FULL NAME:
Christina Rose Felicity
NICKNAMES:
Chris, Chrissy by her father
ALIAS:
Volt
AGE:
Seventeen
HEIGHT:
4’9 ft
WEIGHT:
135 lbs
BUILD:
Stick-thin
EYE COLOUR:
Green
HAIR COLOUR:
Dyed black, originally a pale brown
APPEARANCE:
A plain-looking girl, Chris doesn’t care much for her appearance. Her thin build is a result of her forgetfulness when it comes to food and regulated jogging. She is far from athletic, and is very weak in her upper body area. She has a naturally flat chest, sadly, and very big thighs, leaving her to look a bit younger then she actually is. Her hair is dyed black (later on her hair will be dyed again due to a colorful obsession of hers) and choppy, reaching down to her mid-back in jagged layers, and is normally tied back in a messy ponytail. She has a soft-round face, completed with a small nose, big lips, and bright green eyes. Normally wearing tank tops, hoodies, sneakers, and sweat pants, she obviously has no sense of fashion. She has glasses, but refuses to wear them.

COSTUME [IF APPLICABLE]:
EQUIPMENT [IF APPLICABLE]:
A few old, yet still working cell phones and cameras.
A box cutter, old and rusty from years of just sitting on a rooftop without use.
SKILLS:
A honors student, Chris’ most powerful weapon is her mind. She loves computers, books, writings, and anything that can make her think hard. Some may call her a hacker of sorts, as she knows many “cheats” around internet firewalls and viruses. She is skilled enough to completely eradicate a single computers database. Any time she isn’t typing away on her laptop or phone, she is jogging lightly through the city (how else is she going to keep her skinny bod?). Due to her fascination in free running, she tries to practice it, but isn’t very good. Used to take kick boxing, but quit after only two classes. She is quick enough to dodge simple punches and blows, though, so the classes paid off somewhat. Due to her rather large and imaginative brain, she is able to learn certain skills almost impossibly fast, it all depends on her interest in it, though.
ABILITIES:
Electrokinesis:
The psi power to manipulate energies, electrical currents, and generate static electricity with the mind. One with this power could even summon lightning, or convert one’s own body into an entity of electrons. This power can be used to take control of the electrons in objects as well. In water, her power is able to spread out far and wide, but in open air she finds it harder to summon the lightning she wants. Using too much energy can be fatal. Starting off, Chris is only able to project small sparks and bolts while using her phone or camera as a medium. Her abilities will grow as the story goes on, of course.
PERSONALITY:
Chris is your regular shy girl. She hates, hates, HATES crowds and loves to stick to the shadows, watching other people from afar. Coming from a bad side of town, she is always extremely cautious around unfamiliar people, and in school she is known not to speak a word to other students, only to a few teachers who seem to be the people she trusts the most. With her cynical eyes and pouty lips, Chris seems like a normal loner in public, but when she is locked away in her room, she is a completely different person. Alone (or with someone trustworthy), she is loud, always chuckling or giggling at something she sees from the safety of herself. Her interest in electronics and learning gives her very well refined diction, she almost sounds like an old English professor at times! At times she can be spacy, staring off into space with a dreamy look in her eye as she thinks about something. When not seen walking/jogging blindly, quietly through the streets of the city, she is either sitting on her window-balcony, typing away on her laptop, or laying on the roof of her apartment building, counting the lights of the buildings above her.
As Volt, she is silent, stealthy, and when discovered, sassy. Her interest in back talking and insulting her enemies is almost taking too far when in the heat of a fight. Her foul mouth is truly her sharpest weapon, next to her mind and boxcutter, that is.
HISTORY:
Born into a poor family composed of a drunkard father and overworking, playboy bunny mother, some could say that Chris is deprived of a family. Her father was normally at home or out in a bar, drinking, complaining, and eating his misery away, and her mother was off whoring around at a “Gentleman’s Café”, but neither of them were malicious or (loosely used) bad people. In fact, whenever they were home, they tried to show her even a bit of love.
She grew up in an old apartment building, learning how to take care of herself and her father while trying to maintain good grades in school. Her interest in academics came from her lack of anything else to do at home, leaving the young girl to read whatever she could find or bring home, which included textbooks. Chris was never truly shy at the beginning of her years in school, but the more she talked about her odd interests and the things she reads, the more people began to bully her. She was bullied to the point of silence, and no longer talks around other adolescents her age. When she entered eighth grade, her interest about phones and laptops and electronics began to grow, grow large enough to actually give her the motivation to get a part time job and raise some money to get her own laptop and phone. Chris has been working every Friday since the age of thirteen. By the age of fourteen she began to show interest in superhero cartoons and movies, which was normally the interest of eight year old boys, but after discovering a few interesting screenshots on a social network site she was hooked. The idea of saving people, making people happy, and living a rich and extravagant life appealed to the young girl, enough so to make her take up a cheap kick boxing class (she only went for two classes, though).
Chris once tried to defend a poor lower classman getting bullied, and it ended in tragedy of course.
After a few months of trying and failing to help people, she lost touch with her heroism side, but that was quickly fixed when she arrived home one warm summer night to discover her father, being beaten in the alleyway close to her house. In a sudden burst of anger and protectiveness, she grabbed the closest (and biggest) object that was within reach and quickly knocked the man away from her drunken father. While the man stumbled into the darkness, obviously confused and stunned by the sudden pallet that had crashed around his head, the small girl quickly dragged her father inside their building. When they arrived to their home, and finally the last bit of adrenaline left her body, Chris smiled. That had been horrifying, yet somewhat… satisfying. Her father was still somewhat out of it, after all, he had been pummeled to a pulp, but his wide smile of thanks was genuine. Chris tried her best to smile back without vomiting up the excitement and fear she had just felt. Saving people… was it really this great?
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
She is terrified of dark, silent places, as well as enclosed spaces and too many people in one small area. Her interest in remixing music has given a very strange taste in that particular art. She loves to dye her hair, her last four colors were blue, purple, pink, and black.
