"I do too. I'll figure out something tonight...." Kestrel heard his number be called. "Subject 11347, come into the arena." Kestrel started to walk his way to there, giving Flora a small wave before walking into the arena. The experiments roared. Apparently Kestrel would be fighting against a "Fan Favorite." on the other side, there was a scrawny fellow, hunched over, and muttering to himself. Great. He was probably fighting against the most insane of them all.

As soon as the signal started, the "Thing" scramble over on all fours, almost a blur. Kestrel was slashed across the chest by it's long nails. The bastard was a fast one, and he could not get any hits on his opponent. He could hear the roars of the crowd as his blood was spilled again and again..

[Tsubasa]

Flora's nose wrinkled when Kestrel stood and made his way down. This fight was different from the rest. She felt inclined to watch, not because of bloodshed but because she worried about Kestrel. Sadly, he wasn't doing all too well while his opponent slashed him across the chest multiple times. The crowd cheered and screamed. Flora stood so and could see over the woman, who sat in front of her. She held her hands close to her chest and could feel them tingle.

Rick searched with his hellhounds, not able to find the two...His hellhounds caught a scent of something.

They were all calling for his blood. Well... He had been hurt somewhat... Kestrel watched as the the experiment grew lax after a while as Kestrel could not hit him. It now got slower, confident it would win. Horrible mistake. Had it kept up at it's previous speed, there would be nothing he would do. Seeing a window of oppruntinty, he grabbed it as it tried to slash him again. Keeping it down, he started to choke it to death. The sounds his opponent made were less than pleasant. It sounded like a pig/whale that was screaming. A minute later however, the experiment made no sound or signs of life.


Stepping out of the ring, it felt like there was a killer aura surrounding Kestrel. Perhaps killing him was a mistake after all. Everyone was staring at him with less than friendly glares. He was getting out of this place soon. Tired, he sat down where the least amount of inmates were.

Flora pushed past the silent spectators and made her way to Kestrel. She sat next to him with a sigh, "That was only slightly worrisome. At least you got injuries that I can deal with."

She placed her hand on his chest and ran her glowing fingers along the gash. She watched as it disappeared, not even leaving a scar. Her hand reached up and touched the scar on his face, the one she had healed earlier but could do no better. One round of tests and her ability was surprisingly better but that worried her in a way. She dropped her hand, "Sorry... I was just thinking."

Flora looked around and took note of the angry faces, "We should go..." she looked him in the eyes, "And I mean go... Not just back to the room."

"Well... I'll try to get us out. Not sure how though." Kestrel noticed a guard disperse the crowd and come up to him. "You're 11347 right? The director wants you in her office. Come as soon as possible." The guard left them shortly after, herding a few of the experiments back into their rooms. "Flora? What were you thinking about anyway? Seems like I have to depart briefly. My...Other friend wants to chat or something."

[Tsubasa]

Flora looked at him, "That I can get rid of such a large gash so easily and yet left a scar on your forehead from a small nick a few days ago..."

She stood up and nodded, "Don't get killed."

With that she turned and walked away, out of the arena and down the hall. As she walked she noticed Theodore standing a little ways ahead. When he noticed her, he waled over, "You know, you could be stronger."

"What do you mean?"

"With your power, you could gain more control over it, if you'd participate and listen. If you do what I say."

"What if I don't want to?"

"Then you keep seeing the people you love die."

That was some creepy foreshadowing, Flora thought before walking around him. She looked over her shoulder, "I don't need a short cut to save them."

With that she left the man boy and continued her walk down the hall. She should be returning to the room but she really didn't want to. Instead, she looked for a way out.

Walking towards the office, Kestrel opened the door.... only to find darkness. Wandering around a bit, he found the switch to a lamp on the main table. Finding two duffel bags and a written message, he decided to check out the message first.
Hey Kes.
We haven't been on the best of terms in... well, a long time. In... reparations for what I did in the past, in the duffel bags you will find a ballistic vest, and a wide assortment of semi and fully automatic guns. Why am I helping you? Because quite simply, I'd rather let you go free than let Theodore here take over everything. We are equal this time, Capice? Now, a few moments after you read this message, there will be a catastrophic loss of power. The prisoners will riot then, and you may escape as you wish. I just ask one thing of you. Wipe that smile off that smug bastard, Theodore, and we'll be equal. I've wiped all records pertaining to you and your friend. If you get out, it's a fresh start. For real this time. I may come after you after this is done. Depending how this ends, I'll decide then.
An Old Friend~
He opened the bags, and true to her word, there was a ton of weapons and ammo in both duffel bags, including the vest she was talking about. Wearing the vest, he took as many weapons as he could, and slung one of the bags over his shoulder. And again, like the director said, the station went on emergency power. The shouts of guards and experiments alike echoed through the halls. If he wanted to Kill Theo, he'd have to fight his way past both.... But it would be worth it... Running down the hallway, he hoped Flora wouldn't get killed in the crossfire between the guards and supers.
