We all have our strengths that we naturally play to -- It doesn't mean you can't do something, just that you might have to work a bit harder to get where you want to be. If you stick with it, you'll see results. ^_^

    I know that feeling.

And I hope you're right. Main reason I want to get into art is actually to prove something to myself, same way I got into music. I've shied away from drawing or painting for quite a while because I doubt any amount of practice will overcome a disadvantage I have. For reasons, I have a tremor in my hands, one that can lessen or worsen at random.
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?
With dead heart so cold and spirit so tattered
My mind in shambles and broken body so battered
Where sorrow has filled the void and I've lost all that mattered
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?

One idea is to incorporate that into your art. At it's most basic form, art is something that is aesthetically pleasing to people. At it's most advanced, art communicates an experience or an idea. In this case, you can use art to express the frustration of your disability.
I don't know what to put here right now.

Working digitally will be a big advantage for you, then.. You can delete lines if you need to, without having to worry about messing up the whole piece or wasting supplies like you might if you were working traditionally.

Also, I know one guy who is working towards being a professional illustrator and he's red/green color blind. He has to work a bit harder with his colors to compensate, but he's doing fairly well. You just have to be stubborn about not letting a problem like that define your limits.

This is true, but what I'm mainly shooting for is a more focused style on comics and manga, something that leaves me at that distinct disadvantage. However, practice art and freeform works are just for that reason, something so that I don't have to worry so much about it.

True, and I've already proven how stubborn I am with music. I've learned the basics of playing over ten different instruments, and some advanced guitar and piano playing despite my tremor, coordination issues, being somewhat tone deaf, and my inability to form 'muscle memory'(something many consider essential for playing any instrument). Just have to buckle down and get to it.

That's impressive for anyone to learn all that. A lot of people say stubbornness is a negative personality trait, but sometimes it's honestly not a bad one to have..
