Olivia.:.
She listened to Klaus. He already sounded like his mind was drunk, but he walked just fine. Still the idea of a drink sounded nice and she did as she was told and followed him. She wasn't ever one for talking, she rather liked keeping to herself because the moment most people figured out who and what she was, she was on their to kill list. Not Klaus though, no, he was too pleased with being free. He had a childishness to him that gave off a comfortable aura, but she still wouldn't look him in the eye. She would only do so if told to, which was hardly ever.
Olivia had always had a problem with eye contact though, most of it was because her eyes told so much about her and she didn't want to feel like someone could completely read her with just one look. Though she was easy to read, most people didn't interpret what they saw correctly. Sure, she was in leagues with Klaus, but he was indirectly bringing her to her goal. She worked for him and he basically protected her. It was a good gig in her eyes.
Still, when they got to the bar the drink was the first thing that came. Either they were trained or Klaus had been in before because they looked at him and slid him a drink before asking her what she wanted. "Single malt." she whispered and they slid her a tall glass. One she probably shouldn't finish so she could still talk, but she had a feeling Klaus would push her to finish it. She looked to him, but didn't speak at first. "When are we getting out of here? I thought once this ritual was over you wanted to bolt." she asked, finally deciding that it was a safe thing to ask. She took a sip and let out a sigh. Whiskey was one of her favorite things.
Damon.:.
When Damon made it into New York, he was surprised to find streets with minimal traffic. Of course he wanted no traffic, he couldn't risk dinging up his car! Still he heard a low whistle and he noticed the blonde there, but he was still going down the street. He parked his car and got out, following after the woman, though he remained discreet. She was just what he needed to get his mind off Elena. Pretty, knew when a car was nice, and she probably wouldn't be bad conversation either.
He managed to find the tunnel with no problem and he road on the subway. He knew where he had parked his car, so there was no need in worrying about it. If anyone messed with it, he would kill them, plain and simple. Still he needed an excuse to talk to her, and he looked around found himself one. "Excuse me ma'am." he used his most polite tone. You had to impress when you were trying to get someone to like you, right? "I've just moved to town and was wondering if you could tell me where this was?"
He had lifted a card off of the man beside her, and it looked like some kind of business office. "A friend of mine works there, and I'm supposed to drop in and see him now that I'm in town." he lied, but he knew it was undetectable. He liked that about himself. He had a silver tongue. Still, he couldn't help but take in the beauty of the woman. She was prettier than Elena. That much was definitely certain. He shook his head. He was supposed to not be thinking about her.
