Welcome to the OOC for Spitit of the Wolf Role Play. Here, members will join, talk and discuss, and ask questions/get answers relating to the Role Play.
First of all, NOTHING MAY BE TAKEN OR USED FROM THIS RP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. IF I FIND ANOTHER ROLEPLAY WITH THE SAME CREDENTIALS/INFO/CHARACTER SHEET/ OR ANYTHING, I WILL BE ANGRY
Bear with me, this may be a little much, but I feel that all of the information posted here is essential and important for everyone to know.
Rules for this RP:
1) No God Modding
2) No Powers, magic, morphing, etc. This is a realistic wolf RP
3) Be kind, be respectful, be patient. Rudeness is not allowed, please respect other players and their rights, and please be patient. No RP is going to start off quickly, it takes time to get things going.
4) Do not spam, no one likes a spammer.
5) Maximum characters per person-5. Only 5 to start off with. If you reach your limit, and want a 6th character, please ask me. Depending on how well you handle your other characters, I will decide if I think you can handle another.
6) The Co-Owners and I have the permission to place people on suspension/probation if these rules are broken
7) We also have the ability to change or add any rules at any time if necissary.
Rank Structure:
With the help of members, ranks will be assigned to you. Not everyone will get the rank that they want, as they are not just handed out and there are not enough high ranks to go around. Your character will need to earn their rank. Again, there are not enough high ranks to satisfy every member, so wolves will be assigned low rank positions.
Rank Descriptions:
Alphas- One male, one female. This couple, or single wolf until a mate is found, is the highest ranking wolf. They have leadership and control over the entire pack, and are very noble and respected. Betas- One male, one female. The Betas are second in command to the Alphas. They oversee the pack when the Alpha is away or unable to effectively run the pack. Deltas- One male, one female. These are the wolves who are under the Betas. They only hold authority over the Subordinates and are usually in charge of hunts, tracks, and the like. Gammas- The Gammas, also known as Subordinates, are the general members that make up the pack. They essentially hold no rank, and are the hunters, trackers and scavengers for the pack. (You may specifically ask to be a hunter, tracker, etc) Omegas- The Omegas are the lowest ranking of the pack members. They are usually placed in this position after breaking pack code, disrespecting a superior, or losing a fight with a superior. The Omegas usually recieve quite a bit of abuse from the rest of the pack members, and they must tolerate it.

Setting:
The setting of this roleplay will start off in the woods of a large valley. The season is early spring, and traces of snow and frost can still be seen on the greening grass. This valley is the perfect haven for wolves, plenty of food, water, shelter, and anything to keep a wolf's mind occupied.

Appearance: ShaowFang is a average wolf, not taller, nor thinner then the run of the mill wolf. He's slightly wider, a large build hugging his bones. He also has a thick black coat, with a grey strip trailing from the top of his forehead to the beginning of his tail, before the grey envelopes his pelt, turning his tail a complete grey. He sports a pair of silver eyes, which has been known to occasionally shimmer from sunlight, but he's never seen it for himself. The origin of ShadowFang's name comes from his front teeth, his top left K-9 tooth since he could remember had been the color of his pelt, colorlessly black.
Personality: ShadowFang is a protective wolf, never second-thinking jumping into a situation that could result in injury for the sake of the pack, or for the close circle of wolves he trusts. His trusts very little, and likes to keep it that way. Wolves tend to have to prove themselves to ShadowFang before he trusts them, something he had to do to get the trust of wolves he'd met before.
Apart of his trustworthy and willing manner, ShadowFang is also known to have a dark side from time to time. Whenever encountering other wolves when he was a lone wolf, or even meeting other pack-members he's been known to be rude, aggressive, and even sometimes trying to pick fights with other wolves, in the spirit of proving his dominance, as well as the packs dominance over others. He prides himself in the fights he's won, and the animal's he's fought and won against.
History: ShadowFang was a young pup when he was separated from his pack. He was probably only beginning to learn to hunt when their pack-grounds were over-run by poachers. He and the few pups and their teacher had managed to escape for a few months. They stayed together, trying to keep strength in numbers until eventually either rivalries or bonds formed within the group and tore them apart. ShadowFang was one of the first to go, run out by the group after he had challenged their leader who'd bitten him too hard in a play-fight.
From then on, ShaowFang had become a lone-wolf, hunting and killing his own meals, falling anything that he could find he could survive off of. Occasionally he'd even indulge in sweet berries that he'd witnessed brown-bears and other animals eating. He didn't mind their taste, but nothing filled him better then a fresh kill. Often after a fresh kill he'd be chased off by a pack of wolves, or even a stronger lone wolf who would have stalked ShadowFang until after the kill.
These experiences hardened the wolf, influencing his personality greatly. Now he's worked his way into the valley and for once, has felt the need to be apart of a pack. He'd sensed that need a while ago, and since then it had been slowly growing inside of him until now. He figures it's the maturity of growing older as a wolf, and realizing the need to be in a pack, since he'd been an adolescent and pup his entire lone wolf experience.

Personality: For being new to the world Zen is quite an adventurous pup who likes to run around and play with whatever he can find. He seems to always forget the fear of danger and gets himself into trouble almost everyday though this is because of his curious personality. Zen isn't in any way a bad pup but because of his adventurous ways he is regarded as one. Zen enjoys the thrill of the hunt and admires the older wolves for their prowess taking any chance he can get to join them be it invited or a little hidden.

Personality: Aevus is what would be described as the old man of the pack. He has lived his life, and his been fighting since the day he was born. Even in his old state his one of the pack's better fighters his old age coming with experience and the grace to use what he has learned. Some say he is just one bad day from becoming a elder, from giving up his old adventures lifestyle while others say he might never. He has that sort of precesce that ends up filling up a room, even with his slight and slender form. Aveus is known for his warm and welcoming personality and his gentleness and kindness and that sage like wisdom that comes with age. He might at times seem cold and distant and harsh on the younger memebers of the pack but that is just because he is preparing them for the worst that life has to throw at them.
History: Aevus was born the runt of the litter, smallest of his brothers and sisters ended up having to fight to stay afoot, to try and gain an edge. Which has ended up describing his entire life, fighting and pushing on no matter what happens. No matter what is thrown his way. He used to have a mate, a tracker in the pack. But sadly she was killed by Hunters a year after their pups were born. Most say he is a crazily determined old timer that refuses to stop fighting, that refuses to just give into old age. And honsetly it's right, because for a wolf like him stopping would be like going against everything his entire life was composed of. So even if he is now officially considered old enough to be an elder he is stubborn and refuses to go out quietly into the night. Though now maybe for his sake, his job has been basically to show the youngins the ropes once they are old enough to be their teacher and mentor. Which a wolf with his experience is a fairly easy task indeed.

Did you guys want to start the roleplay with the pack already being formed? Or start the roleplay with forming the pack, building relationships between characters and gaining trust among everyone? If we did the second option, the ranks you requested will still be yours, but they would have to be earned in a way. So Beta would have to earn Alpha's trust, and Alpha Female would have to get a little friendly with Alpha before becoming mates. Make sense?
