Welcome to Medieval Warfare!
Well I've had in mind an interesting arena setting idea I thought up a while ago. Basically the setting is a fantasy medieval era styled battle between one group of warriors and another. Each side belonging to a different company of mercenaries, hired by two different warring nations and sent out on an active search and attack patrol, each team will have one captain who will be ranked as Tier 3. Since it is a fantasy setting, players can make characters that range from a brutish hammer failing orc to a swift moving elves. Or any race they can create or imagine, the only restrictions is that all characters stay within the realm of tier 1 at most, unless your PC is the Captain which can go as high as tier 3. The Death of the Captain on either side will result in the loss of the match.
The battle royal will be using T1 turn based combat rules.
I'll have more on the battle ground itself if I can acquire enough interest. So who's willing to shed some blood. ^^

The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, and atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.

But when you say fantasy medieval
does that include magix?

You know I'll be all over this Khan.
Indeed! Are you going to bring in a reptile warrior. :J
Yes, minor magic of course, the range of magic probably fits more in terms of tier 2 really, small fire balls/magic missiles or what have you, and major spells consuming allot of time and energy.

Maybe make the leader a tier three, 2 captains of tier 2 and the rest tier 1 would make it easier across the board I think.

That's a good idea actually, and it will make the Captain position more important. I'll edit that in, now the question remains if anyone want's the Captain seat for each team.

I added Captain tier, as well as an interesting twist, the death of a Captain will result in the other teams loss.

Yeah, I'd join a low tier battle.

Interested. Though I don't have a character for this particular battle. I'll have to get designing.
