Conquest via the most warfare, yes, that is an ideal way to conquere the earth. A man now known as the Emperor of the NEU or New European Union's Emperor named Erik vi Imperius.

Several years before current day.
Erik takes over Sweden by becoming Prime Minister. After that he made a successful vote to do two things. 1) Change Sweden into imperialism. 2) Change Swedens name into the New European Union. The vote passed flawlessly, how? They say that Erik forced people to vote yes, via countless ways of threats. Again its unknown how he made people vote. The NEU's military production sky rocketed within the short time of 2 months, within a year the NEU had conquerd Danmark with litte effort and had begun conquest of Finland and Norway, within two short weeks both Finland and Norway where conquerd by the NEU. Stockholm was reconstructed into Fort Alfredsson, the home of all the high upps and the house hold of the E1-cannon. This cannon would be the doomsday weapon of the current era, the weapon had a blast radious of four nukes combined, it was still a long way from finishing, 10 years at best. The NEU took there 10 years of building a powerful and strong defense system of hundereds of fortresses along its territories. When 10 years had passed the E1-cannon was finished and the NEU's forces steamrolled towards Germany and any other countries they passed through they destroyed. Once at Germany the NEU unleashed its entire military arsenal on the German military, ending with victory for the NEU, with medium losses. After the conquest of the NEU Erik commanded the Construction of a fortress, the largest yet made, in the middle of Berlins ruins, the once proud city is now carrying a massive steel fortress on it's shoulders, a fortress named Victory. Victory will soon hold the largest cannon ever made in human history. The E1-Cannon was transported via one extremely large threaded transport tank, it was the size of a Tanker ship, within two months the tanker tank was in germany, because the tanker was to large to be transported via ship it had to go around Sweden slowly travel through Finland and towards Germany.

Once the E1-Cannon was re-located at the middle of Victory Fortress a test fire was made into the sea, the devastating fire was worthy of the doomsday weapon, not only that, but around the fortress you could see ruins all the way to the horizon, but not only that, the recoil of the E1-Cannon gave a very large shockwave from the cannons power making skyscrapers and tall buildings close to the cannon to fall over. 10 years later NEU launched an all out assault on France easilly desimating the resistence of the french and taking over france within weeks. the E1-Cannon fired at the abandoned Paris for a secound test fire, this time at a city. The shell landed at the Eiffel tower. The blast from the shell covered the entire city of paris and its surrounding farmland in a circular and extremely bright light, when it had dissapeared after about 30 secounds there was nothing left of the city, not even ruins, nothing but burnt grass and street pavement. All this with nothing more than one shell of the E1-Cannon. The E1-Cannon was a success, a very expensive one at that, but a success. Soon the EU had been completely conquered by the NEU. Within a year the NEU began to invade Asia, by now the NEU's military technology had surpassed even American tech, forcing Americans to stop bombing runs that they had been preforming for the latest 6 months. Within five years the NEU had made there way to Russia and China, both nations having the guts to keep the NEU's forces from advancing, even with the NEU's technological edge, the only thing that keep the NEU from advancing was the edge that the Russians and Chines had, they knew there enviroments, Russian and Chines artillery barrages forced the NEU forces to set up base just one kilometer from the Artillery inpact zone.

The NEU forces start to mobilize and mass around the front of the Chines defence line, within weeks the NEU forces had massed and not shortly after the E1-Cannon fired a shell at the enemy front lines, the destructive power destroying all of the enemy forces in that area, making a large hole in the defencive wall of China.

Current day.
NEU forces are advancing on Chinas capital, Beijing.

This is a RP of the Third world war.
The RPers will be apart of Doomhound 18th Armored Battalion and follow them as they push into the heart of China, once that is finished the RP will be attacking Russia, after that, we will see what happens next.
By the way just because its a armored battalion you wont be forced to be in a tank, you can be a soldier aswell, that gets deployed via APC.

I'm interested, but could we have a bit of information as to what's going on in the rest of the world? For example, has Russia and China formed a military bloc to resist the NEU, is the USA formally at war, what are other 3rd party nations up to etc etc. Also, what timescale is this? Is obviously modern, but 2020s, 2050s?

2065 sounds about the right number. The Russians and Chines are unable to transport supplies, the only chance they have to transport is via the sea but even that is filled with NEU warships, but the Chines and Russian are currently doing all they can to survive, and since they are both unable to advance further they cannot help each other. The USA bombed the NEU repeatedl before they realized that they wasted more reasources than they could destroy, so they stoped the bombings and are currently plotting there next move. Most third party nations cannot resist the NEU in any other way than small scale terrorism.
