It was a dark time. War had swept across the world of Indra. The seven great clans; Fellac, Grandal, Randt, Vol, Jareek, Kasar, and Domet. Where they had once worked together as guardians of life; now they fought as foes.
Each was locked in a fierce struggle to reign supreme. Little did they realize that this struggle would cause the end of their world. For the force of their conflict, and the hatred it begot caused the birth of a being darker than any mortal. A creature of pure hatred and destructive intent. From their war, arose voideus. And in the span of a single decade the indrians were destroyed. Cast down by the monster of their own folly.
For a thousand years, the few survivors of voideus attempted to carve out a life in the wasteland of their home. And at every turn, voideus tried to finish what he began, and destroy them. The survivors fled to the ends of their ruined world. For millennia they fled, and slowly… The wounds inflicted upon the world healed. A new race came to dominate the world. Because for all the wrong that the indrians had done, their original intent was of good. This new race, these… humans were their legacy. And so, the last of the last of the indrians sacrificed themselves to seal voideus away. Dead and buried. Deep underneath the earth. In hopes of giving humans a chance of survival. Over time, all this was forgotten. But voideus still slumbered. And even a dead god has the power to act…
Now, in the current day; the wheel of fate is once more turning. Natural disasters plague the world. Monsters roam the lands, and people all across the world are awakening superhuman abilities.

Our story begins in the relatively peaceful farside city. For it is here that the “awakening” has begun.

All ye aspiring heroes. all ye sinister villains. here is a city, ripe for you to build and explore.

Powers: darkness, a being comprised of evil and malice given form, has no one true form. Being as his "body" is a mass of nanobots, he can shape and form himself to whatever form he pleases. he uses this to shapeshift, making any number of armaments from the shadows that make up his body. having been spawned from the genius intellect of tech guru Neo phoenix has gifted him with great intelligence and an aptitude for technology beyond the grasp of most.
Bio: darkness began existence as the suppressed, sociopathic alternate personality of world renowned technology guru and philanthropist Neo pheonix. for years, he lay suppressed, until an accident with an experimental technology meant to allow the mind to exist outside of a body to facilitate mind uploading to computers allowed him to escape. knowing that his freedom would be short lived had he tried to assume extended control of Neo's body, he used him to create a hive of liquid metal nanobots to upload himself to. after this was completed, he killed neo and assumed his Identity intent on using his freedom to create an empire of fear over the city and possibly beyond

Job: Fortuneteller, but she gambles on the side and secretly studies black magic.

Powers: She is able to speak and decipher most languages, is physically nimble, flexible and an adept dancer. Experience from her career has taught her how to give tarot readings, stone tablets, astrological readings, and other psychic and pseudo-supernatural abilities.
Granted by the Darkstone she keeps in her pocket, she also has an incredible luck factor. Because of this, the element of sheer chance favors her on so many levels in lots of situations. She rarely loses in games of chance because of this, among other similar things involving luck and gambling.

Another gift from her Darkstone is that she can draw magical power from it as fuel for her spells. The stone has a great amount of mana stored inside of it, but it is also limited. The more she draws from it, the less effective its luck-granting factor will be.
She has mastered a variety of black magic spells. Any effects from her spells are only temporary, but she can pour more magic into them to make them last longer or to have a slightly stronger effect. Likewise, she can also use less magic for a spell to have a reduced effect. Each spell requires at least a little concentration on her part to maintain, some more than others. And when that concentration breaks, the spell will abruptly end. However she also has the option of ending a spell voluntarily while in the middle of casting it. Her reserves from which she draws her magic from are rather high, and she has good control over it.

She also possesses a thick, heavy tome that has lots of spells. Deciphering the tome is difficult and takes time, which is just what she needs in order to learn new spells or improve on the ones she already knows. While she does not need to actually read a spell aloud in order to cast it, the book is what she uses to recall her magical energies. In other words she cannot cast magic without having that book in possession (although her Beacon spell may be an exception to this, she is not yet aware). Her spells are as follows:

Beacon — The only spell she can cast that has a permanent effect, and does not require concentration on her part to maintain, only to cast. By planting a droplet of her magic into a person or object, she can keep track of their location at all times. This spell also allows her to cast her spells on them while not even being near them, or at least have a spell cast someplace close to their location. This is possible because it is her own magical energy within the person or object, and that energy recognizes itself there. Using that to her advantage, she can use it as a separate channeling point to her magics.

Imposing Glare — By gazing into a person's eyes, she can catch their attention and draw their focus onto her and her only, blocking out everything else. But the more powerful effect of this spell is what allows her to invoke a very strong amount of emotion into the person. This can be any feeling from fear to love, to hatred, sorrow, etc. or even a calm serenity.

Mind's Eye — Puts a person under a sleep-like trance that allows her to forcibly extract information from their mind. She can also browse through their memories, and can sense their feelings during those situations.

Disguise — A simple spell that allows her to change her appearance.

Dreamweave — Allows her to control a person's dreams, plant false memories into their mind, delete other memories, and even bend their will to her own for a short time. This spell only works on someone while they are sleeping.

Toxic Cloud — From her mouth she can expel a vapor of noxious fumes that can intoxicate anyone besides her that inhales even a tiny bit of it. By poisoning their lungs, the cloud makes it harder for them to breathe. An ordinary person will eventually die from this unless an antidote is administered, but a strong enough person may survive.

Enfeeblement — This spell will force a person to temporarily reach the peak of their age, making them very old, shriveled up and weak. She cannot use this spell to actually kill a person this way unless they are either weak enough as it is, or are old enough to not be far from such a point anyway.

Shrinking Ray — By expelling a thin purple ray at the target, she will force their body to temporarily shrink down to a fraction of their size.

Soul Kiss — By kissing a person or other living thing, she can drain the very life essence from them. The longer and deeper the kiss, the more life she steals from the person, and the more she can recover from any harm dealt to her previously. A long enough kiss will eventually kill a person.

Death Bomb — This spell allows her to form a violet-black sphere of energy within a specified area or around a certain target. She can have the orb expand or shrink to a point. Its surface is highly dense and solid, making it very difficult for anything to pass in or out, even air. She can also cause the death bomb to either implode or explode. The bomb disappears when it explodes, and while nothing inside of it is harmed a violent wave of dark energy is forced outward from the barrier's edge, which is quite destructive. But when it implodes, the complete opposite happens. Everything inside the bomb is afflicted with the harmful force, but nothing outside.


Bio: She owns the Mind's Eye; a small astrological shop where she offers readings other psychic services to people. But she does much more than just that. Better yet, she manipulates them, picks their brains for amusement, toys with their feelings now and then, and uses them for personal gain.
One day she discovered a special stone. Being able to feel a strange presence from it, she took it up. She liked the appearance of the stone, and due to the feeling she had from it she called it the 'Darkstone,' and kept it as a good luck charm. Later, she was very surprised when she saw that it was actually working. Constantly winning her bets at casinos and other gambling holes where she was so used to wasting her money, the Darkstone had not failed her once. What she does not yet realize about her Darkstone is that it is not a stone at all, but in fact magic. It is black magic in its purest form, but it is so highly concentrated it is not only visible to the naked eye but condensed into a solid object. With it she had eventually driven several men into debt, won a ton of cash, and some valuable prizes from those who ran out of cash. Among them was a tome of forbidden dark magic.

Feeling a strong presence from the tome, she discovered she learned a lot. Not just about the forbidden black magics, but knowledge of the unknown. Of the forbidden.
Information that was never supposed to be learned or taught.
Secrets that were meant to be kept.
Mysteries never meant to be solved.
Truths that could not be handled.

[just a little note, this one may 'sound' Over the top, but It's quite thoroughly limited in reality xD]

Certainly not in the sense of being 'god' or anything. Reality hacking is infact quite limited, aside from the unimaginable complexity that goes into hacking 'reality', something simply cannot be done. For instance, one cannot suddenly 'turn air into laser', though one could use ambient material to 'create' something that may fire a laser.

It is more the ability to hack one's imagination 'into' reality, such as causing a section of the ground to try to 'punch' an opponent, programming an energy barrier out of the natural magnetic field in a certain area, or bringing a character from a game to life. [to put it much more simply, the potential variety that this power can produce is ludicrous, but it's power, obviously, is decided by the RP/GM, therefore, certain things just can't be done with it =P]

The biggest limit is that it uses up it's hacker's natural energy as 'resources', though the limit is a lot a higher than one might think, it is still also incentive to avoid doing something foolish like summoning a meteor or a real nuke.



Tohmas' Interpretation of Reality hacking would be called a 'gamer power' more accurately... For those who might 'somehow' be confused by this, it means that his power creates effects, characters, objects, or changes based on various games. These things all comes with the limitations that they had in a game, for instance, a 'zergling', while it may look fucking scary in real life, could be gunned down by a couple of cops regardless of the 'lore' being it because it still only have '35' HP and 'low defense'.

Another example, say he were to 'summon megaman', every tiny form of attack that hits him would stun him immediately, though for a short time and providing him a very short [maybe 1 second] period of invulnerability, that's unlikely to be enough time to get out a strong attack of any type.


The power of the effect is of course Directly proportional to the ammount of physical energy he has 'in-stock', though thanks to his abilities this can recover faster than a normal person [as long as he keeps himself well fed], It's not nearly fast enough for spur of the moment re-charges. however, he can 'deconstruct' hacked creations to return their energy to himself.


Incase this doesn't make it painfully obvious, Thomas himself is fragile and helpless unless he hacks a change for his own body, doing so will drastically slow down his ability to create other hack effects however, though without it, He's only about as strong as a normal person.

For those curious, the 'power' appears as a set of holographic keyboards and displays that he manipulates to cause these effects, though whether it is mentally based or technologically based is an unknown factor.

I know that I have already been approved, but I wanted to make just two little changes to my cs. Nothing big, just her job and a little bit about one spell to explain it better. It would make sense for her to be a gambler considering the advantage she has with such games, and I had to elaborate a little on the wording of the Death Bomb spell to prevent possible misinterpretations. The actual effects of the spell were never changed, though. That is all! ^^

high end processing: *angel has upgraded processors, and can consider multiple points at the same time.

limit removal: *Angel has the ability to remove the limiters on her strength, doubling her power. she doesn't do it often, because impacts at maximum strength damage her chassis

metal chassis: *Angel's body is made out of metal, making her able to withstand impacts better than most humans. she also doesn't depend on blood flow to stay alive, so the only way to kill her is to destroy her head.

(change)upgrade: *Angel can use compatible technology to upgrade her chassis, but most tech is only compatible to a certain point. if she uses an upgraded part a certain amount of times, the upgrade burns out and she has to remove it.

Bio: Angelica was involved in an accident that almost killed her. her rich parents shelled out tons of money to save her, depending on cutting edge cybernetics. recently she damaged the limiter on her right arm, so when she acts normal she has to keep it in a sling, to explain why she doesn't move it.
