You wake up.
You feel groggy, look at your bedroom through a haze.
You find your feet, walk to your kitchen. The smell of coffee and cigarettes lingers, fueling your morning desire.
You are suddenly off your feet.
Your wife, husband, son, daughter, neighbour - whoever they are to you - is trying to bite you, claw you, turn your insides out.
Your scream, you struggle, you panic.
You manage to fight them off but they're up again.
You break the coffee pot over their head, or a mug, or a breadboard, whatever you manage to grab hold of.
You see them go down.
You take a deep breath.
You see them begin to stir.
You run outside, screaming for help.
You are not prepared for what you see.
You see chaos.
You see blood.
You see fire.
You see what you can only describe as the worst carnage of your wildest nightmares.
You hear him, her, it behind you.
You feel it grab a hold of you.
You stumble away, it follows.
You pick up a shovel, pitchfork, garden shears.
You barely recognize the once familiar face as you remove it from their shoulders.
You are in shock, all around you is hell, and its got its eyes on you.
You race for the car keys and you haul ass out of there.
You're still in your robe, you haven't brushed your hair, your teeth, never did get that coffee.

You find yourself out of town.
Your twentieth cigarette has dulled your adrenaline and now you cry in spite of yourself.
You relax.
You close your eyes.
You open them to view a wreckage up ahead.
You gasp.
You swerve.
You crash.
You get out and run.
You come across a farmhouse, it is mid-afternoon.
You wander tentatively inside.
You see an older man, he seems to be alone.

He sees you.
He beckons for you to sit, points at a coffee pot.
He goes on reading his newspaper.
He calmly explains what is happening.
He unnerves you, but he comforts you, most of all he just confuses you.
He is not your last, best hope for survival, but...
He is alive.
He is armed.
He is not afraid, and if he is, he hides it well.



Fairly straightforward.
Zombies, survivors, epidemic.
This is going to casual, it's all about fun, I don't care if it's cliched or the same old shit. We're here to have fun.
If cliched, zombie fun is what you're seeking then you've come to the right place.
If it ain't...fuck off?

Also, if it isn't clear, you are the "you" in the intro, there can be any number of "yous" in this, and I am "he".

Also, I want to point out, that this doesn't necessarily have to be cliched, if anyone would like to add some sort of "innovation" to the story then go ahead. This is a game for all of us.

Are we just diving straight into this? Like we're not doing any OOC stuff to give the bare minimum of our characters? Or are we just kinda dropping them in the midst of everything and kinda form them within the RP itself?
