How long do you think Pope Francis will rule?

When I saw Pope Francis today, I thought. "He's going to rule a short time". Normally when I think something like this I am normally right, I can sense when something is wrong and what people are like by their energies they give off. When I saw the guy I didn't see him ruling long, I couldn't sense he'd be a long ruler.

How long do you think he'll rule for?

My guess is 2-3 years before he retires or dies.

(This guy has kind if bad health problems and he's 76 years old)

I like him. He seems cool.

I wanted the black guy to win, though.

Pope John Paul was 55 when elected and that's young for pope standards. They also elect older men because they have more expierence, but when they vote old. The old guys are always conservative and don't like a lot of change. Which is funny because this new guy says he's conservative and for the people.

This guy won't be America's favorite person I don't think, because he isn't fluent in English.

Most popes are fluent in like seven languages:

They tend to be English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Latin, and some odd language like Portuguese.

Here's the thing though, Francis can only speak:

Italian, Spanish, Latin, and German fluently. He can't speak English fluently. (Sentance is a LIE)

Part of the reason is a dogmatic rule within the church called 'papal infallibility'. This basically means that the Pope can never be wrong due to some divine intervention or some bullshit like that [also, before you ask, yes, I'm Catholic]. Now, if the Pope declares something categorically retarded, the one shining hope in the eyes of all sensible Catholics is that he will die soon, and that the next Pope will reverse/revoke/whatever that something was immediately.

    Yeah, I love papal infallibility.

(Also he's fluent in Spanish, Italian, and German. Not Latin)

It's dogmatic, so of course it's going to seem that way. I guess I can take some form of consolation in the fact that it's never been used in recent history to declare a crusade or something to that effect.
