What should I bake today? I really feel like baking something but I have no clue what. We have cake in the house as my sister's birthday was earlier in the week, but still I want to bake something.
Typically when this happens I just make poundcake and some glaze for it, but I'm really tired of poundcake, especially when it doesn't get eaten. So, Spam, what baked goodies should I make? I've got cookie recipes and cake recipes up the gazoonga, and an icing recipe I'm probably going to make no matter what.

Carrot cake. Mmmmm... carrot cake. One time a friend of mine made one and it had nuts in it, well my friend is slightly allergic to nuts and they had a piece because they didn't check the labels. Well I guess they looked over the box but since it didn't have a big bold word in any of the little boxes, he thought it would be fine. Plus the box didn't even have the W-word on it at all!

I'm in America and the pound isn't even open today for visitors anyway.
Combine these two. Make a courget cake using the carrot cake recipe but with grated courget to give it a little bit of a greenish tint, nothing major. Then top with green icing and some of those green pistachio nuts if you can get them. in fact bake some of them in as well.
