Avengers? Loki player here, looking for (nearly) everything, free to advanced

Hi there,
as the topic title said I have been infected with the Loki-virus and I am looking for fellow rpers who would like to play against me.

To me; I have more than 10 years gaming experience online, on forii and in one on one games and I like to play with beginners to advanced writers.
I'm not nitpicky regarding to post length, the one or other typo, spelling or grammar errors and I generally like to work with my writing partners.
Typically, I try to match your post length, but if you give me 800 words of your chars "cerulean orbs" staring sadly into space without a single action or line of dialogue or basically something I can have my char react to... chances are that no, I won't write 800 words of my char staring into the other direction.
Give me something to work with and I am fine.
I like to play males, I can do females, but personally I am most of the time not happy with the way they turn out. A female side char should be no problem though. I am open for any kind of plot, from cracky and hilarious over romance (more to this later) to dark, bloody and gritty and being a mature writer, I prefer the latter to the former. Char development is very important for me as well as a good characterisation and threedimensional chars.

As mentioned in the title, I momentarily and probably for a good while crave playing Loki. Against whomever.
You want to try your hand on Frigga, Odin, Sif? I'd love you forever.
You want to play your favourite Avenger? I'd love you forever.
In regards to romance/shipping I am open to m x m and m x f, but I do not need romance in a game. If it happens it happens and that is fine with me


What I am offering:
You'll get a reply from me every day. Possibly more than one, I love powerposting. I can double and triple and I pick up side chars frequently to further the plot. After more than a decade of rping I think I have the do's and don'ts down by now, so no godmodding or metagaming to expect here.
You have a scene stuck in your head you want to play out? You want an AU or a crossover? Just tell me and I bet we can work something out, I am ridiculously open to almost everything. Basically everything is open, except of the fact that I want to play Loki (and am willing to double or triple, of course).

What I am looking for:
Enthusiastic rpers who have seen "Avengers" and if I am very lucky, Thor as well, who have come to love the canons as I have, who want to explore these chars some more, who are the "What if?" type and are just a blast to write with. Beginners or old hands, a hundred words or a thousand, I just would like to read that you're enjoying yourself with the game.
Personally, I have a huge soft spot for m//, for hurt/comfort, for mind games, but I am happy with almost everything else as well. Just try me!
As you can see, I am partial to canon chars, but if you have a nice, threedimensional OC, hey that is great as well.
I do not care how we play, where we play, I'd just ask you to keep in contact and let me know if you lost interest or rl gets in the way or you thought of a great plot twist. I hate it when people poof on me and I keep running after them. It's just not cool.

What I am not looking for:
Well, I am sorry I have to mention it, but due to recent experiences, it is an issue:
1.) Mary Sues
If I would have a cent for every half-Jotun, half-dark elf, half-Asgardian, half-human dark sorceress/shieldmaiden/SHIELD superagent... whose author was convinced that my char would crumble down at her feet in admiration, I'd be filthy rich.

2.) People who don't want to give something back in a roleplay.
"Oh, I only play girls, because I'm a girl, I only play OCs because I am not good with canons... but of course I expect you to double and triple guys who flock to my OC and of course all of them have to be canons and there must be romance and angst and..." umm, no thanks.
Please do not expect me to play nothing more than the canon love interest to your OC wish-fullfillment female char.
Please do not expect to play only one gender in an one-on one
Please be flexible to a certain degree, I am as well.

Since you seem focused on Asgard... Have you seen Tales of Asgard?

I'm gonna halfway hit a Pet Peeve of yours and say I am not GOOD with cannon, but I am not refusing to play a cannon character. * Heck I see this as a chance I could get better.*

I tend to get confused, sometimes even forget characters in a post when there are say more then two, but generally if I see I've done this I will either edit the post * If it's a short entry for that character *, or simply wait till my next post to include them.

I can't think of anything else I'd like to add in other then I am interested in exploring Loki and Black Widow's chemistry if we choose to go with Avengers storyline over Tales of Asgard.

I'm interested, but I tend to like taking charge of OCs more since I feel like I have more freedom in building up the character, and less pressure to play an existing one well. That being said, is there anything in particular you would like? Though I'm more comfortable with females in general, I'm certainly willing to play more than one character -- though it might be a little stiff, I usually try to be well rounded in the roles I play to further my experience as a writer, so I won't ever demand to play only OCs or a single gender. I would just like for my 'main character', if you will, to be my own creation. I'm very flexible in that regard though, so if you have any ideas on a character you'd like, I'm more than happy to collaborate! I often do my best to Mary-Sue-proof all of my characters, but if you feel I'm overstepping my bounds in any way, don't be afraid to let me know either. Anyways, shoot me a PM and hopefully we can start working together on something fun!

I keep seeing your IC in the 1x1s an now here though it appears to be as old
I see part of the trouble is the need for Cannon characters
I find that playing cannon as do many others limiting a confining, this is likely due to our love for those characters
The closest I get to cannon is playing an alternate universe type

Brief bio:
The secrets of creating a super-soldier were lost with the death of its creator, Dr. Abraham Erskine but a sample lot was discovered by a secret branch of the Army's R&D agency.
Eager to try and recreate the project they began researching the best course.
However, in the decades after the creation of Captain America there have been numerous secret attempts to recreate Erskine's treatment, only to have them end in failure. Even worse, the attempts have instead often created psychopathic super villains.
It was during their research that they discovered one of Dr. Erskine's secrets, Steve Rodger's DNA had a unique marker that was needed.
Having only a small amount of the ”Project Rebirth” serum they began a fevered search after 911 for Rodger's extended family and a suitable subject.
Emily Freedom Rodgers was born on July 4, 1994 in Albany N.Y. to Ernest Rodgers and Lacy Jones Rodgers.
Emily was a normal girl living the middle class life in Albany when at the age of 12 they found her. Her genetic markers were perfect for the revival of Rebirth and the R&D lab created conditions that led to her seizure by DFACS on the trumped up charges of Abuse.
Once they had her they began their research, at first giving her small doses of serum along with artificial energy stimulation they found her body like her great uncle's could regenerate serum and they could leach it from her. Each round of bloodleting was like being set on fire for young Emily but none cared how she felt. Blinded by a lust for power they kept her caged like an animal between sessions without a care for her mental well being.
For two years they tortured poor Emily then at the age of 14 after using her body as a factory they'd collected enough serum and merely kept her on hand for future study.
They'd failed to notice that during their experiments Emily's body had changed and while she wasn't a super soldier by use of the serum, her adolescent body had mutated mimicking its effects.
They had planned on keeping her and their project a secret but one day Agent's of SHIELD raided their operation.
Arresting all those connected with the legal project SHIELD doctors had discovered what the project's doctors had missed, Emily was no longer a normal girl.
SHIELD reunited young Emily with her parents but maintained a watch on her after swearing her to secrecy.
They also under a covert project known only as Mentor inserted agents in her area who's duties were to direct her development. Some were teachers in her school, others were shop owners one was the local martial arts instructor.
Shield remembered all the help her great uncle had been and saw in Emily the chance to create his replacement in the Avengers should he quit, retire or be killed.
Emily was encouraged to be a new hope for the future of america. Her school received the best teachers Shield could covertly entice to teach there and because of this the school scored higher over all in their work and grades.
Emily knowing of her power couldn't help herself and has used her abilities to safeguard her town from time to time.
This required that Shield supply her with a uniform and shield to protect her true identity. Lucky for Shield her home's location and the surrounding area are sparely populated and seldom suffer major crimes.
Now that she is 18 Shield has a new worry "Collage!" And Emily's choice Empire State New York City.
