Voldemort is dead. Harry Potter has retired from the public eye to settle down with his loving wife. Hogwarts has returned to full capacity and is producing prodigious witches and wizards in the hundreds. An uneasy peace has descended over the wizarding world with many thinking that any problem that will come will never be worse than Voldemort and others preparing for the next Dark Lord with a paranoid fervor.

With Potter gone, the tales of his encounters with Voldemort have become the stuff of legends. No one knows for sure what he went through and none of his confidants are willing to share any of the details.

A group of Hogwarts students all meet up in the library and find that they are seeking one thing: details of the lives of Harry Potter and Tom Riddle. They are each curious for different reasons but they discover that they all are interested in the Boy Who Lived in order to learn magic that has been kept closely guarded by teachers and survivors of the war out of fear. At first, their intentions and curiosity are pure, merely the result of intellectual restlessness. They decide to study together and learn whatever spells they can from the assorted tomes in the library, and the tight-knit circle of friends as become closer and learn more about each other. Little do they know that among them will rise some of the most terrible Dark witches and wizards alongside some truly gallant and righteous heroes.

Which side will you join? And will a victory for either side be anything less than pyrrhic?

I'd like around 4-7 characters for this RP. Before you ask if there will be the chance to play as canon characters, I would really rather you create your own. Some next-generation characters will make appearances as teachers and perhaps one or two of the youngest children will be finishing up Hogwarts. The only rules are have fun and try to be at least semi-literate. I understand an off day when you can't produce more than a paragraph and I won't force you to write more than that in that case, but please try to avoid a one-liner post.

Personality: Leigh is a smart girl who prefers not to show it. She projects the attitude of a quiet, studious person. She plays Quidditch as a Chaser for Slytherin and is a great duelist, but is rubbish at concentrating on things she finds to be beneath her such as the subjects of Charms and Potions that she calls "wastes of time and ambition." Many people think she should have been sorted into Ravenclaw but it becomes painfully obvious after knowing Leigh long enough that her drive to succeed greatly overpowers her love of knowledge. She firmly believes that the peace should be maintained in the Wizarding World and will fight valiantly in any way she knows how to ensure stability.

Background: Leigh is the daughter of pureblood Graham Penrose and halfblood Olivia Blake. She was raised in England in a sleepy suburb with a high magical population until she was 11 when she got her letter from Hogwarts. Leigh's mother and father were both Ravenclaws and they met in school. When Leigh was Sorted into Slytherin, neither of her parents were surprised because of her gift with transfiguration and illusion-type spells which can sometimes characterize the personality of Slytherins.
