Life and Time of a Son of a Witch(Lady and Heart)

Other: He is very protective of his younger sister. Also, he has already graduated the school, but has come back to teach so he can keep an eye on Elfiba.

Thirteen to eighteen years old. Those are the ages of the students who come to Shiz. The whole school is called Shiz, but Shiz is really two seperate schools in one building. There's Ruby Acadamy; the school that Elfiba wishes would sink into the ground. That is the school that all of Light OZ students attend. Then there is the Nessarose Acadamy, which was named after the Wicked Witch's Sister, the Witch of the East, whom was killed under the house that held the Dorothy girl and her little annoying dog. That is where Elfiba and the other Dark OZ students attend. But it is hard to keep both schools in line when they are in the same building. This just makes it easier for the Light and Dark OZs to run into each other and fight.

That's what worried Liir the most. He worried that his little sister would get into quite a few fights with the Light OZs. His worry was the exact reason why he accepted this job. He literally just graduated Shiz himself, but he had been such a expert of sciences and of the Talking Animals, being the Wicked Witches son, they had offered him a teaching postition on the study of Animals right after graduation. It would be a joint class with both Light and Dark OZs attending. At first he refused, btu after a little while he decided it would be a good idea. After all, his little sister had been begging since she turned thirteen to go to Shiz, and he had yet to let her. She was sixteen now, and he needed to give her a chance to prove herself. With him on the grounds of the school of course. It was a win-win for both of them.

He walked intot he school, his sister at his side. First he had to make sure she got to her room. Being the Witch's daughter, she would get the best room of course. It was a room to herself at the very top tower. If Liir was still a student, he would be alowed to stay there with her, since that was allowed with siblings, but now that he was a teacher, he decided he would still in the teacher's quarters, mostly because he didn't want to be mistaken for a student.

Smiling, he walked her into her room, "Alright Elfiba, here we are. Are you sure you want to come here? It's a lot of work. And I could easily school you at home--"

"Brother. I want to do this. I want to get as strong as I can with my magic. Just like mom was." Elfiba stated, smiling at her brother as she set her bags down. She could tell he was worried just by the way he ran his hand nervously through his black hair and the way he had that worried look in his emerald green eyes, "I'll be fine. I promise. Now, get going. You'll want to get settled and at your classroom before oritation starts, right?"

He nodded and ruffled her messy short black hair, "Alright." He turned and started to walk out of the room, "The Good Witch's children are here. Remember that. Be careful, okay?"

Elfiba gave him a serious look, then nodded, watching him leave. She unpacked her things and then grabbed her brrom stick, flying out of the window and down to the place that looked like the court yard. She landed and began walking around, examining things. It seemed the court yard was one of the few places both Light and Dark OZs were allowed to be together casually. This would make things at this school interesting. A grin formed on her green, yes green, lips. While her skin was a pale white, her lips were a lime green color. Her lips were her only skin that was green. She wasn't sure why the rest of her skin wasn't green, considering that her mother had been completely green and her brother had no green at all, but she supposed it would remain a mystery.

She leaned her broom stick against a bench and walked around the court yard, glad she seemed to be the only person there. For the moment being anyway.

Age: 16
Appearance: Her hair is shoulder length and curly.

Other: She's as bubbly and friendly as her mother.

Name: Nicoli 'Nick' [But his sister is the only one to get away with calling him Nikki, like some girly nick name]
Age: 17
Appearance: I can be quite dangerous.
Other: He is his sister's opposite, but he isn't a bad guy. He's just more ready to fight than his sibling.

"You know what Nikki? I'm actually excited! I didn't think that....You Know Who survived and to learn that she has kids!" Lilly said in excitement and gasps as her innocent blue eyes widen. "That's just not cool. Especially since all of Oz celebrated that she was dead. But maybe we can be friends!" She said looking up to her big brother hoping that her stoic brother was as excited. And of course he wasn't.

And of course Nicoli wasn't excited. If he were being really serious, he hoped that the Wicked would remain dead, just as they were. He would make sure that none of their corrupt thinking ever sunk into his sister's head. She had powers, but she didn't know when to use them the silly girl. He soothingly pulls a hand through her strawberry blonde hair which she had inherited from their mother. "I highly doubt that they would want to be friends with us. After all, who knows what she has told her children. I wouldn't put it passed her to put ridiculous ideas into their heads. I would be careful sister." He said in all seriousness.

"Time for orientation! Everyone head for the main hall!" Teachers began to usher students into the large room that would serve as the main meeting place for assemblies and such things. Though, Elfiba would have never guessed they would have the oritentation together with the Light students. She could tell all the Darks around her were not happy at all and they began complaining and bad mouthing the whole thing. To be honest, Elfiba could care less who was where. She was here to learn and grow stronger in her magic, not act like these dramatic fools around her. They were getting so loud that she couldn't even hear the speaker. The speaker, an older female teacher, was obviously flustered that she couldn't be heard over the complaining voices. Finally, growing tired of it all, Elfiba shouted at the top of her lungs, "Would everybody just SHUT UP!"

Many of the Dark OZs looked at her with death glares and were about to say something. That is until they saw her green lips and pale skin. She had known it wouldn't take long before word was out she, the daughter of the Wicked Witch, would be there, as well as what she looked like. It seemed that it had already gotten around that one sign it was her was her green lips.

The people who had looked so angery and ready to pounce at her before, sunk in their seats under her glare, and the room was quiet. She looked at the old teacher and nodded to her, silently telling her to continue with what she was talking about.

When orientation was other, the students went seperate ways to find their classes and meet their teachers if they so wished. If not then they just headed back to their rooms. Elfiba had potion making, broom flying, spell memorization, and of course, her brother's class; The study of Animals. She skipped going to all the other classes to meet the teachers. She would meet them soon enough anyway. She went straight to her brother's class, who was there waiting, arms crossed, "Elfi. I know you aren't causing trouble already, are you?"

Elfiba looked over at him, sitting in one of the chairs, watching as he gave some papers to be signed to students, Light and Dark alike, "No, brother, of course not." She said simply with a shrug. Leaning back, she looked around the room, then began flipping through the textbook, "Big classroom. Probabily going to have a lot of students to teach, arent you?"

"Don't change the subject runt." He said, using the name 'runt' in a teasing manner, though kept his face and voice serious, "I heard other students talk about the Witche's daughter yelling at everyone in the assembly and throwing a few fire balls."

"I did not throw fire balls."

He gave her a look, "And what about the yelling?" When she didn't answer him, keeping her eyes on the book, he sighed, "Elfiba, you have to stay as un-noticed as possible. You and I are already targets of haterd for the Light OZs. Just stay under the rder, understand?"

She sighed, "Yes sir." Her tone was mocking, but her face calm. She stood up and shook her chin lengeth black hair from her face, "I'll leave you to your students then Mr. Liir." She grinned at the annoyence on his face, then walked out to explore the depths of her new school.

Liir shook his head, then calmly greeted each student that came into his class, giving them each a sheet of what they would be learning this semester.

Lilly had been in the orientation and had seen the Wicked Witch's daughter act out. She smiles. There's that infamous anger mom always talked about. She thought and after the orientation she decided to see her teachers. She had potion making, the study of animals, spell memorization, and being taught to be the next Good Witch by her mother. Since her brother had been more than ready to fight she had to take the crown of being the next Witch that Oz looked up to. She had a skip to her step as she enters the room of her second class. She looked around curiously as she stood with her other students as Mr. Liir handed out what the class was going to learn and listen to what he required of all students. He was a new teacher, like just graduated last year new. But was he cute. She suddenly felt shy and looks at the paper as he passes her by.

Nicoli walked to his room knowing where his classes were from many years of being here. He was in this years graduating class. He still had the thought to protect his sister the best he could. He was walking at a slow and leisurely pace.

Liir raised an eyebrow when he saw that the Good Witch's daughter was in his class. It wasn't too hard to tell that she was her daughter from the short strawberry blonde hair and the plain out bubbily attitude she seemed to have about everything. He wondered what it was going to be like having her in his class. It almost made him laugh to think that the son of the Wicked Witch would be teaching the daughter of the Good Witch. He handed out the papers to everyone, pausing a moment to give Lilly a nod and spoke to people individually if they had questions about the course. The nod he had given her had been kind of a way of showing that no matter who she was, he was going to teach her with fairness as if she were a Dark OZ herself. He would teach all his students the same with no favor to anyone, even his own sister. That was just the way his was. He walked over to his desk when he was seeminly finished answering the questions people had and opened the text book, trying to make up the plan for class the next day.

Elfiba walked around the school, exploring the places the huge building had, and seemed to stumble toward the side that was mainly for the Lights. It didn't matter though. She knew all those Goody-Two-Shoes were off meeting their teachers and being un-naturally bubbily. She didn't see how anyone could be so happy all the time. It just seemed so strange to her. She searched around, curiosu to see the differences in the Light Side of the school from the Dark. She turned a corner, only to gasp n suprise when she ran smack into someone. She stumbled back, but easily caught her footing, looking up to see it was a Light Student. Her suprised look hardened into one of slight haterd, her green lips pressed into a fine line, "Watch where you're going." She hissed at him, then went to walk around him.

Nicoli rose an eyebrow and his eyes turned cold. "Unlike some bumbling twit, I had been watching where I was going. Perhaps it is your vision that needs to be checked. If you will excuse me I feel the urge to take a shower and burn my clothes. I hope never to see you again." He said honestly and continued on his way not turning his head once.

Lilly had left when the new teacher had answered all the questions and pouts prettily as she felt her brother's foul mood get worse. She then hurried her steps as she heard her brothers last words and winced. Ouch. Her brother could be mean as a Dark Oz should he be crossed wrong. She tsked. "Onii-san don't be so mean." She said causing him to stop as she walked up to him and smiles at him. "You wanna know somethin'? One of my teachers is a just graduated student new. Isn't that cool! Will you stay too and teach? That would be nice ya know." She said and turned towards the daughter of Elphaba. "Its really good to see you. I didn't think you existed. Welcome to Shiz!" She said with a bubbly smile tilting her blonde head.

Elfiba turned with a death glare on her face, ready to shot a comment back at him when a bubbily girl hopped over to the boy, chatting excitedly about a new teacher who had literally just graduated Shiz. Elfi had to withhold her laugh and smirked. This girl had to be the daughter of Galinda, and she could guess that since she had called the boy 'Onii-san' that he was the son of Galinda as well. Her smirk never left her green lips her emerald green eyes dangerous, "Heh, thanks. Oh, and have fun having my brother as a teacher." She gave the boy a victorious grin before she turned, walking off on her own and back toward her own room, leaving the two siblings to discuss what ever they wished to. Of course, it wasn't long before her brother came up to her room to scold her on not visiting her other classes.

"You're new here at Shiz, Elfiba. You need to get to know your teachers, and the other students."

"Who says I want to know them. If they're anything like the children that Good Witch spawned, then I don't want to be any where near the other students." She stated, twirling her pencil in her hand as she sketched on a peice of paper.

"The Good Witches children? You've met them already." When she nodded, Liir sighed, "Stay away fro them Elfi. They are nothing but trouble, do you understand me?"

"Ha! Stay away from them? You serious have to ask me that? I don't want to be any where near them! I just bumped into them by accident, thats all."

"Alright...if you say so...just..go to sleep sis. Classes start at Nine so be up bright and early." He walked over, giving her a light kiss on the forhead, which, with an annoyed look, she wipped off, "I have a letter from mother..."

That seemed to brighten her up, as she never really got the chance to speak with her mother, nor her father, so the possiblilty of hearing from either one was able to bring her out of her dark and gloomy mood and into the mood of someone who was child like. She hopped up from where she was sitting, smiling brightly, "Really?"

"Hmm, I don't know. The way you've been acting lately I don't think you really deserve to get it..."

She was jumped up and down now, moving in front of him when he went to walk for the door teasingly, "Oh! Come on! You have it with you, don't you? Give it to me!"

Liir laughed as she pulled on his arm, "Alright, alright, you little minx." He reached into his cloak pocked and pulled it out.

She immidiently snatched it from his hand and opened it. It was short, but it filled her with joy

Elfiba smiled, then looked at her brother, "Where are they now?"

Liir frowned and looked at his younger sibling, "You know I can't tell you that Elfi. Remember, no one must know where they are at. It's for everyone's best interests that they stay hidden from everyone."

"But I'm their daughter! I should know where they are! You know where they are, so I should too!" She said with a deep frown, trying to convince her brother, which wasn't working so well.

"Elfi..." She shook his head lightly, "You knwo that as the eldest, I have to know where they are to keep in touch with them. If I didn't we would have no way to contact them at all. It's dangerous, but I'm willing to put myself in danger so that we can keep in touch with our parents. I tell you this every time we have this conversation..."

"I know..." She stated sadly, sitting on her bed, "I just want to see them."

He nodded and gave her a hug, "I know you do. Don't worry, Elfi, this isn't going to last forever." He stood and walked to the door, "Now, go to sleep." With that, he left and Elfi indeed curled up into bed, falling asleep after reading the letter a few more times.

"I like her." Lilly decided with a giggle.
"You like everyone Lillian." Nicoli said still cross. Lilly pouts prettily.
"Its Lilly or Ann. No one but mother and yourself call me that. And you when your really cross."
"Well I am cross." He snapped wanting to punch something. "I'm going to get rid of these clothes and work out. You know the way to your room right?"
"Yup momma gave me a tour!" She said as she waved at her brother and skipped down the hall singing a nonsensical song as she went.
