Firstly I seek someone who will be able to at least mirror me and push me to new height with his or her response as I want to improve. What will mirroring me will imply you ask? At least 200 words per post, I usually write at least 300. You will also be expected to spellcheck and know your grammar at an acceptable level. I'm not a Grammar Nazi but I should be able to read your post without cringing at those “your” instead of “you're”! The following is strongly influenced by the Atlus Persona and Digital Devil Saga series, spinoffs of the famous Shin Megami Tensei series.
Now let's get to business. I want to do a character sheet-less rp where I would be the storyteller and you would make the Hero in any way you wish. The setting would be in a far future where civilization has long ago crumbled under a threat called the Shadows. Your character is of course special as he is one of the few chosen to create a tribe and gifted with the power to destroy shadow called a Devil, an alter ego born of your character's darkest desires and most primal needs, transforming them into a creature of war when they are upset or in danger. They loose all inhibitions then and are fearsome warriors.
The rp will start at the Tower of the Council, where new tribes are formed and old ones are either monitored or disbanded. It's an imposing place and the council that sits on it's apex is even more so, comprising of the leaders of the five most influential tribes in what remains of the world. You will be asked your name and the colour of your new tribe then and will receive the ritual needed to awaken your Devil. After all is over and done, your character will be set loose upon the world, able to seek tribesmen and battle shadows as they saw fit. I will be providing NPCs and battles at demands and will at this point so you should be on your toes!
Now let's talk a little more about the inhabitants of the world, shall we? The shadows are dark beings appearing at night and made, like their name imply, of a ooze-like purple black substance that is in fact concentrated shadows. They start goo-like but for the mask on what looks like their head or in an appendage that looks like an hand and are pretty weak in this state, that is until they, shortly after, takes true form ranging from floating balls to mighty knights. Their size usually show their strength as they draw power from the dark and despair of their victims.
The tribes are very territorial and are ready to do anything to gain either land, numbers or materials. They usually either lives as nomadic tribes or takes refuge in one of the abandoned ruins of the civilization that fell 108 years prior. They are tight knit with a strong hierarchy as proper roles are vital to survival in this hostile land. They operate like a pack of wolf when is time to redefine the pecking order. Never less to say that your character must stay the leader for their story to continue.
