What started his ascension was a tome. Looking for kindling, he has found many books before, and never bothered to know their contents. But upon obtaining this tome, he discovered ideals and realities that are so far unknown to his current world. He wanted to be the first to discover them, to show everyone what he knew. He wanted the glory and the power that came with being one of the most knowledgeably people of the world they lived in. And not through magic or faith. But Science. To give power to the powerless, he desires to make ways for those without familiars or powerful spirits to become a threat to those with powerful spirits. To even one day slay the gods.

Personality Almost similar to Louis own, to the point that sometimes it is confusing when it's Louis or Arakune speaking.

Gender Presumably male, since that's what Arakune refereed to himself as.

Spiritualism
Arakune can manifest into the physical world through Louis, and being an amorphous blob, is more of a threat in a fight then one might think. However, it prefers to be sneaky rather then being brutish, not to say it won't play up it's own appearance for intimidation if the situation warrants it.

Ability

Currently, Arakune is able to become invisible, and it only works on mortal and warlocks. Familiar will see him just fine. Another ability of his is to be able to understand the contents of any written language he comes into contact with without even having to open the book or look at the pages. This knowledge is shared with Lucy, but only when he is asleep.

Miscellaneous Louis and Arakune fight independently, meaning that they hardly ever are in sync with each other in the heat of battle. It doesn't help that Arakune likes to disappear in the middle of battle and Lucy's weapon of choice are explosives. They are also currently working on various projects to improve the lives of the people, from discovering alternate forms of energy to creating new medicines. Arakune does his own projects too, mostly manufacturing.

Both Lucius and Greengoat need to clarify Spiritualism more. It is used too vaguely to describe why your characters are Touched, but barely a sentence about their Spirit (Spirit as in their values) and their Vitum. I don't ask for much, but just enough for application.

Personally, Lucius, I'm going to add a section for personality for the main character. I'm probably just going to revamp the CS. I won't make you do a new one, but the point is that you separate out Spiritualism and those values. It's not exactly clear in yours.

Lastly, your Ability is mostly a utility. Before you finalize the character, it's kinda important you think through your lack of combat applicable abilities. Your choice, I just know it will be an issue later. If it's an issue you like, though, no problem in the world!!

Well, before I revamp my own CS, I do have some questions since I am confused.

This Spiritualism, is this sort of like beliefs or something? Not like personality beliefs, but things like dreams, goals, etc? Or is it just about how they came into gaining their abilities? I'm not very sure how I am too go about this section, so I'd like clarification. An Example would be even better.

Another thing is that I don't really like filling out personalities, since he might change during the course of the RP. Plus, I never like confining my characters to a set mold and let them flesh out as appropriate. They have their quirks, sure, but I just don't want to say that he's prone to lying and in the RP does nothing but honest communication. So would it be okay if i just omit that part as well?

As for the combat abilities, I never said that Louis or Arakune aren't good fighters, they just go about it differently. Lucy wants to make is so that even people without familiars can still harm those with familiar and familiars themselves. That, and a copious amount of explosions tend to kill everything when you use enough of it. And it's not like I expect to fight and kill everyone I meet; sometimes it's good to have an ability that can be used in more then just one situation. Though if I may be so bold, could I improve it slightly so that it does have more use in battle?

If you looked to our CS's you will see a example of Spiritualism in work.

Its more or less your unique connection to Spiritualism. Such as Red has a VERY strong connection to her spirit while Malak can speak to the dead.

Also I am going to add a little more detail to red. She will stay the same and all though.

Character templates will reflect the beginning of the roleplay, and nothing more. They merely solidify the starting point.

Personality exists so that you can show us the dynamics of your Warlock and Wraith. It does not need to be anything more and it is not meant to be confining. More or less, don't worry about being real specific, just try to explain why your Warlock and Wraith were paired up.

Spiritualism is exactly how it is described in the roleplay explanation. It is comprised of the three elements: Spirit, Familiar and Vitum. The Spiritualism portion of the CS exists so that you can format how your character will work on a basic level to the system described. It's not really that complex, but it is the guiding principles of the RP.

If you want to up your Ability, go ahead. I would actually try to create a "core" ability to branch out multiple useful utilities while still having some core combat roles. Lets say, Arcane. But, let's say you come up against another Familiar who has an Arcane ability that is purely combat. Because will easily be outpowered. But, fighting isn't all about power.
