Kimye yawned as she walked along the streets of Las Vegas. Bright lights flashed before her eyes. She wasn't used to all of the commotion and most of all, all the people. For years she had lived in the forests she still had a habit of calling her 'home'. For at least two years now she had yearned to be a part of the public again, she had wanted people to notice her so badly, and finally; she had gotten her wish. Although it was a strange feeling, she loved it when people pushed past her, the faces they made when they saw her clothing. It was mostly made out of grass and leaves, but it was so comfortable. She always wondered why normal people didn't wear them.
The city she had grown up in was a lot different to the place she was wandering about it now. Her hometown rarely received any rain, and her skin was always freshly tanned a dark golden brown. Here in Las Vegas the streets always seemed to be slightly damp, and the floor was extremely cold against her bare feet. The men were dressed smartly in suits and clothes that she remembered her father wore and most of the women wore clothes that Kimye could describe as slightly too revealing. Her own dress covered her perfectly from neck to knee, and she made it herself. These people payed for 3/4 less of clothing for thousands of dollars. It was absolutely crazy.
She had barely been out for ten minutes when she noticed a great large building with golden trims in places. Her mouth gaped wide open and she froze, standing still in the middle of the pavement. She had completely ignored her surroundings and only woke from her hypnosis when a strongly red in the face man bumped into her, and nearly knocked her over. She balanced herself on the wall of the building and vaguely heard the man mutter something under his breath whilst hurrying away with his little suitcase bobbing against the side of his body.
Kimye looked up at the top of the giant building and noticed a great billboard above which clearly said 'Caesars Palace'. So that's what it was! A palace. How fancy. She let her naive mind wander. Being excluded from the outside world throughout her whole life she hadn't come to know what a hotel was, or the fact that people gave buildings fancy names. She blinked a few times, and walked into the huge building through a set of glass spinning door which caught her attention. Another thing she had to write down on her list of great inventions.
She stumbled in and noticed that a small group had already formed.
- So sorry I'm late, I got a bit distracted by some... things. - She smiled shyly, slightly embarrassed at being so late.
