History :: Elli's parents were both members of a dark guild, a small group of thieves and liars and gamblers who were mages and got together. Mob mentality, whatever you wanted to call it, Elli's parents were just stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wishing a better life for their daughter, they snuck her out of the guild in order to give her a fair and bright future, when Elli was only 10. 8 years later, One of Ellis only goals in life is to find the Dark guild that her parents were in, find information on them, and possibly get them out. If they're still alive, anyways. They were old, after all. Elli can think back on this part of her life without bitterness or regret, and has no major tragedies that were known of.
Since the age of 10, with the money that her parents had given her to survive, Elli booked a room at Fairy Hills and has been paying off her debt by doing odd-jobs and F ranked missions. When she had finally perfected her magic enough that she could use it, she began working full-time as a mage of Fairy Tail. She has never failed a mission as of yet, and is quite proud of it, and although she has yet to reach the level of 'known throughout the world,' Elli is quietly improving.

Personality: Elli is a bookish and incredibly intelligent young lady. She loves knowledge and is always working to improve herself. Although she never had formal education, and her parents were illiterate mages, she self-taught herself many languages, as well as the ability to read and write. She is shy and anxious in company of 'good-looking people,' and still shy around 'average' people. But that's not really important because she finds something 'good-looking' about everyone. She is self-conscious about her eyes and dislikes holding eye contact.
Although her relationships with others is a bit shaky because of her reluctance to speak aloud, Elli has no quarrel with anybody in the guild, and is willing to prove herself a loyal member of Fairy Tail. She isn't very confident in her magical ability, and will often take on a more supportive role in teams. Her utility is a valuable asset to any team, and she will often experience brief moments of boldness, such as asking to be included into an s-ranked team. As her vocabulary gets larger, so do her spells.
