Vampires v. Humans OOC

Note: This is not my idea, I am simply carrying out the OOC and IC due to the GM dropping out.

Plot Idea:
Alright, so for this one, I'm imagining that at one point and time these two races were actually getting along..well, at least stomaching each other enough to keep things civil between the both of them. Of course things were still tense between the two of them but neither of the races had ever acted upon their impulses thanks to the two officials, one from each side, that had come together and established a set of laws for both races to abide by so that they could coexist peacefully. Well, laws are made to be broken, and that is exactly what happened one fateful day. A vampire savagely murdered a child in the after hours of the night, mistaking it for a fully capable adult, and when the townspeople learned of the news, that is when all hell broke loose. Before I even continue, let me explain how this plays into everything turning chaotic. One of the rules between the two races states that vampires cannot come out to feed until a certain time of the evening has begun, which was usually a time when all the children were tucked away and fast asleep, leaving only a few wandering adult humans left around town, which were considered to be able to defend themselves if needed, and should have been smart enough to go home when the curfew hit. Anyway, it is against the law to feed off a child, due to how incapable they are of defending themselves, so when the vampire ravages them, merely by accident, this is when the all out war begins to ensue. Now, with any war, I imagine that there will be traitors on both sides, secret scandals between the officials, and maybe even some secret romances. This is something that I would actually encourage because well, I'm just a big fan of drama. Anyway, if interested, drop a line below! Look forward to roleplaying with you!

Before people start filling out CS's we should establish the time period and other important stuff. I think it should be modern. Not that my opinion itself determines it! If it's a military war, I think the humans should have ranks, but if not then no. I just don't see it. The vampires, however, should have a few ranks if we're talking dracula vampires. If not, no. It's all up to you and the others. As for the age of the child, it should be somewhere between 13-17 because it has to be a teen for him/her to be miataken for an adult. Or maybe the vampire just disregarded it. Your choice. The rules really don't matter since it is a war, but it's up to you. A good curfew could be midnight, or 1 A.M. The IC could be named The Breaking Point I guess. I'm not too good at naming things. So, yeah...

◾Super Strength: Vampires are much stronger than humans and grow stronger with time. Even new vampires who are still in transition can toss a fully grown human across a room with great speed and force. Their strength is also more powerful then werewolves that are not in wolf form.
◾Super Speed: Vampires can accelerate their movements to cover short distances in an instant, faster than the human eye can see. When running across long distances, they appear as vibrating blurs of motion.
◾Emotional Control: The supernatural ability to control and manipulate the emotions of one's self.
◾Dream Manipulation: Vampires can control dreams and subconscious. The vampires can produce and modify dreams, bestow nightmares or lucid dreaming. Other effects of this ability is the distortion of reality and trapped in the dreams.
◾Heightened Senses: This includes super sight, super hearing, touch, taste, smell. They can hear whispered conversations, even ones in far off buildings, smell blood, and see in total darkness.
◾Mind Compulsion: Vampires have the ability to control minds, plague people's dreams, and alter/erase human memories.
◾Immortality: A vampire stops aging once turned. Upon their transformation, vampires then on become immune to all conventional illness, disease, virus and infection. The only known disease or infection that can kill a vampire is a werewolf bite.
◾Healing Factor: Vampires can snap their finger bones back into place after being broken and have been seen to fully recover from gunshots, stab wounds, and torso impalement.
◾Lapis Lazuli: She possesses a Lapis Lazuli ring that enables him to walk in daylight without being harmed.
Weaknesses:
◾Vervain causes extreme pain and can kill vampires by burning them
◾the special vampire dagger dipped in the ancient one of a kind white oak ash (hard to find) it kills her
◾normal wood harms her to the point of extreme pain but can not kill unless she has been weakened by Varvain or lack of blood.
◾Fire is extremely dangerous
◾If they get no blood they become weakened to the state they are like humans
Skills: Extremely Flexible, Extremely Agile, and skilled in hand to hand combat.

I think the vampire is a little to OP for my taste...this is what kills RPs quickly, is too powerful characters and not enough weaknesses. I was pumped up for this RP, but after looking at that character..I am having second thoughts.

Personality: Relaxed, Humorous, Discreet
Strengths:
*Intellect - Aaron began talking a week after his first birthday, and began reading at three. He was also playing video games and tinkering with technology at a young age.
*Superior Technology - Aaron has creates his own technology in order the always have the best equipment in order to defend himself from the vampires.
*Physical Fitness - Aaron has a high metabolism so it isn't difficult for him to burn off that fat and gain muscle. Twice a week when he isn't focusing on his craft, he is at the gym. He finds it as a great place to think, and to get fit as well. Who needs a library anyways? He isn't as powerful as the vampires, but he can hold his own. He is pretty fast, but nowhere near the vampire's "flashstep". He has a high cardio, and is very sturdy.
*Hacking Skills - Aaron has managed to hack the national firewall and has access to almost evetything electronic in the whole country. Street lights, Power grids, phones, you name it. He can determine a spouce, job, date of birth and more from just tapping into a cell phone.
Weaknesses:
*Electronic Dependence - Aaron does a large part of his technologic manipulation from his cell phone. He has installed a small computer-like console inside of his watch and a holograph projector in his glasses. (Think Heavy Rain.) If those are broken or lost, he can repair them or build new ones, but it's gonna take time and a couple of scraps.
Bio: Aaron came from a middle class family who gave him whatever his little heart desired. He soon gained a fancy for technology. He began taking things apart, putting them together, and soon, making them better. He grew older and so did technology. He became even smarter, surpassing ones older than him. He began getting metals and wires from his parents and he began creating his own equipment. But then, that child died..and that had done it. It threw society to the wind. And it drove him to make the best he could.
Items: Retractable Electric Staff - It's a steel staff with iron rivets on the end conduct electricity with higher charges than military issue tazers.
*Power Glove - A black leather glove with microtransmitter on them that unleash a deadly charge with every strike. Combined with Aaron's mediocre strength, it can be a powerful combination.
*"Tec" Knife: A combat knife dipped in titanium to pierce the vampire's thick skin. It builds electricty from kinetic energy such as a simple slash.
*"Striker" - A 9mm pistol that has a oil encoated barrel so that the bullets fired are...well, on fire.
*Holographic Glasses - His glasses take reality and take it to a whole another level. It gauges his health, and uses sound waves to detect any danger before he can be harmed. It can alao create a false reality, placing a holographic film over the actual land.
Crush: None yet... :3

So, I agree with the vampires being nerfed. I think maybe they gradually lose their power due to them having to stop feeding as often or something.

So, you might just have to trim the powers down a bit, just so no one else is uncomfortable and what not. I don't want people complaining about one character being too powerful and etc. She's a very nice character though..but uhh, yeah, might have to change that CS a little bit. :/
