    Jericho [IC]

The Jericho sat almost lifeless on a small moon in orbit around Begoria. They were twelve hours early for the rendezvous with their 'client' and Jean figured it'd be a good time for his crew to get some rest. The only thing with that showed any life in the cockpit besides the captain, was the instruments on the navigation's console. He sat back in the pilot's chair with both feet up on one of the instrument panels. He had a tin cup with about a shot of whiskey in it to sooth some of his nerves. Being on or even near an Inner Rim Planet made him nervous about getting caught and somewhat infuriated him. He gradually raised the cup to take a sip from his drink, never removing his eyes from what lay beyond the forward window. The very sight of the planet made his stomach turn but, he pushed the feeling out of the way. He kept it at the back of his mind. He slowly lowered his arm to hang on the arm rest like his other arm had been doing.
    "I aim to misbehave."

Come see the Jericho. She's a fine ship. And we're always looking for a client or a middleman to give us a job.

Come on over to The Pub. All are welcome, here.

Miria was waiting right in front of the door that led to the cockpit, her forehead almost touching it, still debating on whether she should go in or not. She knew how Jean could get when around the Inner Rim. Heck, even she could get goosebumps from just the thought of the crew being spotted by the alliance in a place like this; and, knowing how much he cared about them all -and specially about the ship-, she understood his state of utmost tension.
'If only it wasn't for this stupid client, asking to meet us here...'. Yup, she already didn't like this person, even though they had yet to meet. Just the mere thought of him making Jean worry like that made her hate him.
Without loosing anymore time, she opened the door and walked in carefully. "Jean?", she spoke, walking up to him. She placed a hand on the back of his seat, and looked down at him.

Jeans head quickly turned to see Miria standing over right behind his chair. He looked back through the window towards Bagoria again. "Yeah?" he uttered as he went to take another sip of whiskey. "Shouldn't you be asleep by now?" he asked her. "We got a long day ahead of us tomorrow." He let his arm hang back on the arm rest where it properly belonged. He adjusted his legs to support the weight of a person and grasped his wife's hand, guiding her over to his front in the hopes that she would get his hint.

Miria smiled softly while guided by her husband, and, understanding immediately, she slowly sat on his lap, leaning her back on his chest carefully, and laying her head on his shoulder, to look up at him. "Sleep? Without my favorite pillow? No way", she said, still smiling, and kissed Jean's cheek. "And, in any case, the same applies for you. Actually, it applies specially for you", she scolded him jokingly, trying to lighten up his mood, while softly caressing his hand with her thumb.

Rin sat in a small metal room with only a small square table, three chairs, and two angry "customers" staring eachother down with Rin smack in the middle. "I'm not budging! 40k is plenty for one case! You need to bump down 10k before I'll even think of negotiating ten cases..." a fat, bald, and sweaty man in an expensive suit ranted with a large cigar in his mouth. "No way! This is grade A circuitry, no replacement alloys or impurities. Perfect for any application. Missiles, drones, utility heatsinks... all need this stuff to work. I'll bump 7k but that's all." A rather tall, skinny chinese looking man in thick rimmed glasses said with confidence in his voice. The stares between the two could light fires, and Rin almost stuck his cigarette between them to light it. Instead he got out his Zippo.

Rin gave a big sigh and gestured towards the tall chinese man. "Okay let me see the case, I'll inspect a sample to see if your telling the truth." He said in a annoyed and tired voice. The chinese man obeyed and quickly pulled out a circuitboard from inside his leather briefcase and handed it to Rin. He quickly looked it over. "Series 12 Alliance weapons navigations system.... looks legit." He took a drag from his cigarette. "Look! I don't think you realize what kind of situation you are in. Selling stolen Alliance goods to Rebels is pretty much a death penalty. Bump to 5k, meet in the middle. Everyone may go home a little angry but they will GO HOME. Now if you shake on it I can get an unmarked ship to safely deliver ten cases to one of 23 safe drop points on one of the nearby moons where patrols dont look." Rin Quickly shoved the circuit board in his own briefcase. "This will count as your half of my share and I'll pick up his share in credits right after we drop the goods.... deal?" Both men gave long hard stares at eachother before reluctantly shaking eachothers hands. "DEAL!" Both said together.

Sparky let out a squeek as she streached, waking. The movement made her hammock sway lightly, causing her to giggle. She hopped down, pressing against the wall of her room. She listened to the stillness, felt the cold metal though the thin material of her robe. Letting out a pleasured sigh, she bounced, turned and quickly dress. Slipping into a pair if cargo pants and replacing her robe with a skin tight shirt, she gracefully moved to the kitchen. The hummed as she set coffee to brew. The captain would be awake being this close to the alliance. His wife would be awake, because what self respecting woman would sleep with her man on edge. She continued to hum as she poured 3cups and moving to the bridge. She knocked. "Cap, can the Jericho come out to play?" Her voice was soft and sweet. She always treated the captain as the father of her new boyfriend.

Jean took another sip of whiskey when Miria spoke. "You know how I feel about ISA," he said quietly, as if everyone in the ship would here him if he didn't. He placed the hand Miria was holding on her hip, as if to both keep her from falling off his lap, and to serve on some level as a blanket. After a few minutes rolled by, he took another sip of his drink and turned around a little when he heard knocking on the door. "Sparky, why don't you come on in," he said softly to her. He turned his attention to the window again, keeping a watchful eye on the planet just outside.
    "I aim to misbehave."

She paused, considering, then opened the door. Smiling brightly when she saw she was right. "I didn't want to walk in on anything. That would be horribly rude" though being a pilot brought out the little girl in her, she still held her companion grace and manors as she handed the couple the coffee she made for them

(Meanwhile, back on the other side...)

Waiting on the outskirts of Altori's booming cityscape, layers and layers of abandoned or wrecked spaceship parts inside one of Altori's largest scrapyards. It was the perfect cover to pickup goods since older model freights constantly drop off metal scrap and wrecked ships. Paying off whatever little Alliance eyes guarded the place helped as well. A small wrecked cargo shuttle hid the contents of ten 3'x2' cases holding 50 alliance circuitboards per case, naturally unmarked and completely sealed as insurance. That way there would be no possible way to tamper with the cargo and get away with it.

"Once my contact comes with their ship, they will load up the wrecked shuttle with no knowledge of the inside contents. They will transport the unit to one of many alliance absent drop points and cordinance of the drop point will be sent once payment has been established." Rin said to the overweight and retired general. "But how do I know you won't leave with my goods AND my money?" General Jacob Monroe said. Rin handed him a small remote with a red button. "This is the detonator for an explosive device inside one of these cases. Even I don't know which one it is in. If we leave without delivering the goods, feel free to press this button. All the cargo will be destroyed and so will the ship." Rin smiled in confidence. "It is also useful if by chance you get caught with alliance goods. Once they load up the EVEDINCE on their ship.... Boom! No more evidence!" Rin said with confidence. "Now all we do is play the waiting game for my contact to arrive..." Rin said as he put yet another cigarette in his mouth. Resting his left hand on his sheathed katana while his right hand held his briefcase with "payment" inside.

Jean smiled a bit, taking a sip from his whiskey, as Sparky walked in. He politely turned down the coffee, knowing that it'll keep him up the rest of the twelve hours, and that wouldn't do. Especially if he had captainy things to do in about eight or so. "How come you ain't asleep?" he asked. "You know we got a big day ahead of us. And I will admit, I've been pushin' all of you lately, you could all use a break, even if it is a small one."
    "I aim to misbehave."
