I was thinking of being an engineer, would everyone be cool with that or should I pick something else? I'd like to try to make a character that helps balance the group out.

Oh I know I did not post in the OOC but I loved Valkryria Chronicles, both the games and the Anime, watched and played them all! I would love to join if I can.

Would I be allowed to be an Armored Tech or the tank commander, I would just take the role of an engineer then.

Question: Do we know what the other 'two' (and Jinx) will be playing in regards to class?
I know you said a balance isn't essential, but I'm just curious, don't want half-a-dozen storm... err shocktroopers around. xD

Question2: I actually started on a CS and as I was writing it started having second thoughts. I mean I love Valkyria, and I think the setup is great. But just how active are you planning to have this RP be? Call me a speed-poster if you must but I'm one of those people that prefer to have a post every day, or at least every other day. Rp's that get 3~4 posts a week just don't manage to keep my interest. So I figured it'd be best to ask this now instead of ask later, and drop out a few posts in.

If one post a day makes you a speed-poster, then I must be one too ^^; I'd consider that about my ideal RP speed - I've been in a few (in hindsight, kinda insane) RPs where you'd get a post every 30 minutes, once-a-day is downright leisurely in comparison.

I think this is the current roster from what I've been told:

Celestial - Scout
Minder - Shock Trooper
Robeatics - Engineer
Alvis - Unknown (I don't remember if he or she has really declared a class yet)
Jinxlynx - Armored tech/ tank commander ... I think?

For your second question, I think it very much depends. I try to at least reply on the same day and no later than a day after a post. So, from what I've read, it should fit your posting habits. Of course, if you're expecting instantaneous replies (like every 20 minutes), I'm not sure if I can meet that standard.

Long story short, I'll at least try to reply on the same day, and if I for some reason cannot, I will most certainly reply the day after. If something in rl comes up which impacts my posting speed, I will notify everyone via OOC.
