It was her first day. It was Sadie Tearstone's first day of school at Mystic Falls High School. It was a little bit different than what she expected, but she held her black back pack on her shoulder and ran a hand through her curled red hair and allowed her highlighted eyes to scan the area. She was dress in a
black shirt that showed her midriff, and a pair of jeans with heeled booties. She felt really out of place here, but as she walked around, her silver charm bracelet around her wrist, she felt herself slowly heading over towards the principal's office.
Her brown eyes narrowed slightly when she caught the smell of something, and she bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry!" Sadie exclaimed, a bit of an Australian twang coming over her voice. She looked over the boy before her. He looked about her age with dark hair and eyes and a tan complexion. "I'm jus' lookin' for the principal's office." she said, helping the boy up and he looked her over. "Sadie, Sadie Tearstone."
"Tyler Lockwood. Come on, follow me." he said to her, and Sadie nodded a bit and followed him into the principal's office. "So, you're new here?"
"Yeah, jus' go 'ere from New York. Been livin' there with some friends of mine until they 'eaded off. Needed a place to go, and a friend of mine 'as a place around 'ere." she answered. "Am I that obvious?"
"Yeah, you stick out like a sore thumb." he told her and he showed her to the principal's office. "Here you are. See you around, just watch it, might catch some attention."
"Thanks, mate." she said with a small salute and she closed her eyes. She walked into the principal's office and got her schedule before she was told to head home for the day so they could process all of her records entirely, and she sighed, heading off to the local cafe/pub she saw. When she got in there she sat at the bar and looked at the menu.
"What can I get you?" the waiter asked.
"A burger and fries, please. Extra onions." she ordered, "And a coke. Thank you."

It was already going to be a long day. Being back in school for the first time since everything started revolving around the cure. The Miss Mystic Falls pageant had him sore because Elena had told him to move on. He wasn't sure he was ready for it yet, nor was he sure that everyone else was ready for him to be without Elena this way. Everything felt too fresh, far too fresh for his liking, but when he noted a the blonde that had been there for almost the last year and a half, if he could remember correctly, he felt odd. Soon he heard some voices outside of the classroom door and focused in his hearing. A new student. That was suspicious. No one that was new to Mystic Falls anymore wasn't supernatural, and this made Stefan wonder if this one was the same way.
He sighed, trying to focus on his work, but the teacher soon snapped him out of it. "Alright, now for the next week we will be doing projects in groups of two, I have your assigned partners on the board."
Stefan looked up to the chalkboard and next to his name was... Brooklyn Messer? That blonde he had been trying to remember if she had been there all along or not? Well, that was certainly not expected, but at the same time it almost was. Sometimes he wondered if he would ever be paired with someone other than Elena for this stuff, and suddenly he was. A nice change, and Stefan got up and moved by Brooklyn Messer. He offered his hand. "Stefan." he greeted with a smile.
