Me me me me!!!! Oh please me!
Woah, didn't read it all. I'll be pm'ing you soon, though.
So, I am in the process of making a Harry Potter Rabbit Doubt. Very complicated junk (mostly more work for me) and it will be unlike any of RD game that I have done. I want to get it started this week and I have role ides. But I need to ask you guys a few questions.
I am wanting to incorporate Houses and House Points into this game.
There will also be character sheets. ex: Dysco's Hunger Game Doubt.
I am also needed a few more roles.
1. Any ideas on how I can incorporate Houses and House Points? I think I'm going to randomly sort the character sheets into houses as I get them. But the House Points I'm unsure of. I was thinking about making it into a four-team RD, but that just depends on how many players I get.
2. What do you guys think about Character Sheets? This is to aid in anonymity among players. You won't know if Grif is playing as Pippin Took or Sally Goodnight so Grif, as a player can't be targeted unless you know his character specifically.
3. Any role ideas? Shoot them to me via PM.

I personally think that CSs are a great idea but how many players would be necessary in order to make the House/role distribution work? I know RD games garner a lot of interest but it might be hard to keep the Houses balanced after a few night roles. Death Eaters vs. students or Aurors could always work as well if you need a fallback plan.

I watched your last RD and was sulking I couldn't have been in it. That plus Harry Potter of course makes me excited.
The House Points thing would do what, though? I'm just kind of confused as to how it would work out. Houses would be easy enough, I suppose. Perhaps, if you really wanted to, you could award House Points for lynch/expulsion votes for actually malevolent roles. Don't say who did it, and if we're using CSs then it would make it a bit easier. Certainly add more "doubt" to it all.
The point of a house is that everyone will be in a house and have a certain role. That doesn't mean though that Voldemort will automatically be Slytherin or Harry is automatically a Gryffindor. The houses are more or less for fun and to keep the feel as "Harry Potter". They will have no true influence on the actual roles.
I enjoy that you mentioned Death Eaters. I may have this go the Mafia/Godfather route.

I'll make sure you know as soon as this one starts up!
And that I am unsure about. I was thinking about having it as an extra win in the game. Whatever house ends up with the most points will win at the end of the game along with the actual winners. I am still toying with that idea atm. There will be secret things in the game that will allow players to play more behind the scenes and that could have some influence on the Points. But if I can't figure something out, then I'm going to toss the Points idea in general.

I don't think I added this, but I think the CS would be a great idea, and really prevent anyone from doing the whole "Nat is the wolf" or "Bela is the wolf" nonsense that typically accompanies any RD that starts up lately.
