There was definitely a different atmosphere in the room now that the other wolves were well enough to watch to revival process. Yet, it was a welcome change in some aspects. It was nice to already know the names of the two. There was also less pressure to calm down those revived as Kavoi was allowed to move in first. She was allowed to observe as he was able to offer comfort much quicker than she or Morgan had been able to. Yet, she of course was still needed to give Lexu as connection of communication with the researchers.
So she moved into the room shortly after Kavoi motioned for her to join him in the room. She smiled as the male introduced her. Yet that smile faded as she met Lexu’s glazed look. Must the day start off with a tragedy? “Morgan,” she turned back to the room that she had just been in – knowing that she should probably use formalities, but such things were not on her mind, “We need the medics, I think.”
Something wasn’t right, and she wasn’t sure if the skilled doctors and nurses were going to be able to help. Yet she couldn’t stand by and do nothing as she once again met Lexus’s gaze. “After what you’ve gone through, you are all very weak. And I’m afraid, Lexu, that your heart may not be able to handle the strain. Luckily you’re with friends, and we’re all here to help you. We’ll do all we can to help you.” Cassie turned her gaze to Kavoi. “I’m sorry.” Cassie then looked to little Juska – who was hopefully faring better than his mother.
