Yessir, I'd say it was during the height of the "Heroic Age." Basically, it was a cosmic event of epic proportions that wiped out a shit ton of life across the universe, the heroes and villains of Earth whom were caught up in it among the dead. Since nobody alive, in game, really knows what caused the Cataclysm I'm keeping it a mystery. Something to be revealed later on down the road.
And, just to get a picture, what character(s) is everybody shooting for? I see a Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Black Widow, and my Thor, but what about the rest of you? I ask mainly because I'm thinking of a potential second character and don't want to step on any toes.
The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more.
I'm probably going to make a OC
Probably someone working for the L-CORP.
I have a few ideas for second characters as well, but I'm going to wait to see where everyone else goes with theirs. And thanks for the info. My Hawkeye app is done, any ETA for the OOC?
Since there's damn near ten people interested, I'll put it up in a few.
