Burning Wings (Mercury and Jorian)

[Jorian]

The sun sinks low in the sky, casting a brillian burning light across the cloudy horizon of the skyworld, and two angels blast across the skyline, trailing behind each other in a flight race and trying to pass each other up. The two angels were rivals in everything they did, and now they were in a contest of flight.

"Not bad," the angel on the left, a white garbed angel with brown hair, said. "Try to keep up with this." Without waiting for a reply, he pulled himself to a stop and went into a vertical nosedive into the blanket of cloud below them.

[Mercury]

A dark winged angel which was wearing dark clothing shook his head looking at the white garbed angel angrily. "Come on you think I am pathetic to not keep up with this?" He nose dived curling his wings back to make himself streamlined. "You white winged angels always think you can beat us." he smirked quietly. "You never learn." he says falling through the cloud quickly smirking.

[Jorian]

Gabriel, the white-winged angel, laughed as the dark angel sped past him, then folded his wings back and picked up speed to keep up.

"Oh, but don't focus on the descent too much," he said as they broke through the clouds and approached the calm sea below. "You just might miss the landing." He prepared a single charged light arrow from his angelic bow-a strange weapon crafted by the gods that collapsed into dual blades, and can even merge again into an extra long blade-and fired it directly ahead of him at the sea. The impact left a large crater in the water for a fraction of a second, allowing Gabriel to sweep through the hollow and speed back upward along the surface of the water. He even took the chance to show off with several twirls and somersaults throughout.

Vex smirked watching the display as he crashed into the water and then splash back out shivering a little but the speed was still high not expecting the sea right there. He held his weapons a similar but darker version of the blades but he didn't use them as much. "Well I don't need to actually have cheap tricks to avoid water." he says smirking still flying as he shook off the water. "Of course you wouldn't care about that." he smiled happily. "brr maybe that wasn't a good idea actually." He shiverred cold.
