Welcome to Litus Academy, home of the Lions! I will be your tour guide this afternoon to show you around the campus. We hope you will enjoy your high school experience at this prestigious and luxurious school and we thank you for coming.

First, I want to give you some of the rules: (you don't necessarily 'have' to follow these)

1. Dress appropriately.
2. Get to class on time.
3. Treat others with respect.
4. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited.
5. Have fun! Enjoy yourself!

Next, I want you all to take a look at the campus map.

Now allow me to explain to map.
A represents the Main Building of the campus. It contains important administrative and financial offices, as well as the school infirmary. You shouldn't be spending too much time here except for simply passing by.

B is the 24-hour cafeteria where you may buy food. You can sit inside or outside.

C is the Student Lounge (since there aren't any in the dorms). Inside are couches, TVs, vending machines, and pool tables.

D is the theater. It is used for musical/play productions and for indoor assemblies.

E is the multipurpose athletics field and track. It is used for outdoor assemblies and pep rallies.

F is the Fountain. Some students like to hang here and sit around since it's far away from the usual bustle of the school.

G is the Gazebo. You can eat here... hang here... you know.

H is the school library. You may rent books from here and also study or work here in quiet. Some computers are available for use in the back.

I is an indoor gym.

J is an open courtyard where students can also hang, sit on benches, etc.

Numbered buildings are mostly academic classrooms, with a few exceptions: 1 is contains boy/girl locker rooms as well as a weight-lifting area, and 4 is the teacher's lounge. Buildings 2 and 4 are multipurpose and can be used for a number of classes throughout the day.

Buildings 5-7 are English classes.

Buildings 8-10 are Health/Nursing and Fitness classes.

Buildings 11-13 are Math classes.

Buildings 14-16 are Social Studies classes.

Buildings 17-19 are Foreign Language classes.

Buildings 20-22 are Science classes.

Buildings 23-25 are also multipurpose and are used for a number of difference, elective classes.

The first dorm building is Murex Hall, the second is Cassis Hall, and the third is Sidus Hall. Most dorms are shared with one other person. They have two beds, a bathroom, a couch, a TV, and a small kitchen with a mini fridge.

Don't forget, the beach is only a short walk away from the campus! Lots of students go there on the weekends and after school.

Hey everyone, and welcome to my OOC. I kinda wrote this up in a hurry, but hopefully this all makes sense to you. First, let me give you the 'actual' rules for the RP.

1. Drugs/alcohol are allowed. Just don't get caught.
2. Romance is allowed and encouraged, but I beg of you keep the sex to PMs.
3. I personally am fine with an sort of profanities.
4. Respect others' boundaries.
5. No spamming.
6. No flamming.
7. Use common sense.

All right. Now that that's out of the way, let me just add that I don't really intend to have a storyline nor do I intend on having the powers you receive complicate the real-life factor of the roleplay. Your powers should be subtle enough not to explode the school or destroy the campus. Use common sense with the powers; don't kill other people just for fun. There have been many rumors already about the inhabitants of Murex Hall, though the staff has repeatedly ignored the subject, so don't worry about other students seeing you do the powers. Just try not to juggle fire balls in the middle of class or something.

Also, I want your opinion on something. Should I create a class list? I honestly don't think we'll be doing a lot of roleplaying in actual classes, mostly between them, and before and after school. You could just make up which class you came from. But what do you all think?

Personality: Likes to be the funny guy. He is a nerdy kind of guy. He is laid back about most things, generally a calm kind of person. He is also kind of childish in ways.

Short History: Not much of an exciting life. Just the normal mid-sized town family. He was always a happy, energetic, polite kid. When he turned 6 he found out that his dad was not his real dad, this caused a bit of pulling away and rebelling towards his family. As he grew older, he and his father never got close like they used to be but they almost made it. Year later he has accepted this and many of lives truth's so he tends not to worry much about things.
He was always drawn to being outdoors as a kid and he at 12 learned why, at first when he got his powers he could only talk with the trees and other life. As he got older he learned of the extent of his powers. He only had them a few years before going to school since he left at 14 years old.

Power: Power to control plants.
He is actually part plant mass. This causes things like if he were to get hurt, to heal at a faster rate due to the plant material.
He cant create plants of out nowhere, he needs seeds or some existing plant already. So he usually carries a bag of seeds with him.


Likes: Comic books, Video Games, Anime, Italian Pasta type dishes, Green, nature, being green, art
Dislikes: Work, when people worry too much, when people hate on nerds, Mexican food,

He is usually wearing a white tanktop and the bermuda shorts, with a floral pattern, much like a stereotypical tourist would.
Personality: He's very chill, slow to anger, and enjoys living while he can. He will protect the underdogs, and hate's fighting.

Short History: Xane grew up at the beach where the school was, just a lot farther away from it. He grew up to a rich father and a poor mother, who fell in love. They bought a nice built beach house, and had Xane shortly. The dad was never around, leaving Xane to his mother, so Xane knows how to cook and clean. When Xane hit middle school, his friends took up surfing, so now Xane surfs, and truly loves it. Shortly after Jr. High, his father pulled him out of school and sent him here.

Power: Xane's power is he releases phermones ( Basically natural gasses that affect moods.) In the air rather constantly and an advanced dose. So he tends to make people that are around him calm, he can control what mood they get in, but not turning his power on and off, for example, he can make someone extremely mad, but can't stop his powers.

Likes:Surfing, food, music, hanging out with friends.
Dislikes:Fights, yelling, and bullies.
Hobbies:surfing, button collecting, and sock repairing.
Other:The key to Xane's heart is through your manners, kindness, and his stomach.

Alex wears usually a purple T-Shirt with a pair of purple Gym shorts almost everywhere. She stands around 5'8" and around 117 pounds.

Personality: Her personality is more on the laid back and relaxed side of things. Some issues in her past have led to her being slightly unpredicatble and at some points in the future may show signs of insanity. All together her standing on everything on a normal day is just to enjoy life and relax.

Short History: Alex had realized at a young age of her gift and had begun to experiment with at around the age of 10. Having experimented heavily with it something horrible couldn't be to far off to teach her that maybe she needed guidance rather than just going around changing things. One day when she was 13 she attempted to use her abilities to bring her brother back to life after he had died and what came out of it had scarred her mind for the rest of her life. Her parents never knew but had sense the sudden change in her mindset and had decided to send her to a school where she may be able to relax and not have to worry about her powers any longer.

Power: Alchemy But think of it more on the side of an actual Power. (Think Full Metal Alchemist) Basically she can create a sand castle by touching the ground and thinking of what she wants to make. It will happen the but sand surrounding her will all shoot out of the ground in front of her and take the shape of the sand castle leaving a small area with no sand around her. It requires equivalent exchange to make something with 1KG of weight it takes 1KG of weight in resources to make it.
Alchemy (錬金術 Renkinjutsu) is, as it is understood in the Fullmetal Alchemist series, the ancient metaphysical science/mystical art of manipulating and altering matter by using natural energy. This act is known as "Transmutation" and its sequence is usually described as:

Comprehension - Understanding the inherent structure and properties of the atomic or molecular makeup of a particular material to be transmuted, including the flow and balance of potential and kinetic energy within.
Deconstruction - Using energy to break down the physical structure of the identified material into a more malleable state so as to be easily reshaped into a new form.
Reconstruction - Continuing the flow of energy so as to reform the material into a new shape.

The proper application of this craft requires not only a full understanding of chemistry and ancient alchemical theory, but also a sort of natural talent towards recognizing and manipulating the physical objects with energy, which require uncommon levels of intelligence and aptitude. Those remarkable individuals capable of studying and practicing alchemy are known as "Alchemists".

There are many paths by which alchemists can transmute the various substances of the world, with some alchemists being said to transmute by way of the Four Classical Elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air) and some by way of the Three Essential Principles (salt, sulfur and mercury), but the basic tenet at the very foundation of all alchemy is that of Equivalent Exchange.

I was actually intending on people acquiring the powers because of Murex Hall lol but I don't want y'all to have to change your Histories. I guess it's fine. You're all accepted. I'll get the dorms assigned when we get a bit more people.
