Last of the Wilds-Rebirth (Irish Fantasy RP-OoC)

    Rhyme of the Wilds
    We are legend and lore,
    Story and Secret,
    Riddle and Rumor.

    We are untamed and unique,
    Brave and bold,
    Tenacious and terrific.

    We are free.
    We are few.
    We are the WILD.

Aye, the folks around here whisper a story, a legend if you will, about the Wilds. No one knows for sure if they still exist, but they are real. Come, sit, have a bit of brew, and listen to an old Irish man tell an old tale.

Long ago, in the deepest glens of Ireland, a group of magical beings lived in seclusion and were shielded by the legends of the land. They lived without worry nor woe, for they were part of the land. They lived for the land, used it, gave back to it, and made it their home. These beings were called the Wilds.

For many centuries, these beings lived without any knowledge of mankind besides the occasional traveler that would stumble upon their homes. They were always friendly to passersby, sharing their space and their food and occasionally trading items. Usually the visitors were friendly and equally willing to share.

    Then Franklin O'Neal came.

Franklin O'Neal was a dirty greedy man whom wanted the land that the Wilds lived on. Without concern for the many Wild families or their community, Mr.O'Neal sent hundreds of men to drive the Wilds out and kill all who stayed or tried to fight. When O'Neal's men moved in, many fled deeper but were killed anyway, and only a handful of the Wilds survived.

It has been said that none of the Wilds survived. It has been said that every Wild died that day, now known as O'Neal's Genocide. But some still believe that a group of the Wilds are still living, spending their lives in the same wild way that they were raised with, their parents were raised with, and all the generations before.

Do you believe in the Wilds?

Kelpie, Akin to the mythology of Poseidon and Demeter, the Kelpie is a mystical horse that emerged from the sea. They mainly lure children into the deep to eat them and stuff. Irish Mythological creatures are pretty assholeish like that. It is said that Mannanan Mac Lir rides one though.
Merrow, essentially an Irish mermaid/man, only way more awesome looking.
Clurichaun, adorable little drunk people with huge heads who ride sheep and dogs around. What's not to love?
Selkie, I can't really explain this one except by saying that they're seals that can transform into humans.

There's also your stereotypical Giants and what not. If you want to count them there's Welsh and Cornish Giants and what not that pop into Celtic Mythology, just not specifically Irish. Heck, we've even got our own headless horseman.

Hmm, I may make a CS. Is there anything set in Wild appearance, like a general look? Small, tall, fat, horns, etc. Or do we have free reign with that?

Gah. Finding a Celtic mythological creature beyond Leprechauns, is proving harder than I thought.

Alright is is possible to make a fey that is an Aes sidhe as the result of a Gancanagh and a Changeling(one of the human children taken and after spending so much time with the fey is no longer completely human) so that she ends up as a noble, or just a regular, fey but her specialization like things can be related to singing and seduction but in similar ways to the Gancanagh?

Also out of curiosity will this be sandbox-y or following specific plot events that have to do with the destruction of the Wilds?

    Name: Saorla Maichín

    Age: 27

Personality: Kind and caring, but can be stern and strong at times.

Bio: Before O'Neal's Genocide, Saorla was known as Princess Saorla and was only an infant. She was a generally happy child and had quite a talent for making the sick and weak healthier with her giggles. This was her magic. She could heal without trying.

Once O'Neal's men moved in and set the land into chaos, Queen Mirdina and King Donald sent Saorla into the deepest recesses of the glens to be raised by the elders, who also escaped.

Now, all the elders that had survived had passed away, and she is now forced to take her duties as queen, but she must wed. Unfortunately, she has no interest in marriage and instead wishes to take back her home from Francis O'Neal, the grandson of Franklin O'Neal. With few of her people left alive, this will be an impossible feat that she wouldn't dare try.

    Appearance:

Wild or Traveler?: Saorla is a Wild

    Magic: Healing

    Name: Farolin

    Age: 30

Personality: Blunt, sarcastic, loyal as a hound to the queen.

Bio: His magic was discovered when he broke his arm as a child and it snapped back into place as he wailed. Without anyone touching it. Then, his skin became as hard as rock to the touch. It soon became clear that he had utter control over his body from the smallest cell to the largest bone.

Farolin was one of the personal guards to the royal family. Specifically, he was attached to Saorla. He was told to guard the princess with his life. And he did so. Giving up his chance at escape during O'Neal's Genocide to escape, to ensure that the princess did with the elders. By some stroke of luck, he was thrown into the wall, which broke and sent him tumbling out of harms way, unconscious and seeming dead. When he finally regained consciousness he immediately began rushing after the Princess. It took him a few months, but he found her.

    Appearance:

Wild (Fairy) or Traveler (Human)?: Wild.

(IF WILD) Magic: Body control. From the healing rate of his cells to his very blood, to how tough his skin is, Farolin can control his body utterly.
