[Beginnings]

Continuation of a Plot Line from Worlds Collide

Shutting her eyes from the bright explosion that threatened to burn out her retinas even through the canopy of the screen, Felia did her best to not throw the thruster forward once again. "Alright. For whatever reason they've destroyed their own defenses. We should be in the clear to approach the anomaly." Once it was safe, she glanced back out, looking for any visual indication of the sought-after anomaly. "Still nothing. We should start to approach the other moon, just to make sure." Looking back at her cargo, she asked, "Is that acceptable to you all?"

[Sonanoka]

Luna: Yeah, that's fine by me.

Sunny: I can't wait to celebrate our win! *giggles*

Star: Yeah, that'll be nice! Been awhile since we last got drunk!

[Beginnings]

She shook her head. "We did not win anything. We just survived." A small laugh passed her lips. "Besides, I highly doubit will be that simple, even if we do return relatively soon." With that, she hit the thrusters once more, sending them flying through space. Her hand on the joystick lightly twitched, bringing it back into a straight heading. "Minimal rotation along every axis. Good. Initiating scan as we approach high orbit over the two moons."

[Sonanoka]

Sunny: Party pooper...

[Beginnings]

The ship floats along, actively scanning for the anomaly. "It's kinda funny, isn't it?" Felia's eyes darted over the console as she spoke. "I expected there to be more of a response. The initial volley, and then nothing. Much less whomever is living on the second moon." She looked up at what appeared to be a barren surface above her. "What could they be thinking?"

[Sonanoka]

Luna: It is strange that they even did that much, actually. They seemed like the cocky type that underestimates you, and then wonders why they have been defeated. *shrugs*

[Beginnings]

Humming to herself, she shrugged. "Who truly knows? Although I will admit that they were extremely sluggish in their performance." As she spun around the moon once more, her sensors began to blare. "It seems that we're coming up on the target shortly. Let's go and see if we can trigger it, shall we?"

[Sonanoka]

Luna: ...You mean the hole thing? It reminds me of a gap, but... not.

[Beginnings]

She shook her head as they stopped a few miles from it. "It's not exactly a hole, at least not in that sense." She looked at it carefully, biting her lip. "It could take an excitement along one of the various energy spectrums to even get it working. That is assuming that I came through it, as it certainly doesn't appear to be some kind of black hole, white hole, or wormhole."

[Sonanoka]

Luna: Well, wouldn't a blackhole be... pretty bad?
