If any of you don’t know, today is Pi day. My math class had this competition to see who could make the best shirt dealing with Pi. Well, it wasn't much of a competition, considering it was a test grade. Most people didn't work very hard on their shirts, but I put some effort into mine. I basically just wrote out a bunch of digits of Pi on my shirt, going from top to bottom. I assume to make judging fair, my teacher brought it some administrators to pick witch was the best. I didn't win; I instead got a sort of "title". For example, the most colorful shirt. I don't even know what this was suppost to mean, but my shirt was a "guy" shirt. The reason why I got this title, was because, "Only a guy would list all those numbers out." Not only do I think this is funny because I'm not technically a guy, but it almost seems sexist. But hey, that's the people who run my school for ya.

But really, what a bizarre thing to do in a math class. I get celebrating pi day, but designing shirts and giving silly titles? I'm studying to be a teacher, and that seems like something that would be frowned upon.

My school made us memorise the digits of pi on the night before pi day, that was fun.
