The Search Bar

Hello, all. I just registered to this site, and wanted to use the search bar at the top of the page to search for some RPs. However, every time I try to search for something, a page pops up that says I do not have permission to access "this page". I checked the FAQ and everything, and was wondering if there was a "grace period" of sorts before I can begin searching, or is something up? Any help is appreciated.

Instead of searching in the search bar for RPs, you should check out one of the following links.

General Interest Checks
Free Interest Checks
Casual Interest Checks
Advanced Interest Checks
One x One Interest Checks

Back to the question at hand though, I do believe there is something of a 24 hour period before you can use the search bar. I've never used it myself so I may be wrong.

^ What Gallifrey said. Using the search bar to search for RP's will likely only get you dead threads from a long time ago, or just plain discussion topics. The intchks are where to go to find new, recruiting RP's. The search bar has better uses.

And yes, there is a sort of 24-hour wait before newly registered members have full permissions. Not sure if it's exactly 24 hours, though. Could be something else. But you get the idea.
