Solid footsteps could be heard as a man dressed in black walked through the colony, his eyes were filled with passion, yet the armor he wore made him look anything but passionate. To most it might seem rather warm to be wearing so much, but the man was used to it. He loved the heat; it made his whip a more damaging weapon, wrapping it around the neck of an opponent and burning their flesh. But that wasn't what was on his mind.
Bastion's mind.
People stepped aside as he walked on the dirt road. They were just normal humans, but they knew who he was. Bastion 'Grey' Neinstead, a hunter of the super natural. A Necromancer who could summon beasts from the depths. He might've not been liked, but he was mostly allowed free passage, aside from the man from time-to-time trying to prove they didn't need a 'Hunter'. A shirtless man with a tattoo across his left arm stood in front of him, cracking his knuckles and grinning. "I've heard of you, you freak." The man in said, standing almost an entire foot less than Bastion, who wasn't amused by the situation. "Pitiful." He said in a dull tone, as the man gritted his teeth. "I'll show you pitiful, you freak of nature!" He shouted, swinging a fist at Bastion's face. The blow connected, the fist landing on Bastion's left cheek. He took a deep breath, and exhaled. The man that punched him could feel the air that was blown upon him. "You have made a terrible mistake."
Bastion grabbed the man's hand, forcefully pulling downwards and causing him to fall to the ground. Bastion grabbed the whip that always stayed by his side, Grace, and swung it. Lashing it on the ground. The man manged to his backside, scooting away as quick as he could. "Woah, woah! Man! I was-" He was cut off as Bastion raised his whip, lashing it across the man's chest, which caused him to scream in immense pain. People all around stared at the sight, some knowing this was the fate of those who attempted to fight the Hunter. Bastion walked up to the injured man, kicking him to the ground and keeping his foot on his chest. "Is this what you wanted?" he asked, applying pressure. The man on the ground screamed, attempting to get away. "No! No, no, no! Oh jesus, god, lord no! I'm sorry!" He yelled, as Bastion had a faint smile, putting away his whip. The entire road became silent for a few seconds, as the man looked up at Bastion. "Y-You... Your going to let me go?" He asked, fearing for his life. Bastion chuckled, starring for a couple more seconds before reaching back and unsheathing Passion, his Great-Sword. He held it with both hands, aiming it down towards the man. Who was crying. He screamed one last time as Bastion drove the sword through his chest, ending his life.
Bastion sheathed his blade, looking around at the people. Some were minding their own business, others hiding their children. Bastion shook his head. "I was assaulted." He said, and it was correct, nobody objected him. Maybe they were too scared to... Scared they would be the next victim of his blade. Bastion continued walking, sighing deeply. "I need a drink." He said to himself, leaving the dead man in the road. It was only seconds later people ran up to the deceased and began picking what they could off his corpse.
