Always feel free to let me know if .something doesn't work here. She's currently outside the Asha'man camp, and I figured that left room to introduce your char. ^.^

Liked it. Going to post later, but for now I can give you physical appearance.

Only, picture him in one of the long, black Asha'man coats. He stands about six feet tall. He's strong, but lean, looking like he can wield his sword, though he's a bit hunched over, as if a weight is on his shoulders. Eyes are kind, sincere and dark brown.
And yes, his beard is magnificent.

I can't believe I forgot to mention just how fabulous that beard it. Magnificenct indeed!
Alrighty, posted, and I figured there's a few ways Joseth could handle Adusa's request, of which I'm fine with any.

Request handled. It might be a bit much dialogue at once. I don't know if Adusa would be quiet all that time, or try to edge in questions and stuff. But it's a lot simpler to assume that she doesn't speak much while he leads her through the camp. I roleplayed with someone once whose character responded to every little bit my character had said, never mind continuity, and that became sort of a problem.

Oh not at all. That was great! Dialogue is just one of those things where you aim for a happy medium. The post works wonderfully for me, Aes Sedai are masters at responding with just a facial expression anyways and Adusa isn't looking for a verbal sparring session. You've opened the perfect opportunity for Adusa to choose her warder too.

Still reading aMoL. I'm an embarrassingly slow reader. After I'm done though, we should start plotting and finding out where/when to scene-jump to next. I think we should have some events which strengthens their relationship. Saving one another's life perhaps? That's a tad cliché-ish, but hey, clichés work awesomely.
Perhaps we should post extensive information about the characters in this thread too, since they'd know a lot about one another naturally, and we can't roleplay every thought and emotion. Your initial suggestion of 25 years post-aMoL would mean they know each other extremely well. And that would have been the case without the bond too, but we have that to account for as well. I can't even imagine how well they'd know each other by then.

Mmhm. Cliches aren't inherently bad. ^.^ That sounds like a plan. I'm going to have to refresh myself on the battle at Merrilor.
They will know each other inside and out it seems. That's a bit of a first for me, hah. I was thinking that those 25 years (open to negotiation if you think it too long) would have shown them how to shield thoughts, feelings, etc much as is possible in the typical bond. So it would no longer be a flood of input to ignore as needed. It would be a bit more refined. Thoughts?

That sounds like a good idea. It would also be cool if they could sense when the other was blocking a thought/emotion. Blocked stuff could be perceived as a blur. It would add nice complexity I think. It would leave the characters wondering what the other had blocked etc, adding in theory a whole new spectrum of intrigue. And it would be a great way to flesh out posts.
And, well, 25 years is a long time. I don't have a problem with it, really, but we should play out some plots in the years between then and now at least, before jumping so far. Just to flesh out their history, and to kind of show how they learn to master the thought blocking thing and stuff. I thought of making Joseth a lot more Warder-ish as time goes by for example, and that change would come about gradually. Instant transgression but pretending it was gradual would be weird, at least to me.
Back to the cliché. We gotta find a life/death situation. The Last Battle has tons of em. We could roleplay the event at the battle at Merrilor? Since we're there and are going to participate in the battle, it would be just as well. We could clash with Sharan channelers or something. How good is your character at Healing?

I like that, it still allows for some personal conflicts down the line. Definitely we should pick a few things over the years to play out, I know I was thinking on Adusa offering to help seek out Joseth's family, whatever their fate, and even knowing it unlikely to find conclusive answers. I'm sure there's plenty of things we can come up with.
The Sharans would be wonderful to clash with. Unfortunately, Adusa only has a small bit of talent with healing. She'd be able to heal minor things, but nothing major. Her strength lies in offensive use of the power. What about Joseth?
My next post, could set us up for moving to a battle scene if you want. I was toying with ending it with a messenger calling Adusa up for more precise orders. I'm also fine if there was more you wanted to work out in the current scene.
