    Assassin's Creed 3: A Revolution

The Colonies promised a new start, a clean slate. Everyone saw potential and opportunity in this new world. While life sounded great and merry, in reality, it was much more grim. Redcoats hung around every corner, ready to chastise and punish you if they thought you looked funny. Around here, they were calling the shots. Your life was controlled often because of the British crown.

What most colonists didn't know, was that the British were not the only ones seeking control and order. The Templars, an ancient order, also sought to have power. They saw the new start of the colonies as a great opportunity to rise to power, and so they took action. Day by day, Templars were at work, working towards their goal of control and peace.

Another ancient faction, the Assassins, also existed. They, like the Templars, worked for peace; but in a different way. They saw peace through freedom and liberty; to know true freedom was to live. The Assassins and the Templars had been enemies for centuries, so naturally, the war between them carries on. The Assassins were always working in the shadows, to serve the light. They fought against the Templars for the civilians of the colonies.

In this role play, you can choose to be either Templar, or Assassin. You don't necessarily have to be an original character either; I think it'd be entertaining if we had a Connor, Haytham, or even Charles Lee. This role play isn't strictly about fighting all the time though; you can roam through the Homestead, or the Frontier, or play a game of Checkers in the Green Dragon. We don't have to follow the timeline events of the game. Things can unexpectedly change at your will. The fate of this Revolution, is in your hands.

    Rules

1.) A nice-sized paragraph is expected, with acceptable grammar. It is understandable if you hit writer's block and can't type one out, just please don't make it a regular habit.
2.) No godmodding, or controlling another person's character without their consent.
3.) There is no particular post order, but give people a time to post before a one-on-one sort of deal happens.
4.) Romances are encouraged, but if you feel things need to get a bit more explicit, please take it to PM.
5.) Cursing is allowed, just don't let it spoil your posts. (etc. F*** this f***ing b*** blah f*** blah f*** blah). No one enjoys reading that. Seriously.

    My character:

    Name: Adelia LaRochelle

    Age: 22

    Affiliation: Assassin

    Appearance:
Adelia, being from Montreal, France, has light blonde wavy hair and gray eyes. Her complexion is light, and she has high cheekbones and heart shaped lips. She has a 3” scar on her left temple near her eyebrow. Standing at around 5'6, she has an athletic but slender build. Her French accent is very faint, but there is still a trace of it. Her assassin's robes are black with red accents, as well as black lace lining the hood and cuffs. Adelia has knee high-leather boots, and she always wears a short necklace that has a little flower charm on it.

    Personality:
Adelia is a person to laugh easily, almost always in a lighthearted mood when she's not on assassination missions. She realizes that because her lifestyle is a very dangerous one, and any day could be her last, she tries to make them the best she can. When she's in a bad mood or tired, she becomes irritable. Also, Adelia severely lacks patience, and frustrates easily, which in turn can weaken her. When fighting for her cause, she displays an alter-ego—she becomes aggressive and sometimes ruthless.

    Biography:
Adelia was born in France, and raised there by her father, Augustus, and her mother, Celine. She had an older sister who was 6 years older than she, who was named Jacqueline. It was a peaceful life in France, the income steady enough to provide a nice manor and food on the table. Her father worked two jobs to keep life at this comfortable pace. The first ob was as a carpenter, and he worked at his shop from 8 to 6. The job played well, and he was respected among the other townspeople. His other job, was working as an assassin.
Being an assassin, there was always a risk. There was always a risk that Augustus would be fatally wounded, or God forbid, his family threatened. When there was a huge increase of Templar appearances in his town, Augustus told his family it was time to pack up and go in an effort to protect them. Celine, knowing of his occupation, hadn't concurred with him even though she was in the middle of a pregnancy. Within the next few days, the family had boarded a ship en route to America. The journey was long and tedious, and Adelia's mother wasn't doing too well. The constant rocking of the ship combined with morning sickness called for constant bouts of nausea and vomit. A week within the journey, Adelia's mother, as well as her unborn sibling, passed away. Adelia was only 3 years old during this period, and has never really gotten to know her mother. Nonetheless, she cried with the remainder of her family until they reached America.
They settled in the frontier, their father opening a small carpentry shop just like in France. He locked all of his assassin equipment in a chest, and retired from that lifestyle. He blamed his wife's death on himself, and wanted wanted to inflict no more harm upon his family. Adelia had taken up the hobby of climbing trees and Augustus was aware of her skill. Eventually he would have to tell her of her assassin heritage, even if he didn't want to. That day came when Adelia was 14. Her sister, who was 20, had been picking berries in the forest when Redcoats found her and accused her of being a spy. They proceeded to violate her and murder her. When news came to the LaRochelle family, Adelia wanted to seek revenge. To kill the men who had been so cruel. Augustus realized that he had to tell her of his true former occupation.
When Adelia found out that being an assassin was in her blood, she immediately wanted to follow suit. Of course, Augustus said no, wanting to keep her safe. After all that was taken away from him, he couldn't risk her heading into such a dangerous lifestyle. Adelia, infuriated with his decision, walked out on him. For about 6 days she lived off the land to cool down, and hoped her father had changed his mind. He had, for when she returned he agreed to at least train her so she could have self defense. By the time she was 18, Adelia had inherited her hidden blade, and was out on missions. She had become part of the Brotherhood.
