Modern: The God Wars
Role Players assume the role of Human beings who have been given extreme power(s), on par with the gods that pagans worship. Worshipers and followers give power over to the player characters. Meanwhile, there still might exist an omnipotent, sole God in the universe, but if you don't know if he's there or not by the time you have Ascended, you still don't, not even after you have become a "god/ddess".

The Plot of the RP will involve the Vatican, Mecca, and the Dome of the Rock, my personal beliefs don't play much of a role in the plot of this role play, I only have this plot in the setting because it interests me.

Appearance: (Picture image preferred. Also, height, eyes, hair, weight, distinguishing features,etcetera).
Bio: (Keep it simple. Say, 16+ sentences are fine).
Abilities/Skilllevel/Education: Your abilities, skill level and education BEFORE you ascended.
Domain(s): In Scion, these are called "Purviews", In Dungeons and Dragons these may be called (Domains) Or even Portfolios: What Domains are, are the pure essence of your magical powers. Zeus'es Domain would be lighting. Odin's would be War, Ra's would be the Sun, Aphrodite would be Love, etcetera etcetera. DO NOT MAKE THESE TOO ABSTRACT. Abstract domains are fine and even encouraged, but don't go overboard. For example, the "Love" domain is a fine abstract Domain. But "Boundaries" is TOO abstract, too weird and awkward for me to GM appropriately.) Domains don't necessarily have to be Ancient or Natural, for example, a Deity of modern things, like Computers are fine.
Reputation: (At least a paragraph).

The year is 2016. The Economic Crisis has finally subsided completely. It's back to the Golden Age of the 90's 20+ years earlier, as far as Americans are concerned. By some literal miracle, Israel and Hamas/Palistinian issue has been temporarily on hold, and it's likely that due to some behind the scenes dirty work, that the world is safe from a nuclear outbreak. The world has been unusually peaceful for the past couple of years, and the Vatican's new Pope, Pope Joseph has managed to purge much of perceived Catholic corruption in the Church and cracked down hard on various scandals, managing to revive the Church'es reputation, at least in part.
