I'm sort of looking for an almost grimdark war experience in an RP. For a partner though, I'm looking for someone to either be my comrade in arms in the war. If your looking for some romance, while I am open to it, don't expect a truck-load of it. That being said, I don't really have high expectations, we're only human after all! I perfectly understand writer block syndrome and I can relate! I myself will try my best to not write one liners.

I like to play things out in an original setting. I don't usually post within the confines of a modern world, so I usually use the Strangeworld setting Ace Combat has! Different geographics, names, countries and everything but practically the same technology!

Killzone: Special Forces operators fighting in the Extrasolar War(s)
Ace Combat: Pilots/grunts in a Vietnam-Afghanistan esque conflict [modern]
Halo: Marines/ODSTs during the Human-Covenant War
Halo: Army troopers during the Insurrection (resembling the wars we have today)
Mass Effect: Command staff on a Normandy-class ship, the SSV Ain Jaunt
Warhammer: Imperial Guard or Space Marines
Aliens: Colonial Marines on a tour of duty
Star Wars: Stormtroopers or Rebels
Starcraft: Marines (Because those guys are always ignored!)
Starship Troopers: Mobile Infantry (Fighting bugs is always fun! Never read the book, just saw the movie)
