SKILLS: Learning how to run, jump, sneak, and get in to places that was off-limits, she first started off at the age of ten trying to scale a simple one story bar and get in through the back as a test by the bartender. Succeeding, he gave her first cigarette. Seven years later, the best she can do is scale a simple two-story motel. But the girl believes that she'll eventually be capable of scaling the Smithsonian. She can fit through reasonably small areas such as vents and window openings, fast enough to get away from any type of danger. Being the stealthy little harlot that she is, she's very good at sneaking about and setting up traps as long as the right equipment is involved, as well as the right powers, eventually. She can tailor any costumes and mend them in case they're torn and damaged from combat.
ABILITIES: Transformation/Possession of deceased - Bleeding and coughing dark blood and black smoke from her nose and mouth during the first few week of discovering that she has powers, Winona notices that in moments of alert, a black puddle forms underneath her feet. At first it allows her to submerge underneath floors and sneak around, sometimes temporarily trapping people underneath if she so chooses to drag them down with her. But it will take some time to master, seeing that she starts out by only sinking about a feet or two below. Sooner or later, her power evolves as her veins start turning black, being able to touch the ground or a wall to send forth some of the black goo to ensnare her enemies temporarily, though being about as weak as spider webs while starting out. The abilities finally stop at being able to possess able to the dead or take on the form of creatures people commonly fear or find disturbing such as a black wolf, pack of rats, giant spider, etc. This works to decieve others and attack them with the forms she takes, although having few but great limitations.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Winona will start bleeding black and throwing up dark blood, growing sickly and weak, oftenly fainting of exhaustion. Her conditions will improve, but if she exhausts her powers enough, she'll most likely revert back to this state.
- Whenever someone is ensnared by the black goo, it can easily be ripped off by a second party.
- Winona can only get past doors when submerged underneath the floor like a regular puddle. Getting past something like a wall is a different story.
- Possession of the dead has few, but strong limits for her. First off, she can only possess someone of average size or less. Therefore, she won't be able to possess the body of some big and beefy guy lest she'd be constantly losing her balance. Any ability or memories this person might have known will be gone along with him/her, so if they knew how to repair cars at a certain auto repair shop, that knowledge would be beyond Winona's reach. Winona's grasp of the person's control fades away slowly and slowly, example being that possessed person's eyes and veins will start darkening and their voices will slowly distort. Black goo will bleed from their bodies slowly, a stab or a gunshot speeding up the process. Once all of the black goo bleeds out, so will Winona's possession with no possible chance of possessing the same body twice.
HISTORY: Ever since she was seven years old, she had ran away from a dull and drab foster home in Ohio where everyone was perky, yet in reality, they were actually fake and dysfunctional. Learning that her parents moved back to their home in England a few years after her birth, she set out towards New York at a very young age to seek out a ship back to the U.K. Couple of weeks later in New York, she realized she was going back for two people that abandoned her and probably didn't want her. So she traveled back west, then east again, then west once more until she developed a pattern to zig-zag New England, moving on further west to Colorado, Utah, etc. Ten years later on her seventeenth birthday, she finally reaches California. With a suitcase filled with clothing she stole from the dressers of mothers and daughters alike, a box and notebook full of secrets, a stuffed doll with black-button eyes, and a gun she had stolen from some pedophile that tried to get lucky with her but was knocked out while he tried to grab a beer, she was ready. Now during the present, tired of all the corruption, greed, violence, and hatred, a very tired Winona aims to pull off a Bonnie and Clyde, though in the manner of vigilance before she either dies or manages to live and tails it to England. Most likely, she'll die... but she has a chance to beat those odds with the strong and independent head on her shoulders.
PERSONALITY: Winona can be described as very deadpan and vacant. The only time she ever puts on a smile by herself is when she's tried to manipulate a bunch of good samaritans in to providing her food and shelter for the night ever since she was seven. She's not too much of a horrible person, however, since she sometimes leaves behind them a thank you card and a gift from whatever house she last stole from. Most of the time, she demonstrates a very feminine side by dressing up in fancy clothing and make-up that, once again, she stole. There's a side to her which she tends to keep to herself. She's even tailored her own clothing, borrowing the seamstress machine from a clothing shop. Getting Winona to smile is like getting a shark to laugh, but its worth it and almost like a lifetime accomplishment when you do. Once you do, she sees you as at least an acquaintance. Winona often adds a snarky comment and some advice on a plan then hides back in her thoughts when discussing important matters with her allies. Her actions are often planned ahead and done in the most confident and bold, plus sometimes eccentric and ballsy manner she could possibly think up of even if they do have risks.
