A rather odd pairing (For me) [Ignore post count]

Okay, so I don't usually do slash for Lord of the Rings, however I had the oddest desire to do a Denethor/Aragorn pairing.

I have a plot in mind but will happily do other plots with partners if we can work one out.

Plot

[slightly - AU Middle Earth]

Young Aragorn has become a Ranger of the North after learning his true identity in Rivendell. With a group of Rangers they travel South to the gap of Rohan to check their borders are secure. They are captured by Mordor Orcs who are seeking out the Dunedain to try and find Isuildur's heir and bring him back to the Dark Lord. The group of Rangers are taken captive and tortured on their journey ever closer to Mordor. However while passing through Gondor the Orcs are attacked by Gondorian soldiers and the Rangers are rescued. However, in the customs of Gondor they are now in an eternal debt to Gondor and her soldiers. They are taken back to Gondor to repay this debt. Most are turned into soldiers but Aragorn (Now going by Strider to protect his identity) was badly wounded and they are unsure if he will ever wield a sword again. He becomes Denethor's personal servant and Denethor is quick to take a liking to him in a way Aragorn does not expect.

So interested?

I would like to play Aragorn in this story and I am also hoping it would be a bit on the dark side.

Aragorn is several times older than Denethor. If Aragorn is young, Denethor isn't even born yet. Just sayin'. Oh, nope. My bad. But Denethor would still be extremely young. He is an old bastard.

Actually Denethor is one year older then Aragorn, or one year younger. I am trying to remember which way it is.
