An Interest Check
We begin as a group of people, all of whom have been sucked into the generic fantasy land of Meath. While you have no memory of your "rl" life, neither do you have memories of your Meath avatar. You are the fantasy character you created, but have no history, you are-to an extent-a blank slate. However, you do show proficiencies in several skills, all of which you mysteriously know how to perform-be it swordplay or magic or the like.
Now trapped in a world your character can't fully understand or grasp, you are hurled on a grand quest to retrieve the Diamond Orb. What is the Diamond Orb and it's significance? Only time can tell.
The Guidelines
- Advanced Standards: Please be able to write coherent English, as well as post at least 3 paragraphs. The three paragraphs should move the plot along and include actions, thoughts/description, and dialog if required.
- This is meant to be a light-hearted tale, heavily character oriented, and a player co-created world. I've set up the basics, we'll fill it in together.
- Have fun.
- Be nice.
- Death will happen. But don't worry, we're in a game universe. Death will cause you to respawn in town, although without any belongings on you. You'll have to retrieve those from the Temple (each city/town has one).
- No undead-be it lich, vampire or the like. No were-[insert animal]. Only the listed races (Human, Dwarf, Drow, High Elf, "Halfbreeds" [any mix of the previous races listed]) are playable. Feel there should be something else allowed? PM me and we'll discuss it there.
