As the dark clouds swarmed over the sky of the DelToro estates, a pale, round face could barely be seen from the upstairs window. Analise pressed her fingers soft finger tips up to the window pane, as her stormy as the sky green eyes watched the six limos leave to go pick up their guests for the evening. Excusing herself, she untied her red silk robe and let it fall to the hard wood floor, revealing her black lace undergarments. Opening her wardrobe her fingers searched slowly, until she picked out a black cocktail dress. A smile formed on her pink lips, as she slipped it on, it fit just right, and made her feel very beautiful, if only for a moment. Her bare feet made their way to the bathroom as she continued getting ready. Placing her long brown hair into a high bun, she proceeded to put on her makeup. Leaving the bathroom she turned to the intercom, and pressed her finger delicately against the call button, "Attention staff, dinner should be served in an hour, or until the last guests arrive. John, please direct the guests to the foyer until I come down." She pulled away before returning, her now brightly painted red lips close to the speaker, "Thankyou everyone." Ana sat down quickly on her bed behind her as a sigh escaped her lips. Her bare thighs touched ever so slightly as she threw herself back on the bed letting her bones rest, if only for a few minutes. Tonight would be a night she would never forget.

Of course she had attended these affairs every year as a child, but tonight would be the night she hosted it. Her mind drifted off to her times of being a child, she looked like a doll all dressed up in her best, making sure not to get messy outside before the time of the dinners would come. She’d smile and sit across the long dining table from her father, three guests on either side of them. The most delectable food would be served, and Ana would eat and eat till her little tummy could barely make a budge. There, her father would start the games; John would come out and cover the expensive wallpaper, decorations and light fixtures in plastic wrap, and her father would stand and start off by saying the first guest’s name, promptly followed by, "Would you rather ele-"

Just then, a boom of thunder struck through the sky. Analise became startled as her body jumped. She tilted her head resting her eyes on the time of the grand father clock. "I suppose it is that time." She declared, convincing herself to rise up. Getting on her two feet she peeked at herself in the mirror and began fixing her dress upon her body. Like clockwork she then slipped into a pair of black heels as she made her way through the estate.

Six limousines pulled out of the driveway of DelToro estates on that cold, rainy evening. Each going their different ways as they traveled to the location of each and every single dinner guest. For some, the limousine attracts the eye of your nosy neighbor as they come straight to your home, for others they have came to the town home given to you for the last few days generously by Analise DelToro herself. No matter the case, a well dressed man appears at your door, holding an umbrella out as he rings the doorbell once, and announces, "DelToro Enterprises."

John straighted his tie and walked out of his room. This would be his 10th year as the head butler. The limousines should be arriving shortly. He listened to Analise's announcement and started walking to the entrance. This year would be different indeed now that Annalise was the owner now instead of her father. He was sure Annalise would do the job correctly and there wouldn't be any problems. He approached the entrance and exited out the doors. As the first guest exited the limo John kindly said, "Welcome to DelToro Enterprises."

As I am slipping on my blue t-shirt, I hear the doorbell ring as well as the sound of a man's voice saying, "DelToro Enterprises." "Ah, just the person I was waiting for,” I clearly state in my head. I pull on my jeans and put on some cologne as my mind wanders to the prize of this “contest”, whatever that may mean. I remember back to the letter. “I have come to know of your situation through an inside source. It may take you a few minutes to think about what that situation is, but I will inform you that I will take care of it.” How Mrs. DelToro knew this information was still a mystery to me, but regardless I had wanted some knew bounty equipment recently. What could be a better opportunity? I pay nothing for very expensive equipment and I do what? Play a game? Seemed like a simple choice to make. As I finish doing my hair, I walk out of my room and tell my wife I will be back in a few hours. She nods respectively and I walk past the living room to the door. As I approach the door I notice a casually dressed man waiting outside my door with an umbrella through the two windows nearest to the front door. “I thought it would be Analise herself greeting me,” I thought silently to myself. I step out the door and greet the man.
“Good evening sir,” I state as I close the door behind me.
    “Salutations,” he responds.
“You aren’t Analise. Can I trust you?” I posed.
“Of course you can trust me sir.” He pulls out a business card and there it was printed in bold, DelToro Enterprises.
“My apologies sir, but you can never be too sure,” I concluded.
“There’s no reason to apologize, but please do hop in the limo. Analise is expecting us back soon.”
“Oh, of course sir. I didn’t mean to keep us waiting.”
“Once again, no need to apologize.”
I took a seat in the limo and the casually man plopped down next to me as another man began to drive. The limo wasn’t extremely fancy, but then again I shouldn’t be one to talk. Assuming multiple of these limos were going around town, this event would be far from cheap. Perhaps I would have more money than I needed for my equipment if I won.
“Excuse me sir, but may I request your name?” I asked in curiosity.
“That information cannot be disclosed at this time. If you seek that information you will have to seek out Analise in your free time. My most sincere apologizes of course, but it is for your own good.”
“What shall I call you then?” I asked.
“Ah, just in time. We have arrived. Please step out on the left side, the right side is blocked as you may see. Analise has found quiet the obsession with her greenery.”
“Well here I am,” I quietly said to myself. For better or for worse, I silently concluded before I stepped into the house.

Zwielin heard the "DelToro Enterprises" at the door. He remembered the letter, and how he would get enough to pay for the debt, and a whole lifetime's worth of whatever the hell he injects in himself!
"I'll be down in a moment!" he yelled to them. He grabbed his syringe, and injected it in his arm. He didn't know what he was taking, but it be damned if it didn't make him feel good.

Zwielin felt the effects immediately, and smiled.
"Please hurry sir, Miss Analise won't wait much longer!" the driver yelled from outside.
"One minute please!" he yelled. He grabbed his good suit, and quickly put it on. Afterwards, he dug under his bed, and pulled out a small box.
"Ohh, my babies..." he whispered to them. Within the box was a kit to make a joint and several bags of weed.

After tucking the small box in his pocket, he walked over to the door, and opened it.
"Hello, my good man, sorry for the wait, I had some business to finish," Zwielin told the man.
"It is alright," the driver said, "But please hurry into the car, we must leave now."
Zwielin nodded, and walked over to the limo, and opened the door. "Such pretty colors," he said. He was in his high trace, it wouldn't wear off for a while.

Once in the limo, Zwielin looked around, "So, who are you exactly. I mean, you know me, but who are you?"
The driver shook his head, "That information cannot be disclosed at the time."
"Oh..." Zwielin said, "I guess that's alright.

The rest of the drive was spent in silence, and the car eventually stopped.
"Mr. Uthor, we are here," he said.
"Oh, good!" Zwielin said excitedly. He looked up, and walked to the door, and stepped inside.

Alexander sat on the couch of the generously provided temporary living quarters. He flung cards into a small waste basket, each card landing inside. “I’ll get you back mom, I swear it; I wont let them whore you out.” Alexander said to himself as he remembered the scene of his mother being taken.

“Hun, are you ready for dinner.” Alexander’s mother called from the kitchen. It had only been a few days since his dad had passed and she wanted something to do to keep her busy. Alexander knew she was just trying put the whole situation out of head so he let her come over and make him dinner each night. It made her happy to do something for him. “Yeah, just give me a second to wash up.” Alexander called back. As he stepped into the bathroom the front door was kicked in. He quickly ran from the bathroom to the front room he saw several men running in with submachine guns. “What‘s going on here?” Alexander’s mother asked when she saw the gunmen. A large bald man in a gray suit walked into the room. “Mrs. Shnorad. I represent my employer who shall remain nameless. Your husband left behind a large amount of debt to my employer. I have been sent to collect the full amount of six hundred forty two thousand dollars.” The man announced in a deep voice. Alexander’s mother’s eyes became wide. “We don’t have any near that amount of money.” She said. “Then you, being his wife, will work for us as a whore until the debt is paid off.” The man said. “There is no way my mother is going to whore her self for the likes of you!” Alexander yelled. The man turned and raised an eyebrow to him and asked “Would you rather make a deal for your mother?” “Give me a month and I’ll have all the money, plus ten percent.” Alexander offered. “That sounds like a good deal, but your mother comes with us. We will keep her safe and sound and provide for her for thirty days, if you haven’t delivered the money by then she will be put out as a whore to pay the debt.” The man offered. Alexander gritted his teeth and said “Fine.” “Good.” The man said then snapped his fingers and two of the gunmen came up behind Alexander’s mother and forced her to walk. “Don’t worry mom, I’ll find a way to get the money.” Alexander told her. “I know you will son, I know you will.” She said as they took her out the broken door. “A pleasure, sir.” The large man said then left with the rest of the gunmen following.

Alexander flipped the last card into the waste basket while saying “I’ll get you back.” As he stood from the couch, to retrieve the cards, the doorbell rang. “DelToro Enterprises.” Came a voice from the door. He walked over and opened the door. “You here to take me to the place?” He questioned. “Yes, sir.” The driver said. “Lead on then.” Alexander said stepping under the umbrella the driver had brought along. Alexander entered the limo and waited for the river to return to the front. When the driver had gotten behind the wheel they were off. It wasn’t long before they had arrived at the location. Alexander stepped out and quickly entered the building.

Adding a few miles to his Delta Airlines travel card and staying the night in a place other than home is not out of the ordinary for Jake, though doing such for something that was not directly tied to a political event or necessity struck him as a bit odd. During the fifty five minute flight from Washington, DC to New York Jake did not go over any documents, an article pertaining to any political poles, or even over his agenda as today and the following days meetings were moved to later in the week. Instead, throughout the near hour spent in the air, Jake studied the letter received from Analise DelToro from beginning to end over and over. Having reserved his spot at the dinner party the previous day, Jake’s attention and thoughts hardly drifted from what tonight’s activities might hold in store for him. “Surely someone is toying with me about running for congress… that is the only possible thing that I would need any assistance or funding in my life.” Thought Jake to himself just before the fasten seatbelt light flashed and finally held constant as the pilots voice could be heard from the intercom.

“We will be descending in preparation for our landing at LaGuardia Airport in New York, New York. Please fasten your seatbelts and return your seats to the upright position and as always, thank you for flying with Delta Airlines.”

Landing and gathering his luggage as usual was a bit different then what was normally experienced, as his personal assistant was told that she would not be needed for the event. “I really should give her a raise after tonight.” Thought Jake as he chuckled after finally founding his items and entered one of what seems like thousands of taxis that line the curb just outside the airport. The address of the town home, which was accompanied by the flight ticket in the letter received yesterday, was given to the cab driver before Jake slumped back in the vinyl seat exhaling a nervous sigh and pondering upon the night set before him.

With what only seemed like an hour or two after arriving at the town home before the door bell brought Jake to his feet, taking a moment at the foyer mirror to give his suit and hair a once over and finally opening the door after hearing the announcement of “DelToro Enterprises”. Extending his hand for a shake accompanying such with a wide smile as always Jake spoke in a happy tone. “Nice to meet you sir, I am Jake Johnson.”

The handshake was returned firmly before the umbrella was lifted over Jake’s head as the town home’s door was shut and secured. “Pleased to make you acquaintance, shall we make our way to the car?” Was spoken by the gentleman before the two made their way to the limo and found their seat, thinking it a bit odd that the doorman’s name was not offered Jake let it go as this evenings events were foremost upon his thoughts. As the driver navigated between the town home and DelToro Estates not a word was offered by the well dressed doorman, Jake would begin to start a conversation a few times but decided it best to keep his thoughts to himself.

“Welcome to DelToro Estates.” Spoke the gentleman that had rang the doorbell, opening the car door and once again holding the umbrella over Jake as the two made their way towards John the Butler standing at the door.

“Jake, Jake Johnson.” Was spoken in response to John’s greeting as the two men shook hands, shortly thereafter the invitation letter was retrieved from the inside pocket of Jake’s navy blue suit jacket and shown to John the butler for assurance. It wasn’t until the letter was placed back into the secure holdings of Jake’s pocket that the realization of the car rides company had departed and the limo once more was in motion.

Simon Harrison reached for the door. The cold metal of the handle stung his skin as he grasped it. He could hear a vague sound on the other side growing louder. As it grew louder his heart beat felt sharp in his chest. Something was wrong here. He didn't want to open that door anymore, but he couldn't will himself to move away. The jumble of noises on the other side was closer now, it sounded like so many voices melded with static; he could feel their vibrations through the door itself. His arm started to spasm and dropped uselessly down to his side, and then the door ripped wide open into a black abyss.

A soft chime called out to him from the distance.

    "DelToro Enterprises."

Simon shot up. "Fuck." His spine radiated with a dull pain in protest to his sudden jolt. He had fallen asleep on the couch. Swiping his phone up from the coffee table next to him, he checked the time. Damn. He wondered how long the guy had been standing outside ringing the doorbell or if he had just got here.

Simon took a deep breath and rubbed his arms vigorously to try to get rid of the goosebumps that had been raised by that dream. "Coming!" He shouted over to the door as an afterthought.

He got up and collected his coat from where it was draped over the back of the couch, slipped his cellphone inside one of the pockets, then dipped his hand down further to check that his keys were already there resting at the bottom. He buttoned up the front of the coat as he headed for the front door. Briefly, he paused upon hearing the sound of rain falling outside to grab his umbrella beside the door before finally opening it.

"Simon Harrison?" He was greeted by a well-built African-American male whose face and scalp were both impeccably clean-shaven. He was dressed finely in a tailor-made black suit and tie, holding up an umbrella that was probably just as expensive, considering his employer. Simon still preferred to carry his own, nevertheless.

"Yes, and you're from DelToro Enterprises?" Simon asked in reply. "You were sent by Analise, correct?"

"That is correct, sir." The man nodded.

    "Please, just call me Simon."

"Alright, Simon. Well, I've got a limo waiting for you right across the street." The man turned partially to point out towards the street where there was indeed a long, glossy black vehicle idling in the rain some distance away.

    "Sounds great!" exclaimed Simon.

Popping open his own umbrella, he joined the man outside and together they went to the car.

The drive was lively with conversation between the two men; any previous uncertainty Simon had felt about this whole deal was unwound by the driver's sociable nature. Then again - he recalled faintly in the back of his mind - they say that psychopaths are always the most sociable people.

That thought was soon distracted by the wild dance of red lights flashing up ahead.

"There seems to be a pile-up ahead." The driver confirmed, the car coming to a slow crawl. "We're going to be arriving a bit late."

"Don't sweat it." Simon told him casually, but then glanced over to see that the man had his fingers pressed to an earpiece, speaking to someone at the DelToro estates no doubt. He felt a little bit embarrassed now, so he tried to occupy himself with looking out the window at the blurred city-scape instead.

He noticed another limo lined up right beside them. What were the odds? Now that he thought about it, there was a good chance that it was carrying another one of DelToro's guests.

Some time later, they were moving on the road at normal speeds again, and the other limo was indeed heading the same way they were. Simon had the urge to inquire about it many times to the driver, but decided it was ultimately pointless -- if they really were both going to the same place, he'd find out when they both stopped there.

This turned out to be the exact case as both limos arrived, parking parallel in front of the grand estate. The drivers of both promptly climbed out and went over to open the door for their guest to exit the vehicle.

"Here we are. You'd better hurry inside."

Simon got out, opening up his umbrella, and gave the driver a firm handshake. "Thanks, man." He only realized a little late as he was heading up the steps towards the front doors of the estate that he never got to know the man's name.

The guest from the other limo - a young woman - was already eagerly ahead of him, entering the building.

My first step into the house was awe-inspiring. The architecture was amazing and remarkably simple at the same time. Butlers were rushing around getting ready for the big night. They knew what was in store for me, but I didn’t. Maybe I could bribe one of them… I couldn’t believe how many people Analise had employed. Were they all for this event or were they working at DelToro Enterprises full time?
The first room seemed like a hub for all places in the mansion. There were so many places to go from the first room, so many places to explore. The house was two stories high, and the two marble staircases on opposite sides of the room led to the second level. Both staircases were connected together at a semi-circle platform at the end of both stairs. The semi circle on the second level was made out of glass so you could see directly through it.
“Sir, do you need help finding anything?” A butler asked.
I had forgotten how long I was just sitting there gawking at the mansion.
“Yes sir. Is there some place I can wait until the games begin?” I questioned, as I didn’t just want to stand here the whole time.
“Yes sir. Follow me to the bar.”
We went through the first hallway on the left and ended up in a massive room that showcased its own movie theater and bar in the back. There was also a popcorn and candy stand to the direct left of the bar.
“Thanks, dude,” I told the butler. “And one more thing. Can you tell Analise she has a beautiful home?”
    “Of course,” he replied.
After the kind butler left, I walked up to the bar and asked what they had.
“We have anything you could ever think of. Any alcohol or beer you could ever want,” stated the bartender with pleasure.
    “Do you just have water?”
“Oh. Well sir, please enjoy yourself. You’re at a party. Have some beer. Get comfortable. I insist,” said the bartender.
“I’m not really a huge beer fan. Thanks though.”
That was a lie. I loved beer, but getting drunk at a stranger’s house probably wasn’t the best idea. Even if it was a party.
“No, sir. Please drink some beer. I really insist,” stated the bartender creepily.
“Thanks for offer, but I just want water.”
The bartender finally gave me my water. I wondered what that was about. It was quite strange. I took a seat on one of the many couches and flipped the TV on to channel 54.
As I turned on the TV, I heard the bartender say to himself, or at least I think it was to himself, “Analise, he is resisting.”
This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder I think to myself as I wait for the others.

Zwielin walked into the mansion, he was too high on whatever he injected into himself to notice anything, and walked into a butler.
"Watch where you're going!" the butler yelled at him.
Zwielin looked at him, tilting his head, before giggling, "Funny butler..."
The man rolled his eyes, "I assume you're here for the party?"
Zwielin nodded, and the butler motioned him to follow.
"Where are we going?" he asked, before he was unceremoniously shoved into the bar.

Zwielin looked in the bar, there wasn't much that he could see other than a single person. He walked over, and took a seat next to him.
"HII!" he said, his voice slow and slurred from his high.

Alexander walked into the mansion. He didn't care to take in the architecture or ambiance of the elaborately décor. He was there for one reason and one reason only; to win the money needed to save his mother. He didn’t really know where to go, he didn’t know the place after all. A butler came to him and asked “Welcome, sir. Is there anything I can help you with?” Alexander looked at him and almost told him to back off, but knew it was just the situation he was in that made him want to snap at the man. “Uh, yeah. I need place to sit and relax, maybe get a drink?” Alexander said a little on edge. “Yes, sir. Right this way.” The butler said leading Alexander to the bar. “Here we are.” The butler said on arrival. “Thanks.” Alexander said entering the bar. He saw two other guys sitting at the bar as well. He walked past them and sat at the farthest end of the bar. “Would you like something to drink, sir?” The bartender asked. Alexander thought a moment and said “One bourbon, one scotch, and one beer. ” The bartender smiled getting the reference then asked “Any particular brand, Mr. Thorogood?” “The best you got.” Alexander replied with an amused look. The bartender nodded his head and went about getting his drinks.
