The dream of many pokemon trainers. It's the reason young men and women leave the comforts of home to brave the harsh environments, climb the highest mountains, and explore the ominous caves of the regions. There are hundreds maybe even thousands of trainers roaming the wilderness of the world of pokemon attempting to achieve this dream. But, only a few have earned the titte of prodigy through battle. These select few have shown a tremendous amount of talent even though they've just begun their incredibly long journey. Sebastian Creed is holding a tournament on his personal island and has recognized you as one of these prodigies. You are cordially invited to this momentous occasion. This is your opportunity to show the world that you are a cut above the rest. This is the chance to prove to the world that you are the future of this sport.

The Rules:

-All Forum rules apply ( no godmodding etc...)
- I am GM my word is law(Don't worry I'm extremely fair)
-I'm not to strict when it comes to profanity but, keep it pg-13
-we will each have 3 pokemon
-The highest they can be is evolution 2 (I'm going to be a little strict when it comes to pokemon with only two evolutions like Arcanine and Rapidash when in doubt just ask)
-You can have up to, two evolution 2 pokemon
-As the Rp goes on opponents will get harder treat it as such(I'll let you know)
-No owning legendary pokemon

-We'll most likely have a posting order just to be safe. If not wait until everyone posts before you post again.
-If you go inactive for too long we'll move on without you.
-If I go inactive for too long I give Pestolance permission to take over the rp as GM

.:Equipment: Trainer belt, back pack, pokegear, and a couple potions, an ether, and lots of berries. He also in his four years as a trainer collected many hms and tms.

.:Time as a trainer: Four years.

.: Personality: He is quite unambitious. He doesn't have the drive to do great or believe that it is even worth it. He is almost always in a generally positive mood and is a very goofy and helpful guy. He often comes across younger trainers that he kind of helps out and mentors them a little bit. He also is in a way enlightened, he sees thing very clearly and treats everything that way he is in no hurry to go anywhere in life.

.:Strength as a trainer: Its his ability to never get frantic because he doesn't worry about losing. So he can remain calm and collect all the information one could with a clear as day mind.

.:Flaw as a trainer: Its his unambitious personality, since he doesn't worry about becoming better or anything he just goes along with how he battles, he doesn't really train he will adjust his strategy during battle though.

.:Breif Bio: There isn't much outstanding about Chester, he is smarter than other people but not by too much. He started his pokemon journey at 12 years old, he started out with a young shiny Deino he was given as an egg from a professor passing through town. This prompted him to leave the house and so he did, there wasn't much of a goal though. He enjoyed the traveling and it help him see things clearer then ever before that was why he stayed a trainer. Lately he had been battling more often, just kind of happened that way, and he stood out leading up to him being invited to the island.

.:Equipment: A standard blue pokemon trainer belt and a blue backpack with white trimming that holds 3 potions incase his pokemon get injured on the road.

.:Time as a trainer:2 years

.: personality: He is a very fast paced and hot headed individual. He is very energetic, a bit over confident, and impulsive. He is friendly but, can't accept that fact that sometime even he needs help and that sometimes that gets in the way of friendships. It's not shown at first glance but, he is very ambition, persistent, courageous, and strong willed.

.:Strength as a trainer: He has a quick eye in battle that allows him to see openings in fast paced battles.

.:Flaw as a trainer: While winning he becomes very impulsive and has his Pokemon attack recklessly which leaves him susceptible to traps.

.:Breif Bio: James grew up in the loud fast paced city of Goldenrod of the johto region. He was the stereotypical city boy. He like loud music, flashy cloths, and being the center of attention. He never really had any intrest in leaving the big city. His dad us to talk about his old days of being a pokemon trainer and tried to convince Jamed to follow in his foot steps but James always replied with the same answer"If an old country boy like you dad couldn't cut it as an elite trainer, what would make you think a city boy like me ever would?" And his attitude continued to stay that day until one day after coming home after a night on the town James saw a pokeball on his bed. With a note from his father under it he really didn't take the time to read the note he just crumpled it up and placed the pokeball on the floor. The next morning when he got up and accidentally kicked the pokeball releasing the pokemon inside. To his surprise a bulbasaur was released from the ball. A grass pokemon wasn't really his style. The bulbasaur sat looking up at James. James only replied with a "What are you looking at Spud?" referring to the stubby bulb on the pokemons back. He then went down to the living room with Spud following close behind him. After sitting in the livingroom for hours James's dad finally forced him to take Spud to the near by woods for some fresh air. There is where he ran into a newbie trainer and his rattata. Shortly after they met a battle took place James had the most intense rush that he has ever had. After wining the battle he instantly fell in love with the dream of being a pokemon trainer.

Besides Pokemon, his passion is his little sister who he had promised he would come back when she was ready to become a trainer herself.
.:Strength as a trainer: He never stops believing in the power of his own Pokemon, If one of his Pokemon is injured and unable to move, he wouldn't hesitate to protect them from further harm, this also applies to people who are his friends.
