The Chasm:
The Chasm is a great rift located on the eastern continent, which splits the landmass right down the middle. The rocks from the chasm often have unusual properties, such as being able to float, or being luminous. The Gorah settled this place long ago, when they were still human. Evolution has turned them into the sky people we know today. The Keenon settled in the caves around The Chasm, but for all their excellence in mining, they are still unable to find a way to penetrate further than the "Armor Layer." What lies at the bottom of The Chasm is anyone's guess.

He enjoys Kyissa's company most of all, and became her dedicated guardian when he turned 18. The two have always gotten along well, and Kelten is known to act as a big brother figure.

Build: Short, and thin, but excellent leg muscle
Hair Color: Lavender, hip length, but tied loosely at the ends

Personality: Alskade is very bubbly. She likes to talk, mostly about abstract things that mean nothing to everyone but her. She also, for whatever reason, makes it seem as though everything is alive, has feelings and can be hurt. Although sometimes loud, Alskade knows when to be quiet, like a night mission. She loves her familiar, and likes to think that everyone's nice, and friendly, though she treats strangers like the plague.
Fighting Style: Alskade uses a bow and arrows. She flies over head on her familiar, providing air support, and if needed, she'll drop provisions into the field.
Background: Alskade is from from the Chasm, from a little island that literally only has three houses and a tree full of singing birds on it. All that's known is that she has two older brothers, and her parents died at a young age. Other than that, Alskade is very quiet about her personal life, since she doesn't want her family to be endangered.

Build: Tall and skinny, not shapely or curvaceous.
Hair Color: Dark black, tied up in long braid.
Eye Color: N/A

Personality: She is very serious, though not adverse to humor, in a drier, sarcastic way. Rarely laughs, but often smirks. Rather non-confrontational, prefers to hang in the background until the fight is inevitable.
Fighting Style: She fights with a combination of magic and light weapons. She favors quick and deadly attacks, using magic to paralyze and mezz opponents.
Background: Isaura left her people’s lands in the polar regions to explore the other civilizations of Athaeon. As she needs some funds to survive, she has been known to take up the odd job every now and then, most recently at Princess Kyissa’s coming of age party.

Revajk was the greatest king in all of recorded history, and Athaeon reached an undeniable golden age under his rule. He was loved by everyone, as were his wife and daughter. Princess Kyissa has just come of age, and King Revajk is throwing a big party to celebrate. Then the Shadow Guard came. Led by Revajk's wife, They overthrew the King before anyone knew what had happened. Now, a band of adventurers must smuggle Princess Kyissa off the continent, before the newly crowned Empress Lysanda can find and kill her. Are your skills up to the challenge?

The RP would start the night of the Coup, With the mercs getting Kyissa out of the capital city. I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Races:

Humans: Humans spend their lives as farmers and warriors, constantly at war with each other over Trader's Straight. They posses no special technology, but are, in contrast, able to use the heaviest weapons and armor.

If you play as a Human:

You are born and raised in The Human Realm
You are, as of the RP, between the ages of 20 and 60
You are able to see in standard lighting

Vonari: Vonari live in the majestic crystal spires found on the edges of the polar regions. They are physically blind, but are so attuned to the Magic that they do not need their eyes. They produce plans and materials for many of the wonderous tools used across Athæon.

If you play as a Vonari:

You are born and raised in the Vonari Spires
You are, as of the RP, between the ages of 30 and 290
You are able to see at any light level
You customarily wear a blindfold that covers your eyes.

Keenon: Keenon live in various caves and chasms in Athæon. They are the master craftsmen of the world, able to craft anything the Vonari ask them to. They are albinos, and require heavy clothing when they venture to the surface. They also must wear darkened goggles when in the sunlight, as their eyes are only accustomed to the light emited by the Glowing Stones utilized as a lightsource.

If you play a Keenon:

You are born and raised in the Great Chasm.
You are, as of the RP, between the ages of 20 and 80
You are able to see in the dark, unaided.

Gorah: The Gorah race originated in the Floating Chasm found in the western region of the Eastern Continent. They create many floating cities out of the levitating rocks native to the Chasm. They bond at a young age with some form of flying beast, which they use as a mount

You are, as of the RP, between the ages of 18 and 40.

Hey Echoes, do you have any rules for using silly things like dollmakers and such to help with the visualization of characters? Sometimes I find them useful, and if you don't mind I can like one here so you can get a better idea of Isaura's manner of dress (since I don't have fancy, realistic sites and images like you do). If you don't like them, I'll just whip up a description.
