I know this is a bit of a stretch, but what about a minecraft rp? I've tried rping on my Elgard server on minecraft...it's just not the same. What do you guys say we just do a minecraft rp? And I even have some of it planned out. We have two options for how to go about this...
Realism Roleplay: We are in the minecraft world, but everything is put in a more "realistic setting". Nothing is blocky, it's as it would be in real life. Even the characters. We'll be normal humans, fighting differently styles monsters, building with non-blocky wooden planks.
"Classic" Roleplay: We are in the minecraft, and everything is exactly the same as in-game. The only difference is a lack of visual aids and other such things that come with roleplaying on here.
I don't have a plot, but that's the beauty of it: We build it by being in a sandbox kinda thing. So, who's interested?

I would be all for the server idea, but sadly, I cannot port forward and very few people know how. If you ever tried to set up a fully-blown server, you'd know what I was talking about.
And I think your right. Classic could turn out badly... Well, now that we have some people, I'll go make the OOC. It only takes a few people to make something big, I always say. ^^

Yeah, port forwarding is hard. I only just figured out how to make my own Tekkit server and finally got it up for everyone to use. Doesn't help I have a Mac so just getting the files working was annoying. Bloody Terminal...
Anyway, are you planning for this to be solely Minecraft or would you consider adding mods packs (Like Tekkit, for example) to it?
