Like I said, I often invade for shits and giggles. In one instance I swore that to fight one player I'd only use Kicks and a broken sword hilt. I died eventually, but it was an amusing ten-minute struggle, the guy couldn't comprehend what the fuck was going on.

I had just enough STR to wield the Zweihander properly, which is like 16-18 or something, making my character no more than 20-25, which would put this kid anywhere between level 10-20. I don't really level him up, though I do grind against enemies for amusement, and tend to blow souls on shit like Titanites and weapons, upgrade them, and then dump them off on other players. On that character I had grabbed the sword, ran through the Valley of Drakes, took the lift to Darkroot Basin, and backtracked my way quickly past the Black Knight and Titanite Demon and got right up to the Blacksmith. You can reach him fairly easily.

Isn't that way around directly to the Blacksmith so wonderful.

And no armour? Is this hyperbole? Because even with Armour of the Glorious (really expensive shit from the depths merchant), I can roll perfectly.

Also, I've invaded people with full Giant or Havel in the levels up over 120 there, so sometimes...

I think that he either had been putting his points into other shit (maybe vitality, lol thinking more HP will help you at all) or he hadn't chosen a class with good STR or END to begin with. His character was just fucking slow. My first character was a Knight and I was slow as fuck too. I quickly noticed the difference in rolling speed when wearing my armor, and when not. Rolling speed has to do with equip weight and END, if I remember right.

One day I wanted to see how quickly I could ring both bells from the start of the game. I hit up the Gargoyle's and rang the first one in literally about fifteen minutes.

Had Quelaag's bell rung after about another twenty-thirty.

Did that on my first character, but that character was so horrible stat-wise since I didn't know about scaling that I deleted him when I hit up Duke's Archives.

On my main, I played online for the hell of it. Invasions aren't as bad as expected, though human players are far more of a grievance than the NPC invaders. though, I'm also able to summon a phantom player long before anyone invades me, usually.

Bad connection, screw playing online.

I would get the game for PS3, but most cash I get goes on Steam (which I use immediately) or Starbucks.
Also, there are Spiders in that game and Spiders scare me.

I'm about level 45, and am stuck in Anor Londo, right when you get to the castle. There are these two archers who shoot very large arrows, and I can't seem to get around them or attack fast enough. I'm pretty sure they're right before a group of those flying goblin things that take you to Anor Londo.

I play on both the 360 and the PC, because I'm that fucking into it.

At this point, I don't even need a shield for anything anymore, so I just two hand a greatsword and fast roll through everything.

Run past the arrows up to the right-hand knight and hug the wall, keeping your shield up. Once you get right up to him, he'll stop firing and take out his sword. As he starts swinging, back up. If you time it right, he'll just fall off and you can proceed.
