    .
    Introduction
    .
    In this roleplay you can control an entire nation, and everything about them, as you explore the vast galaxy of Eden. Interact with other players, militarily or otherwise, in an effort to claw your way to the top. Each and every one of you has the power to change the galaxy in your favor, should you play your cards right (not literally, of course, unless your race has a knack for card games that have drastic consequences). Strategy and winning is not all that matters here, however, as we will also be focusing on making a good story out of it. For those of you who enjoy writing, the experiences of those witnessing these events taking place can be written in story format.
    .
    Gameplay
    .
    1. You control all aspects of your nation, including the species that inhabit it, as long as you don't god mod or totally ruin the mood with someone overly silly or "unrealistic", such as an army made up entirely of old men wearing chicken suits (that doesn't mean you can't have a species where it would make sense to have old men as the army, but the chicken suits are pushing it).
    .
    2. There are no turns. You take a realistic amount of time to get from place to place in roleplay time. For example, you have your ship traveling at a speed that would allow it to arrive at a nearby planet in a day. If fighting is occurring on that planet, they will have a days worth of fighting going on in the roleplay's time before your ship arrives.
    .
    3. No dice rolls or number crunching is needed. Things will go on based on a logic system. If you have an alien as strong as three humans who's fighting one normal human, you don't have the human roll a dice to see if they can luckily overpower the alien. If they have a realistic plan to do so then they will be able win. Otherwise, no. For things that could go either way, most of the time it would be taking place in large armies anyways, so if there are two evenly matched alien armies with the same strategies fighting, then they will win and lose in equal amounts.

    4. To judge what would logically happen in a scenario given by someone, if there's a dispute, then all other members of this roleplay not involved in the conflict can vote. I have the final say, but will side with the popular opinion 9.99 times out of 10. If everyone involved in a battle have no issues with what's happening then this process won't even need to occur. If everyone in the dispute wishes to settle it somehow else, they don't need to put it up for a vote either.
    .
    5. In your posts you can give your plans and strategies for the future. For example, someone makes a post saying that their ships are closing in on your planet, then you make a post saying that they detected the enemy fleet and are moving to intercept them. Meanwhile, you can be talking about producing some new type of vehicle or whatever. You can say as much different things as you'd like, but your people can only do the amount that they can do in the roleplay's time. The more you ask of them, the longer it will take. You don't need to tell us all the basic stuff, such as creation of new buildings that aren't vital to the war effort. For example, you don't need to say "build gas station" in every post. We'll assume that your people are building all the basic stuff needed for civilization and a normal gas station won't have such a dramatic effect. However, if there's some massive energy station vital to supply lines, then you would have to mention that it exists whenever it becomes relevant to the plot.

    6. Your nation/species can be totally obliterated if it can realistically occur. Sorry about that in advance. However, there will be some NPC races that will assist those in need.
    .
    7. I (and others) can create NPC races to occupy unclaimed sectors (unclaimed sectors will be explained later) or even planets in already claimed sectors. That way you can't say "I went to the nearby planet and took over everything easily". Whenever you invade a planet, there could be NPC races and other hazards to cause some resistance. You don't always have to have a massive resistance force of aliens on every planet you go to (that would be unlikely). Just don't steamroll everything without any problems. Most NPC's will not be tough enough to totally stop you. Ones that are will most likely be mentioned by me before you get so far into their territory to invade their planet.
    .
    8. You can say that your forces are scouting areas to help avoid this or other problem. I'll tell you what your scouts could realistically find out about something in regards to NPCs. If you scout another players forces, if it could have realistically occurred then the person you scouted should inform you of what they could have noticed.
    .
    9. Just because you know something by looking at someone else's alien species sheet, that doesn't mean your people would know that. If you never met this race that is weak to cold, then your guys shouldn't instantly know that and, even better, brought weapons that shoot ice. It's too much of a coincidence unless you can explain in your sheet that it's their primary weapon or something like that, but don't do something like this just so you can get the upper hand on someone. You can exploit weakness after your people can logically figure it out.

    10. What about trade, negotiations, and the like? I said you control all aspects, so you can do all that stuff too. In your post, just say you're sending in people to negotiate, for example. Simple, huh? You'd obviously need to specify what your negotiating once/if you get them to the table, but that's pretty much it (you don't need to list everything, just main things or say all the basic stuff). You can even negotiate with NPC races played by me. Looking at their sheets with information about them, you can see if they'd be likely to do so or not rather then me just deciding to not negotiate with you on a whim.

    11. This is sci-fi. You can have massive starships, shoot laser cannons, have shield generaters, etc. Just don't have a game breaker device. For any advantages that you have, also be sure to have disadvantages. Want a ship the size of the Death Star? Well, your resources must have been given to that more so then other stuff.

    Story and Characters
    .
    1. In conjunction with the gameplay, inside your posts can be stories written from the point of view of characters, much like most roleplays. It would be good to give a brief summary of what took place in these segments in case people are just trying to get up to speed on the main ideas and the strategy portions.
    .
    2. You can follow well developed characters, or even create minor characters to take part in a single battle.
    .
    3. You can have up to 5 characters with plot armor at any one time (you can't change around plot armor for exact moments where they would need it). Save these for your favorite characters. They can't die off without your permission, but if they'd realistically die no matter what then you'd still have to let them die. Otherwise you can take unlikely, yet still possible escape routes or have your opponent not kill them for some reason. Any other characters can die if they'd realistically die, even without permission. Don't worry about giving plot armor to your king or general, for example, because realistically the enemy can't say they snuck an assassin in and killed him or her unless there's an obvious lack of security.
    .
    4. You can create an unlimited number of characters, just without the plot armor.
    .
    5. You don't have to have characters only from your nation.
    .
    Other rules
    .
    1. Standard forum rules apply, such as no god modding and being respectful to others
    .
    2. I can create new rules if problems come up, but I won't create rules simply to benefit me. I'll always give proper warning before adding on a rule.
    .
    3. Keep bad words to a minimum. Be creative and have them curse in your alien's language should you feel the need. No graphic romance scenes. Take it to a PM. If vital things happen there that could effect the plot (highly unlikely), then just tell us the relevant stuff.
    .
    4. People can become moderaters by request and if enough of you guys (or I) support the request. They can do anything I can do, although I can still over-ride them if needed.

    Plot
    .
    The Eden Galaxy is entering a new age where multiple alien nations are bridging the gap between planets and interacting with one another, some of which for the first time, although some larger alliances are already in the works. Humans have also made their way onto the scene by stumbling through a wormhole while traveling to Jupiter, placing them in sector 72 where they had a run in with the Al'Zrak. They were captured, but later released after additional humans arrived. The location of the wormhole to the Milky Way has been kept secret. Humans are making a name for themselves in the 200 years since the incident, but are still just one of many powerful species that inhabit the galaxy. These are turbulent times, as many of these species and nations are about to bump heads.

    I (and some moderaters) will sometimes provide plots in the form of NPC races appearing or other scenarios, but for the most part it's up to everyone and how they wish to proceed with their alien race that will determine the plot from here.

    Each of the 81 sectors have multiple galaxies in it. You can have control of one sector to start, containing around 20 life supporting planets on average, although technology can change additional planets to meet the criteria, or have a bunch of space stations. When choosing a sector it's first come first serve. As long as a sector hasn't been claimed/explored, you can still join this roleplay or change locations and chose from among the still unclaimed/unexplored sectors.

    Color- dark gray
    Attitude- They are are willing to expand, but will to form alliances. They will try dominated weaker states by setting them a protectorates and take them over later. Or conquer them out right.
    Capital Planet- Iro the planet is build up into massive city with large fortresses doting the land. located in Crell system
    Planets- Fortress world Tredagor, Hadta a heavy industrially world.
    Leader- Emperor Theadren
    Government- The emperor holds the power and is advised by a group of a ministry, most powerful is the military advertisers Governor-Militant Marcus Tybal. Territory is dived into provinces witch are ruled by governors. They are very oppressive to alien species. They have a Machiavellian philosophy

    History-
    The empires history was a long and bloody one, Iro started out as a small city-state in the vosta region the region was in turmoil, which meant they had to fight to survive the Geo-political situation. During witch the first emperor rises to power of Iro and set out and conquer the vosta region then moving on to conquer the entire world and after his death he was entomb in there capital. And his descended have ruled iro senses, Onto the modern century the empire started to go into space and establish colonies on distant planets, but soon the colonies itch for their independence hey soon form the Arcan. What issue was a massive civil war with loyalist and separatist the war was long and bloody but ended in victory for the empire after the bloody stamp out of rebels. Iro has rebuild from the war as well as destroy the last remains of the rebels, the war left a deep scar on their society

    Recruitment- 14% for whole militarily. Age of recruitment at 16, conscription age at 18. The military recruits from orphanages, males who can't get adopted have the option to go into the military or go out and get a job on the planet most pick the first option.
    Size- 19 billion another 2 billion in reserve with an extra 950 million robotic troops

    Iroidien navy

    Information- The fleet deploys battle ships the large heavy ships of line fit for ship to ship battle famous for their big desk guns , carriers large ship that its fire power come from the 150 aircraft on bored , escort carriers a smaller version than on big ones, destroyers they are smallest ships in the fleet mostly use to protect the carriers, heavy cruisers fight with battleships in engagements, light cruisers just a smaller and faster than the heavy cruisers, stealth ships it’s basically a space submarine, a new dreadnought ships are the big and stronger than the battleships and have larger guns, and they have a marine corps to help fight if the ship is boarded.
    .The Imperial navy had been going though a refit and swapping out older ship for newer ones.
    Structure- the navy commander is the grand fleet master, next rank is admiral and so on. The ships our organized into battle groups, fleets, task forces, squadron, and patrol group.

    NPCable: they can be Arcan pirates or mercenary

    Habitat- they prefer colder climates but can tolerate warmer
    Appearance- they have a dull color skin with.
    Physiology- they stand about 6'8 with there bones are tougher have a more angular and muscles system stronger due to the higher gravity on the planet, they have a bi-cardiovascular system (witch means they have two hearts) and look human except there blade like teeth and there one color eyes ranging from different shades of grays.
    Personality- They are a nonsense species, the have a very pessimistic view
    Lifespan/Birth/Aging- 6 month Gestation they reach maturity at age 16, and live for about 130-140 years.
    Language- English, and Iroisen
    Religion- One-god, they worship the being know as Virem there creator. All the emperors are believe to be demigods the most famous is the first emperor.
    Culture- war like culture that values self-sacrifices to their empire and emperor is a long tradition in the Irodinia. They are a very honor base society.

    It must be 35% at some point join, but not 35% of the population at any given time is in the military, correct? (judging by the size, that would appear to be the case but I'm just clarifying). For 1.2 trillion, that would be a lot for the "around 20 planets" average that I made for this reboot, figuring in at around 60 billion a planet. While I suppose technology could make that possible, I'm just throwing that out there in case you didn't realize that perspective.

    -Did the Takaro look like humans before being infected? Is 1 trillion including only the Takaro, or perhaps all the drones of any species, and not including the parasites? Like the one above, 1 trillion is a lot.

    -For eyes growing bigger, how much so? The eye sockets might just cause them to squeeze out of the skull. 0_o Also, the extra pressure on the eyeball, if it did stay inside the socket and not rupture, would still blind them.

    -For Takaro nobles, it sounds kind of like they are their own race in the lifespan thing. Are tokoro nobles infected at the time, giving birth to the drone?

    -The map here works for me.

    Well some world have a huge city that expand deep into the planet and extends high into atmosphere fitting a larger population into a smaller place. also fixed the recruitment number.

    Okay, but I feel bad for the Empire of Brittany having so much less then ours (I'll have to go over 1 trillion again as well to take advantage of one of my race's main strength of large numbers). But then again, your military size of only 9 billion does give a fair fight. That's actually less then 1%, I think, which is a realistic amount for real life.

    I'll edit in your nations/species after I got something else finished up.

    Nation Name-
    The Galactic Shogunat.

    Location-

    Color-
    Gold.

    Attitude-
    The Shogunat is a very anhilative race, they breath in the destruction they have brought apon the enemy. They watch ruins of cities and the corpses of there enemies. They would more than likely shot at sight, since there dream is a universe controlled by non other than them. They prefer military expansions of there empire, taking over any resource filled planet they find and building gigantic space stations around them, with there own gravity, weather and timespan. Everything of these are artificial, but it is still very close to the real deal, it is here most of the population lives, medium class and the weathy.

    Capital Planet-
    Omega 1-1-2. Previously named Hoir.
    The most resourcefilled planet within a radious of four systems.
    Also transformed into a massive factory and refinary where they eat up the resources of the gigantic planet.

    Imperius Inquisitionus Maximus. An artificial planet created over a long span, it orbits Omega 1-1-2 due to Omega 1-1-2's lack of a moon the Imperius is a moon and has the same effects on the planet as a moon would have. Imperius is the house of the Shogunat and many of the wealthy aswell as many of the medium class. 25% of both medium class and wealthy live on Imperius.
    The shogunat would be nothing without these two planets, Imperius however as many may not know is a gigantic fortress, equiped with many apon many apon many of weapons, it is the guardian of Hoir.

    Population-
    175 billion. ( the vast majority of the population lives in space with 10% living on the planets and working on them. )

    Species-
    Species are put into classes, Low class, the workers are made up of a species who live for work, they love it and therefor there motivation to work is incredible. It also makes a incredibly small chance of rioting, much lower than any other working class of the other nations. Medium class are made up of both working class species who have worked up into medium class, the medium class is also made up of the native people of Hoir. The wealthy class is made up of only people who originat from hoir.

    The Hoir people are named Imparial.
    The working class is named Shifoin.

    Currency-
    Imperial coins.
    Inqusitionus holocious. (bricks made out of pure metals, the holocious are very beautiful and they change color and they emmit a little amount of light.)
    Shogunat Prion. (Something very rare to have, only the richest of rich have a Prion, Prions are the same as 600 Holocious and Holociouses are the equivilant of 50000 coins. Prions are made out of a see through material and they look like a small sigil of the Shogunat symbol.)

    There are different kinds of coins, coins that equal 10 coins, 50, 100, 1000 so on.

    Enemies-
    Everyone.

    Advantage Traits-
    - A extremely powerful military.
    - Skilled and experienced soldiers.
    - A very rich nation.
    - A powerful navy.
    - Smarter scientists than most other races.
    - Low production time.
    - There life time without being killed is very long.

    Disadvantage Traits-
    - Forced conscription into the military at the age of 16 untill they are 25 years old, then they recruit them again at 30 untill there 60. After that people can join the military as they see fit.
    - Forced labour, Worker class citizens are forced to work in the factories, refineries and mines from 20 to 40 years. After that they can work at what ever they like, but most worker class citizen continue to work in the factories.
    - Most citizens spend most there lifes in space, therefor they are inexperienced with planets.
    - Due to soldiers strenght and armor they can often become slightly mad and come to the conclutions that they are immortal, due to this more experienced soldiers are ordered to get the mortality into there minds.

    Other Traits-
    - The large population of the shogunat live in space.
    - Even thought they live in space, the shogunat specialize in ground combat, whilst still having a powerful navy, there ground combat is legendary.

    History-
    The shogunat where created from a past of war, the planet of Hoir has seen a countless number of battle and it is scarred with the craters, radiation and ruins of war. Through one man with a vision, a low class man with a vision, the worked his way to power, through a long period of 600 years he worked to power, when he had finally worked to power he ended war, he constructed work places, he built cities he created the space age, he produced spaceships in the name of the imperial inqusition. This man was Hoishi Koiji, the Inqusitor or Hoir. He ended the age of the Imperial Inqusition and created the age of the Galactic shogunat, he died at the age of 2500, when the normal citizen dies at 1010 years of age, scientists don't know why, but every shogun of the galactic shogunat live for atleast 2000 years, they call it the Gene to rule, but they have still not found an answer. During the rule of the secound shogun Hiroi Koiji he ordered the construction of the Imperius Inqusitonus Maximus, a memory of the time when the imperial inqusition ruled. during the rule of other shogun's war with other nations became a daily life, and conscription laws where changed into the current ones. Many beautiful wonders exist in the core of the galaxy where the Shogunat rule, many wonders indeed. Now during the rule of the 56th Shogun, Shiskuze Koijo history will be made.

    A heavily armored and powerful infantry division accompanied with many even more heavilly armored vehicles, packing the punch to take on five times there strenght, meaning 1 v 5 the Shogunat would win unless the enemy takes advantage of there slow speed and somehow comes up with a probable weak spot, there are not many, but they exist. The Shogunat has transformed the army into the Imperial Inqusition, down grading them into controlling the military and not the entire empire. The military of the Inqusition specializes in heavy armor and firepower, but the lack of speed is inportant, even for infantry, Every infantry unit carries a exo skeleton, a powerful armor that allows the carriage of heavy items and weapons. A very large military making them a force to be wreckoned with.

    Recruitment/Size-
    25% conscription rate, due to the double conscript rule, and the fact that war is going on, many people volunteer after there two conscripted tour of duties, due to there will to keep the Shogunat safe.

    Infromation:
    The Imperial inqusition's navy is small, but it's constructs are enormous, powerful and capable. They also serve as intimidation tools, which is the reason they are either huge or terrifyingly powerful. However given the nature of any huge ship, it suffers in speed and manuverability, much like it's troops.

    Large vessels:

    Imperius Extremum.
    The flagship of the Imperial Inqusitions navy. A ship of size beyond recognition.
    The ship is 230km in size.
    It acts as a invasion vessel, capable of carrying 1 billion soldiers and 50000 vehicles. however it often acts as a intimidation device, and can carry 10000 fighters and 10 battleships within it's hull. It's main roll however is as a orbital bombardment ship, it has long range cannons, making it the first to almost always fire and lay a hit on the enemy.
    It's shield are as powerful as it's hull, and both are hard as hell.

    Imperius Machina.
    A battleship the size of 10km, it is the main power of the navy, it is also the ship that the Imperius Hydromation carries in it's huge battleship hangars.
    The Imperius Mechanicus is a powerhouse and has powerful shields, powerful weapons and acts as a carrier too.
    It is the work horse of the Imperial inquisition's navy, they exist in large numbers.

    Imperius Potestatem.
    A powerful carrier of the scale of 50km, it carries 100000 fighters and capable of carrying 20 frigattes and corvettes.
    It is only equiped with defensive capabilities like anti missiles lasers and extremely powerful shields and anti nuke missiles, aswell as normal anti missile missiles.

    Small vessels:

    Imperial Contritio Vitae.
    The orbital nightmare, the ship only constructed to end life on planets, it's only weapon is the contritio vitae, and powerful laser beam that is used to bombard planets with, the longer the end of the laser is in one place the more power the laser gets, giving it capability of destroying large cities within hours. The Contritio Vitae has no defensive capabilities of its own so it has to be escorted by ships. Even though it is categorized as a small vessel it's scale is 50km.

    Imperial Defensor Vitae.
    The powerful defensive construct, it's shield is powerful, it however is not constructed to attack, no. It is a transport and dropship, it's scale is 5km and it is built to be able to carry as many soldiers as possible into combat, however it is also able to carry vehicles along with soldiers, and if the situation calls for it the Defensor Vitae can be transformed into a forward operation base.

    Imperatorius Construere.
    A ship serving as both a ship to ship battlecruiser but also a transport ship, it is 25km long and it serves as a heavily armored military transport.
    It is also equiped with air to ground capabilities once it's inside the atmosphere.

    Race Name-
    Imparial & Shifoin.

    Imparial are not NPCable, but Shifoin are.

    Population-
    175 billion, 40% are Shifoin.

    Habitat-
    Shifoin are capable of living in highly radioactive locations, they can take cold weather and they can survive without any help in highly polluted areas.
    Imparial's can survive terran planets, but since they live in space they have become dependant on personal armors when they operat in a planet that isn't terran, like desert planets, water planets, jungle planets, the list goes on.

    Appearance-
    Imparial's look almost exactly like humans except the fact that they live much longer and are normally 8ft tall.
    Shifoin are just as tall as Imparial's, there body looks much like a standing crocodile.

    Physiology-
    Imparial's eyes often change between fifty different shades of every color in the spectrum, it doesn't depend of emotion, they just change color.
    Imparial's are very non resistant to everything from poison to weather, which is also why they depend on a heavy personal armor they carry for survival, the armor is filled with a liquid, that isn't like water, you can breath in it and the likes, it isn't deadly to Imparial's either, this liquid gives them the calories in food and drinks, so they dont have to stop for food and the likes.
    Shifoin on the other hand are highly resistant to everything but very warm weather, by that i mean the same temprature of fire and above.

    Personality-
    Imparial's are very egocentrik and they belive they are the best, however there military skill is something that can't be looked away from.
    Shifoin on the other hand are very sharing, caring and nice, even if they may look like monsters, they are among the kindest there is, there working skill is amazing.

    Lifespan/Birth/Aging-
    Imparials are born like normal humans, there aging between kid to teenager happens at the age of 5 and is finished when they are 15 then there teenage to adult aging process starts at the year of 25 and ends at 30. There aging from adult to elder happens when there 800 and ends when there 900, then they die when there 1010, most of them atleast. The female carries the baby for 9 months, like we humans do.

    Shifoin are from eggs, they are made from sexual intercours between man and male, just like Imperials, but are birthed in eggs, they live for 600 years and they only age once, when there a child to man, this happens from 10 years old and ends at 20.

    Language-
    The Imperial language of the Shogunat or:
    Shihoir.

    Religion-
    none.

    Culture-
    Much like combination of greek, roman and samurai japanese culture, in a futuristic state.

    The Shifoin came from the seas of Hoir, now polluted beyond comprehension, however Shifoin came from below the ocean, from a reptile race of lesser inteligence.
