Finally, a thread actually worth reading. Now, since I can't randomly interfere and crash a post here without at least introducing myself, I will try to offer as many useful pieces of information as possible.
About me. This is probably the most difficult section since there is no real possibility to stop me from talking. No, i'm not being arrogant, I simply rant too much for a normal listener. Anyway, I'm in my last year of highschool, the most horror experience someone ever passed through, and I'm keeping my time well under control so that I will not mix the free time with school hours. They are not in equilibrium anyway, classes do keep me awake at night. As for how I write, I think that it should be a balance between quantity and quality. Normally, I have no problem in going over six paragraphs for example, but the other rper needs to pay attention to everything written in them. When I answer with a character, I connect him/her with whatever what said and done before that post, just like an ordinary person. When someone smiles or asks you something, you answer. It is the same thing in rp, here, our characters are real persons. A few months ago I happened to run into a story about a couple trying to find their way out of the book, cliche, I know, but it was amazingly done.
Comfort zones you say, these ones are pretty easy to handle since I can practically do anything, from fantasy to medieval, historic, horror, action, thriller etc. Lately I've rped many apocalyptic rps. They are interesting, and unless you document for them, sometimes they just die. And another thing, I absolutely despise drama. Not romance, drama, that plot that tends to go all soapy opera in the end. If I want to make someone cry, then I can always use a baseball bat. Usually, I also use fandoms, but obviously, the personality will change according to my own style and beliefs. I think I once brought Harry potter together with Chobits. Okay, don't kill me for that, i wanted to see how would that work. You know how it ended, with Potter going all spells on the poor girl. Definitely, not a good choice, although it was worth the try. That's amazing in writing, you can create and manipulate your puppets in whatever way you desire, without forgetting to keep count of their feelings and emotions.
Plots and ideas. Can I take your hand in this topic? Just kidding, I believe that rpers involved in a 1x1 should thoroughly discuss the subject between them, not one to do all the thinking and the other to just comply. Automatically, the amount of work becomes unequal. Males or females? I can do both , but since I am a girl, I can connect better with the female character. If it is male, then I unconsciously give him a bad ass exterior and behavior. You gave a few ideas in here, and to be honest I want a little realism for this certain roleplay, so I will go for number 4. I find it utterly interesting, especially through the point of view of the psychologist I want to be one day. From the options you provided, that is the most intriguing. If you're interested, then I will gladly offer some suggestions according to what character each one of us will play.
Once a day, that's decent, so that will be no problem. I usually am on only two hours per day in the evening, so this is settled. Hope to hear from you soon, and by the way, I attached a sample of one of my other roleplays.(the character is inspired by Ailith, the first supposed woman of Adam that transformed into the snake in order to lure Eva out of heaven.)
Callie.
