Leaving Eden (OOC)

This role play will be set in a world known as Eden. This world was sort of a pet project of mine awhile back so there is a fair bit on it written out in a group I created when I first starting to make it for a role play. Now that you have done some reading about the world I will share the plot with you. Two weeks ago a convoy guarding the Last Maiden was attacked by an unknown group of men wearing black hoods and wielding jagged toothed blades. Since then three other attacks have taken place throughout the world of Eden all involving a cities last maiden. Along with the attacks on Last Maiden several other crimes have been committed involving sabotage of major temples.

An emergency council was called by both the Terra Maiden and the community of city states. It was later decided that the remaining Last Maiden’s would have their guards doubled as well as limit their time outside the temple. It was also decided that any and all Last Maiden’s leaving for their Maidens Journey would be protected by a joint convoy from all the city states. This was due to two major reasons.

• Tensions were running high as different city states believed one city was responsible for the actions being done by the hooded criminals.
• The cooperation between the different city was made a mandatory factor in protecting the Maiden’s by order of the Terra Maiden.

Facts required before moving further are the following.

• The missing Last Maidens are from Cyprus, Kozani, and Patras.
• Characters can be from any city.
• I am looking for someone who would be willing to take the role of Opio’s Last Maiden. If interested please let me know through PM.

What kind of characters are you looking for to guard the Last maiden? Is it going to be like a organized sort of party? or like a rag-tag group of brash and bawdy fellows?
I'm trying to get a feel for this RP, like whether its gonna be a light hearted RP or a really dark and somber RP

I thought that each person could write a character from a different city. You could be a member of the army, navy, or other branch of the military. This also includes the temple guard group; however, please do not make your character a super high ranking sort of character that leadership role is already filled. Final thought is it would be a rag-tag group made up of people heavily involved in a organization of sorts.

As for the 'mood' I would say it walks the line between both, but will likely be a little bit more on the light hearted side. I will say that there will be character deaths at one point so it won't be completely happy days.

Alright, my idea is a kind of con-man talker kinda guy, the kinda snarky, sarcastic informant/spy sort of deal, and would probably rely on swiftness and underhandedness in combat as opposed to strength and stuff

So long as he is sent as a city's representative I am fine with this. Also heads up for everyone I will have a character who is from Opio so that cities representative is already locked.

Quick question: do wizards and other specialized spell casters exist in this universe?

Magic does not exist in the wizard sense. The closest thing I would say is something I am still working on explaining, but it would be a ‘gun’ that you can embed different things inside which would cause the magix to act differently (One type would cause a massive gust of wind to billow out from the barrel. Another lights the magix on fire.) If you are interested in this then let me know and we can talk about it more.
