Read the book a number of years ago. Thought it was much more sophisticated than Twilight, but it still had the awkward love triangle thing going on. OMG TWO PEOPLE STUCK IN THE SAME BODY IN LOVE WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE. ONE BODY GETS ALL THE ACTION YO HULLA YO YO IMMA ALIEN.

Yeah, but it's still just this:

How many other genres is Stephanie Myer going to ruin? Huh? When will these atrocities end?!

We had an interesting discussion involving Stephanie Meyer - in a history class, of all places - a couple of years back. How it went:

Tutor: So, basically, which of these involve plagiarism?

-class lists off the three examples, then agrees to say all of them are-

Tutor: Right; that's really good, actually, because the third one was plagiarism even with the footnotes, since the writer of the essay basically took the passage, used a thesaurus to change some of the words, and claimed it as their own idea. Most people were tripped up by that.

Random classmate: So we basically just saw Stephanie Meyer write a history essay.

If we succeed, it is at the point of the sword.

If there is a long dispute, then both parties are wrong.

I still have my general fantasy yet to be defiled. You've already taken vampires, werewolves and now aliens Stephanie, what more do you want ?!

I've read it and it's much more interesting than Twilight. Don't judge it by the movie trailer, because the movie is going to be NOTHING like the book (I can tell just by watching it). Seeming the movie will ultimately end up as trash, I won't watch it, but I would read The Host again.

Coming Up: A witch, in love with a dragon and an elf, but will they be able to have awkward conversations when there is a war between the orcs and unspecified kingdoms of other races?

Quit while you're behind, new kid.
