Alien Intelligence operations on Earth (GSY 1013)

Aliens exist. Lots of them.

In fact, a little planet in the Sol system, dubbed Sol III by the aliens, is quite worthless and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It is populated by primitive natives who lack even rudimentary interstellar star travel.

However, one trait is common among many different alien species: Curiousity. The fact that the natives to this "Sol III" planet, which the natives call Earth, are so... similar to certain other races of the galaxy... attracts all sorts of curious interest.

The humans have broadcast speed of light transmissions out into space. How cute. But we knew they existed long before they sent the signal.

But we have left them alone. Because we, the alien races of the galaxy, are bound by Galactic Law not to interfere with the development of low-tech planets.

That doesn't mean aliens are entirely forbidden from visiting, however.... there's just certain guidelines that must be followed, to prevent humanity as a whole from becoming aware of the existence of aliens. It may not work all the time... but humans just love to dismiss all those UFO sightings as hearsay.

This RP idea is focused on the activities of Alien intelligence collection efforts on the planet Earth. Characters may be human or alien, but the general knowledge of alien existence is still unknown to humanity as a whole. This does not mean that all humans are unaware of alien existence, however... several government agencies exist with the sole purpose of concealing the truth of alien life from the general public knowledge. Are you a human agent tasked with cover up operations? An alien agent disguised as a human? Or simple a human who got caught up in things that you weren't supposed to see?

The truth is out there.... but trust no one.

Excellent. I'll probably stage it in my Sci-fi universe, but as humans no understanding of my setting is required, since humans are oblivious to it anyway.

I'll see about setting up an OOC, but might have to wait until after my classes for the day are over to fully establish it.

I'm going to have to say... high casual. I'm good with plots and ideas, not as good with description, but some of the spelling and punctuation I see in Casual is horrendous.

So I'm going to try and make it "high casual" as they call it, encouraging people to post to the best of their abilities as if it was in the advanced section, and hopefully attract some people who often do advanced in order to set an example of what sort of quality is acceptable.

I could totally see some kind of "Men in Black" organization who, if not maintaining order, would cover up a bunch of what we as humans would call bullshit. =P
