Ghostbusters: A New Beginning

It is modern day and more and more sightings of ghosts have been reported the last few decades but very few believe it. One day however a young man and some friends of his formed a certain exterminator business that specializes in dealing with spectral pests and threats. The business is fairly new, however, and has mostly gotten prank calls and people asking if they were serious. They are yet to deal with an actual ghost but the young man that formed the business is enthusiastic and thinks that sooner or later an actual ghost will come up. He and his friends wouldn't have to wait too long.

Name: Victor Cravos
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance: 6'4". 180lbs. Skinny build. Longish wavy chocolate brown hair. Lean facial features. Bright grey eyes.

Bio: Victor was a geek when he was a kid. Still kinda is. He studied hard since it was either that or go outside during recess and get bullied. He took up running fairly quickly and ran a lot, mostly from the bullies. He can now run like the wind.

His first encounter with a ghost was when he was 16. He was working part time at the library when he encountered the ghost of a librarian that had died nearly a century ago. From that day he was fascinated by them and studied about them though not too much to deter his engineering studies and physics.

With his one of his buddies they managed to create a Proton pack and after some trials they managed to try and capture a ghost. It failed but that's when they made the ghost trap. The Ghost trap is yet to be tested so he can't wait for a job.

✤ Biography: When her parents suggested she made some new friends in town, they didn't expect her to fall in line with a bunch of kids who ran around town looking and exterminating 'ghosts'. Embarrassed, her parents don't tend to talk about Evelyn much when asked how the family is doing. "She's fine, just being Evelyn.." Just being Evelyn was what Evelyn did just right. Graduating as an art major from the local community college, Eve had already submerged her feet in what "weird" this town had to offer, and she felt like she fit right in. Meeting with the team came with chance, and she wouldn't change that for anything. She cares for the team with all her heart, and though one of the younger members she acts like a motherly figure at times. Being a little over protective and worry wart, tends to do that to a person. Though deathly afraid to find a ghost, she really wants to; just so her friend Victor can finally prove all the assholes that doubted him, wrong.

-Bio: The Laughing Specter, Harbinger of Hilarity, Pranker of Princes. The Harlequin has been in existence since sometime back in the Dark Ages, research shows that it very well may have been summoned back then and it's summoner forgot to unsummon the being. A Class 10 Intelligent poltergeist style entity, bordering on a Class 11 demonic entity. The Harlequin likes to laugh, have fun and entertain, but has been known to cause entire town unknown amounts of strife and pain when it's angered. At the moment it's taken a liking to the Ghostbusters, and spends alot of time acting as a liaison between the Busters and ghosts or entities that can be talked down rather then in need of a Busting.

-Bio: A former Parapsychology professor at a local university. Has a bit of a love interest with the ideas of clairvoyance and psychokinesis. Had managed to net a grant from the university to pursue research into these two so called paranormal abilities that some people might have. He was eventually let go from the university, saying his research was just a load of crock and he had no place in the university.

After a month of living off his severence pay he finally started looking for new work. And found the whole idea of a paranormal team of men and woman going out to pursue ghosts that could indeed potentially have the abilities he wants to study so much, well he couldn't pass up the chance and wanted to join them.

Both are very interesting, especially the ghost. However....I am afraid that he can't be a character that is with them the entire time. I might allow him to come later, be sure of that. But class level 10??? I'm afraid not.

For the starting to the RP he can just watch, building up the courage to make himself known to the Busters. Later on he could appear to them in a lesser form, or at a dampened class level before regaining his true power. I'll play Victor as my main character and the Harlequin atleast for the nonce as a secondary cameo character on occasion.
